Lately i'm experiencing dynamic buzzing. Could you recommend how to fix this issue?
I'm on bad boyz sense 6 4.4.2 version. Elementax 13.7 kernel.
What is dynamic buzzing anyways?

In lower frequencies and loud ringtones it has unclear sound.

You mean the sound is distorted right? does it happen in other roms? and are both of your speakers buzzing?
My advice: try other roms to see if it still there. If yes, it could be a hardware problem.

For myself, my top speaker sound is distorded because I dropped the phone. But replacing it means taking the phone apart and trust me, its a pain in the arse.
Unless you get it done by a pro.

They shouldn't be distorted to much unless your using a soundmod such as intense blast that increases the sound output on the speakers. They say on stock there's minimal distortion but I've never heard it.

After finding the volume of my Nexus S insufficient I did a bit of digging and stumbled across an app called volume+. After running across several methods to increase the volume that didn't work I was quite skeptical of this one. Much to surprise it works and works well. I now have a much louder speaker on my NS!
I take no credit for this app, as it is something I just happened across.

I need something that can increase the headset volume on my phone.
It's turned all the way up and if I'm somewhere with just a little noise I can barely hear the person. My Nexus One was clear and loud. My Nexus S is clear, but very low.
Awesome. It works decent

Nice I needed this if only this can work on incall volume as well would be crazy good

In call volume would be nice but for be the alert tones being increased is a good improvement for me.
Thanks ive been looking for something like this

If you set it too loud constantly this WILL damage the speaker.
Anyhow though, great app, confused as to why you posted an old 1.4apk, 1.6.2 is out xD
Ok my ringtones are louder when I listen to them in settings but when I receive a call they dont sound ne louder then they were before volume app was added
Awesome !!
This is a great app. I use it. It's only about $1.50 in the Market, so I went ahead and bought it.
I think voodoo might increase headset volume.
This is a life saver! My speaker sucked but now it's great

Hello everyone got my silver pre order yesterday...does anyone noticed the boomsound is not as loud?
I mean I have the volume all the way up and I was under impression to be a bit more louder am I missing something are there a setting somewhere I can't seem to find it again I tried putting volume all the way up maybe defect anyone?
It should be deafening, if you put it to your ear
So that's what I'm supposed to do?
;p nah to be honest, if it's no blowing you away then it's faulty! It's hard to explain how loud it should be...
pick a song I'll record it for you so you can hear the sound of mine
I agree with the others, it startled me upon the first startup.
This is probably the first phone that I don't have the volume up to 100% all the time. In contrast, I'm using around 30% volume and still feel its loud..
If you don't feel its loud, go replace it
Yep that's EXACTLY what I was saying I mean it's loud but not like in the youtube review videos that I've seen on the Internet where everybody's keeping it below hundred percent I'm at like a hundred percent and not happyit's definitely not blowing me away its loud though but not blowing me away loud
I find it loud for ringtones and notifications but music and video is not louder than SGS3

Don't compress your mp3 files or video files! Make sure the bitrate is high enough.
I am reading threads that's complaining about how loud the volume is even on the lowest setting yet I find this thread stating that the volume isn't that loud on the highest setting. :/
Kinda contradicting to be honest.
It's honestly too loud.
I was trying to watch a movie last night in bed and it was so loud on 3%!
It all depends on the audio and video files you are playing also. Low quality music is going to sound bad regardless of what device it's playing out of

Best to turn beats off when in a big room or a loud enviroment when using the speakers.
Beats on is great when I'm at home and it's not too noisy as you can really hear the low end.
But to be honest I usually leave beats off unless I'm using headphones.

So now it's the files all I'm saying is on videos I saw on YouTube they all have to lower their volume down I'm like at 100% not as blow me away loud just wondering if anyone experiencing the same
I agree with you. Louder wouldn't hurt.
Louder? When im in my room and i have the sound on the lowest setting im still thinking i'll wake everyone up. That thing is really really loud. Im wishing for a setting with even less sound.
Dude I'm definitely not getting that lol it's just loud like any other gs 3 phone lol

So only in youtube it doesn't sound loud?
Did you try the ringtones? Even thou I did not get my phone yet since it will ship Monday, I was testing the AT&T one they had on demo. Just simply playing Ringtone at the lowest setting was quite audible and didn't want to put it up louder since I was the only customer in the store and there was a bunch of employes standing nearby in proximity to where I was.
Probably be safe to say if the ringtones are not loud either, then it could be problem.

Don't get me wrong, it's loud. It's loud enough. However while streaming music for instance, if it could go up a notch or 2 more, it would be even better imo.
Ok so here is another question boomsound or no boomsound?.is it me or boom sound off it's louder like a bit?
Anyone agree?

Definitely. It's louder with it off, but fuller/richer when it's on.
I'm interested in getting this phone, I checked on gsmarena and the freq response is perfect.I just wanna know if anyone's flashed CM if the volume levels on headphones are increased. From my past experience with sony phones, when I flashed CM the levels were always louder but I just wanna make sure before I make the move and throw 500 euros out there. Thanks upfront.

In my experience so far using poweramp, the volume is quite high, i will admit using the stock walkman app isnt as loud. btw unlocking your bootloader in order to install CM will break your camera.

Turned off the equalizer in poweramp and its still fairly good to be honest with you, turned off bass and treble in poweramp aswell, volume level was decent. i dont touch preamp, it distorts the sound too much for my liking. one thing i will mention is that i run a modified stock rom, the developer of the rom has included a mod which increases the headphone and external speaker volume, that may attribute why i get good volume levels and i am using some decent earphones too

here you go http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2481248 , make sure you read the instructions carefully.
This is real SRS Trumedia by SRS Labs (For music and video).
This is the only Mod that really activate SRS effect on your devices.
After install this mod, you will experience:
Surround effect(For headphone, bt, portable & etc...)
The sound becoming detailed(Dynamic Sample rate increased, You'll feel your music becoming more details now!)
Background sound is heard clearly(Clarity)
Volume Gain! (Please be careful with your speaker sound. As it is set to global changes in your sound volume. You should lower it to 2 level from the normal volume to achives normal speaker loudness.)
TAKE NOTES THAT:
WILL Work on most Gingerbread Rom's out there, If it is built properly.
NO ICS SUPPORT (CM9-Beta1)
DSP, Volume+ app and other application that use/depends on libcyanogen-dsp.so will stop functioning as you flashed this mod. So remove them before flashing to avoid annoying Force closes on them....
This is tested on CM7-RC4 rom without any problems, although it support many rom outside there.
*** This mod start up with boot. You can't turn off SRS Trumedia effect.***
Excited

The method works tried but the sound is extremely distorted once you crank up the volume, I restored back to the stock settings.
maybe we can adjust the volume ....
btw. i think original thread is here

you can change it all you want. but you're still putting loud noise through an earpeice speaker. claririty would never be good. and it could actually damage it

Maybe not. Most high end mobile devices are using speaker protection algorithms to prevent speaker excursion outside of specified limits. This allows a speaker to be driven much harder than it otherwise could be and is a key part in delivering better audio performance on mobile devices. The speakers are probably quite tolerant to abuse.

imagine you have two drums, a very small drum thats designed to be hit with a brush to create an acoustically pleasant sound and a bass drum with a larger striking instrument that makes a larger sound.
the hardware is two different things and the software tells us what device to strike the drums with. so the software would for example say
small drum = brush
bass drum = large mallet
if you edit the software so
small drum = large mallet
bass drum = large mallet
this would mean the incorrect method is being used to make sound out of the smaller drum
that algorithm is in mixer-paths.xml, this makes sure the earpiece speaker only gives a set amount of sound out. the edit the OP gives us erases the algorithms to use a custom set that make the earpiece go a lot louder.
this of course means there's more stress being given to the smaller drum and it will inevitably break
the only way that this hack is good for you device is if the earpiece and loudspeaker are the exact same units and the same volume can go through both without consequence
but this would mean that Samsung put two loudspeakers in one phone and used a piece of software to make sure one underperformed. would would be an uneconomical move.
lets assume they aren't morons and theyve put adequate hardware where it needs to be. this means the stress of the smaller speaker trying to put the same volume out as the loudspeaker is detrimental to its function and life
These algorithms are usually in the DSP...

im pretty sure all that does it normalises audio processing under normal use. once you **** around with the xml audio paths it override dsp
Who cares...it works. Use it or don't use it.

Firstly. Absolutely nothing forbids me from offering advice or warnings in the forum, and theres no way you can stop me
secondly. i said i was dubious as using an earpiece speaker as a loudspeaker under any circumstances would probably break it
Thirdly, the only person i criticized was you for having good insurance or no sense
also i did post up my theory above, its a sound theory. if thats still qualifies as "without having the slightest clue" put it this way instead. ive been here doing this **** twice as long as you have and ive actually had first hand experience of speakers breaking from hacks
A few posts have been removed. It's completely fine to have a constructive disagreement, but please do so without attacking one another. Thanks.
