of my storage as you can see I only have 3.38Gb left from
10.54Gb. I'm missing 6 + Gb? Any ideas?? Or is just the system takes up so much?
I'm running CyanogenMod 10.2/ 4.3.1.
Thank you

My 32gb touchpad "missed" 6gb too. I think Android and webos system used that space.
Kinda thought that just doesn't leave me with much.
Thanks for the reply.

You can also use the Tailor app in webos to make sure, as well asnchecknthendrive for errors etc. Here is the link to rolands page with a lot of valuble info, there is a section on how to change partition sizes using the tailor app, you can use it to check the sizes:

This!
The change of having android data stored from the shared SD card to an increased android only partition was confusing at first but it makes sense why the change was made...now I left only 500mb to webOS with 11+ GB to kitkat

You can delete all files in the webos LOST.DIR (recycle bin). This might allow you to get the 500mb down to 400.

I would have to say the reason we haven't seen a deodexed system file is we don't have root so we don't have a way to put it in over the existing one. Or is there a away?
Does this help

Accessing Recovery
I'm not sure if anyone is aware of this, however, I was able to access the recovery by simply holding down x while powering on the device. once you see the little android logo, just tap simultaneously volume up & down buttons. you should be able to perform simple stuff such as factory resets. now you can also push an update.zip file so if any developers can push an exploitable .zip file to gain root access feel free too!
That would be nice. What do we name bootloader .zips on this phone? My last device was an Incredible and we named those PB31IMG.zip.
Once we get cwm and I can get a boot.img I can (try to) make a slimmed-down rom with some bloat removed.
Sent from my DROID3 using XDA App
not sure. but i'll do some research.
Nice that sounds like it makes an improvement towards rooting since that was how the thunderbolt had to be rooted too
Sent from my DROID3 using XDA Premium App
No. The HTC phones are different; That method uses Fastboot to install an update rather than using Recovery.

Has anyone tried installing ubuntu with this? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zpwebsites.ubuntuinstall&hl=en
Would it be too laggy to use? And is it even possible with our device, ppl have got it working with s2.
Requires:
Root yep
1GHZ processor (recommended) (dunno if this is men´t to be dualcore?)
Android 2.1 or higher yep
Kernel will loop device support (this is included in most custom ROM's) what?
SD card with at least 3.5GB of free space for large image (2.5GB for small image) yep
Data connection on your device yep
Ext2 file system support yep?
Anyway if this actually works, I could imagine that best ROM to use this with would be CM9 or AOSP? According to description in the app this should run on top of your basic android so, I would modify very lightweight ROM for this only with couple core apps, and you could just do backups and switch from ubuntu rom to your main rom and back Would be really nice to use Open-office with this.
This guy who had S2 gived this feedback in app:
Carl on May 22, 2012 (Version 3.0.1)
Best app I have ever had
Very impressed. Running the full image file and works well. Tho it is a little laggy opening apps (to be expected). Once firefox loads, browsing the web is on par with my default phone internet app. Can't wait to hook up a TV, mouse and keyboard. Great stuff!! I have a Galaxy S2 with stock rooted gingerbread.
Would be cool on a tablet, but hey, at a 4" screen?!
Still bigger than Iphone´s

Seen that, but when its going to be released ?

P.S. found this folder it contains 331 items can't see the mb since it takes forever or get stucked. But it has some loops in it or so dunno exact what it is

See my last posts picture where it shows one of the getting me to system apps folder even it says other on the folder path.

I'm not sure really, but I thought that the amount of memory was originally 16GB, after rooting and installing cyanogenmod11 I only have a 4.65GB
and 1.5GB left as I also have a backup installed.
Why has this happened?
Are you really sure that you have the 16 GB version? 4.65 GB seems normal here.

Never mind, The man at the store was probably lying for more sales, I did already think that it would have been less that 16GB so I am not surprised, I wanted to install NOVA but I don't have enough room and Apps2Sd doesn't seem to work for me.
