Hey guys!
Anyone here has an app that can convert or read microsoft office files on s3 mini..
Please share, thanks!

Quick office is just awesome... It creates and edits Microsoft office documents and its PDF viewer

Appreciate that! I will definitely download it. thanks a lot!

Quickoffice is the best app you can have in this case.
It's for free, it just works, it does what it should do.
Good Luck!

Yes, I suggest to prove Quickoffice is the best documents apk i been tested.

Of course, Quickoffice is the best solution. I think you can still get the 15 GB of free Google Drive storage, but I'm not sure if they're still doing that.

Hi, i wanted to ask if there are any apps that could act like online cloud service, box, dropbox and drive, but instead of uploading it, export it into the phone rather upload it to the internet. One apps i just installed is called flipaclip has export but only upload via the network, no option to save into phone.
Thank you in advance

Confused as to what your asking it isn't completely clear... all those apps let you download and save to your phone...can you clarify what you want to do

You want a cloud service without the cloud?
What do you want?

What app can read and edit openoffice.org files

I use openoffice.org on the laptop and would like to use the files on the GT w/o converting them to microsoft office formats. Any one know of a free office app that will read openoffice.org formats?
I use OpenDocument Reader.

Google is your friend. To make it even easier I have included the actual hyperlink used to search.

Thank you I appreciate you all think I'm an idiot that has not done this search. But this only shows "readers" ..I was asking the community about an app that you can EDIT the openoffice.org docs not just read them
Not trying to be offensive... if you already searched for it you should mention that... too many people don't use Google at all
All I can find as well is a reader. You could try Google docs, IIRC it does open office and I think the latest version's pretty good... other than that I think you're out luck...

Try to convert the docs using an app in android and then edit them with something like quick office or kingsoft office
I JUST installed this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=at.tomtasche.reader
and, yes, they say you can't alter the docs, but maybe that will happen eventually. Anyway, I figured you might just want to know about it

Replaced my gTalk with no problems, looks rather aesthetically pleasing but the UI in general needs ironing out and making more functional. At the moment for me at least it feels too clunky and confusing, especially with multiple Google accounts connected.:silly:
I got it from playstore as a update

if you are unable to update hangout then log on to play store from pc and update from there i did it on the very 1st day it came out without any issues
Got a problem with hangouts when i call they hear me but i dont hear anything when they speak anyone else getting this?

this update is the worst ever of GTalk, i prefer the old one !
I find the New one very cool and a great improvement

It asked to update to Hangout. No need for external apk.
Since I updated to hangouts, I can't sign in - it always gives me the error "Couldn't sign in because we couldn't reach Google. Try again." Anybody else having this problem just with this one app? :crying:
exelent thanks:good:
working very well

[APP][4.2+]Pure Rss - An Offline Rss Reader

Being an avid news reader, I really missed the good old Google reader when it shut down. After that, a couple of services like FlipBoard popped up...but I didn't like the curation done by them. Feedly is an awesome service...but its UI has become really old and no longer interesting.
So, I decided to make an app with everything I wanted in it as a user. I feel like this has come out really well so far and now, I can use some feedback from the XDA community to perfect it.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.udn4hc.purerss
The app doesn't have any ads right now. The Screenshots provided in the listing are a little outdated, but I have created a new promo video. Please access it from the play store, or use this link https://youtu.be/ZjzhKE36OrM
I want to provide Feedly sync functionality in the application...but the Feedly team is currently upgrading their API to v2 and won't give access to new applications in the meanwhile. So, that will be a future upgrade whenever they are ready.
To list out a few features in the app -
- flip scrollng - similar to flipboard
- pager scrolling - similar to feedly
- standard Android scrolling with lists and cards
- Offline access to articles/images
- Custom sync/cleanup intervals
- Alternate Themes - 6 currently, including a dark theme
- Multiple fonts available to choose from
- Material Design
- OPML Import
- And many more
Please go through the app and let me know your feedback
Loving this but some of the images are coming out pixelated. Can't wait fir feedlysync! Keep up the good work!

Ehh, how do you do OPML import?
Edit: Nvm, found the option. Lol. Never expected to press the search icon..

I am waiting badly for the feedly team to finish their update too
Regarding the images, I did see some websites have images as big as 20 mb in their feeds. They must really be out of their mind! The app is currently choking(oom error) while trying to render such high quality images, sorry. I will try to address that soon.
Thanks!! Interesting app.
Black theme looks fantastic.
