Hi I have since few weeks a strange behaviour on the phone it shows the external storage and it comes at 10mb even the usb has 300mb used from the 11gb and the microsd has 15gb free to from the 64gb.

The app is 30mb why the f..... it says not enough storage?

Use root explorer and check in /data partition and delete the lost+found folder and try again.
It is empty there was nothing in it
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk
And now tapatalk doesn't let meedit previous post.
Btw when installing uninstalling apps the internal memmory report varies.
I did uninstall a app after that internal memmory at 95mb
5seconds later
I installed a app and then the msg was internal memmory at 258mb.
Wtf is wrong with it?

Is this folder normal? /data/data/ it contains 4500 files with 600mb
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk
Yes. That's where apps store data.
---------- Post added at 03:08 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:03 PM ----------
You can also check data/log folder.
And what is system/app folder?
P.S. found this folder it contains 331 items can't see the mb since it takes forever or get stucked. But it has some loops in it or so dunno exact what it is
Here a ss from 1 of the 331 items in it. Not all are the same btw.

And those on the /proc/300-400folders what are they? The golders in it have number names and as I have checked some they contain a lets say it loop folder who gets you to system or data folder. See my last posts picture where it shows one of the getting me to system apps folder even it says other on the folder path.
Btw thanks for the responces.

I would have to say the reason we haven't seen a deodexed system file is we don't have root so we don't have a way to put it in over the existing one. Or is there a away?
Does this help

Accessing Recovery
I'm not sure if anyone is aware of this, however, I was able to access the recovery by simply holding down x while powering on the device. once you see the little android logo, just tap simultaneously volume up & down buttons. you should be able to perform simple stuff such as factory resets. now you can also push an update.zip file so if any developers can push an exploitable .zip file to gain root access feel free too!
That would be nice. What do we name bootloader .zips on this phone? My last device was an Incredible and we named those PB31IMG.zip.
Once we get cwm and I can get a boot.img I can (try to) make a slimmed-down rom with some bloat removed.
Sent from my DROID3 using XDA App
not sure. but i'll do some research.
Nice that sounds like it makes an improvement towards rooting since that was how the thunderbolt had to be rooted too

No. The HTC phones are different; That method uses Fastboot to install an update rather than using Recovery.

I dont know if this tip is here but to change alarm tone delete System\media\audio\alarms\1_Good_Morning.ogg and copy here your .ogg sound (maybe mp3) and rename to 1_Good_Morning.ogg ...this works for others sound as sms etc....

You can make these directories onto your sd card, and copy the sound files there (mp3 or ogg, it can be either of them).
It is simpler than your way

Did you mean, you have rooted phone and root browser?
My question was, how did you make the directories on sd?
What is the exact path of the directory which you tried?
It isn't in the forum, but I think the most already know that

I got MyXperia(TM) via OTA today and its a stolen phone locator service from Sony https://myxperia.sonymobile.com
It has GPS location shown on a map-, "lost my phone message" on lock-screen, 60 second sound/alarm push, lock the device and erase phone and memory card.
I think it works well so far.
Install as regular apk or change your custom no# 1268-6904 in build.prop and get it via OTA.
Ps. Why do you take it from here and call it your own leak?
You could also try fetching the APK from your /system/app directory.

It only needed one post so I think 5 posts is overkill.

You can also use the Tailor app in webos to make sure, as well asnchecknthendrive for errors etc. Here is the link to rolands page with a lot of valuble info, there is a section on how to change partition sizes using the tailor app, you can use it to check the sizes:

You can delete all files in the webos LOST.DIR (recycle bin). This might allow you to get the 500mb down to 400.
