I have a friend who asked me to root his HTC One M7 from sprint. I told him yes, and when I explained that we had to unlock the bootloader, it would wipe his phone clean. Well after that he told me it is flashed to PagePlus. If I go to unlock the bootloader so I can root it, will the phone lose its compatibility with PagePlus? Plus can anyone direct me to a good tutorial for unlocking the bootloader and rooting this phone?! Thanks in advance!!!!

Do I must do wipe cache ?
I've had my phone bootloader unlocked for a few weeks now and in that time I haven't done anything else with it. So I want to relock it for now. But no one seems to say if the relock process is destructive, like the unlock process.
