Hi guys.
This has been bothering me for a while on Sony Stock roms, from 4.1.2 to 4.2.2 and even on the new 4.3.
Everytime i activate WiFi i'm getting neverending Awake times.

Wakelock says its mostly suspend backoff problem.
I say that's happening because i have a few DLNA servers in my home Network, and some Sony app is causing this Problem. i can't remember having it to such extend on the Beanstalk 4.4 Rom. No suspend backoff at all!
So heres my Network!
3 WiFi AccesPoints over the whole House, all same SSID and PW so it does auto reconnect.
Synology NAS with DLNA server.
RaspberryPi with OpenElec DLNA server
Toshiba DRM-BST sat reciever with DLNA server
i think that a combination of these things is causing all the problems, because if i deactivate WiFI and use 3G Mobile Data i do not have this problems.
Oh... and i'm having 2x Exchange Push sync, WhatsApp, Facebook, Gmail account syncing, which are also battery Hogs, but the battery life is way better with 3G so i think this is not the problem!
Can anyone confirm having Problems with DLNA server and WiFi on Stock ROMs ?

I have the same exact problem, even BetterBatteryStats shows similar % for suspend_backoff and mmc1_detect, but Wifi or 3G its still there for me. Looking for a solution as well, Currently on Stock 4.3

Is Google syncing wifi passwords with your account? Must be; my replacement n1 automatically knew my wifi wpa key once I synced my Google account. trying to locate granular limiting details. Thanks
It has an option of "Back up and restore phone settings". Those probably include WiFi passwords.

Watch out, they may fly out to your house, sit outside, join your wifi and then steal all your personal data

Only messing is this a big problem anyhow? I'd see this as a plus rather than a negative, it's not like you are trusting a random third party with your details.

You could check it with speedtest.net app from the market.
Skyfire has been the fastest browser for me..till date..
Then do anyone knows what the different between these two apps?
Ehm, the first one is called internet accelerator so it's sense is probably to accelerate your internet connection. The second one is called network signal booster so it should boost your network signal. Pretty clear what the diference is
I would be very careful with such apps. I don't know what they claim but I don't see how an app can accelerate the internet connection. And I absolutely don't believe that a software can boost the network signal. Only a better antenna could do this.

Hi there, until a few days ago I had great battery life with my Razr i, but I noticed that now it drains about 10 to 15% over night.
So I get BetterBatteryStats on the store but I am not really familiar with it, so I'm asking for your advices.
I can see that for a 7h25 period of time, my phone has been in Deep Sleep for 6h7 and Awake for 1h18.
1h18 is quite a long time so I guess the lead is good, but I can't really understand wich app is causing the issue.
Here are the sceernshots (next time I'll resize them :cyclops :

Ok as an update, wl1271_wake seems to be wifi activity, so I guess one of my apps is dealing with several transfers at night (1h08).
Any way to identify the app causing this ?
I thought about an app that monitors wifi and mobile data network activity, do you know a good one ?
Google now is disabled on my phone, but maps is not (I use it every day).
I don't remember having installed a new app or updated any app the day the issue appeared...
Another update :
What bothers me is the line "GTALK_ASYNC_CONN_com.google.android.gsf.gtalkservice.AndroidEndpoint", Google talk is disabled on my phone (and have been before the issue happens), any way to prevent this service to run ?
I guess it's included in "Google Services" and market/maps will not work anymore if I disabled it...
Anyways, not sure if the issue come from there as it's written to have ran for only 1m9 during the night.
Sorry for another thread about this problem but after suffering with delayed notifications and a lot of tests installing fix for jwr build and installing jss and using custom kernels but nothing..
Asking people some help because not everybody have same problem, I realized that my problem was
Linksys Router wrt54g and not 4.3 rom..

I've tested with 3 differents wrt54g in 3 differents locations ( My home, friends house and work )
When I use another router, it works without delay notification. Tried with 3 different routers and everything's ok!
I don't know if here is the right place to put this thread, if its not, please, move to the right place
I just wanna share what i've done to fix my problem.
sorry for my bad english.:
Hello,
Please continue discussion here
Wifi network connectivity issues and a possible fix
We've long known that the brand of router is significant when troubleshooting this problem

This just explains so much. I never had issue on work wifi which runs Cisco hw but problems on my Linksys and dlink at home. Ddwrt seems to be fine too. Didn't find a way to adjust ARP timeout on my Linksys or slink but this patch works.
For some of you who are working without the patch. Try this. Leave your phone in standby overnight. Bet you will wake up to gray bars since ARP will have timed out overnight. Can't be plugged in obviously.

Hello
I have this device since yestarday, And what I have noticed that battery drain is huge even when I don't use BT for smartwach, NFC, cellular internet or any other things. With very low usage battery runs out very fast.
Does anyone else have such problem with this device? is it something common?
Well i noticed that, after work around 3 p.m. i had 60% battery and now i have like 30%, very weird
I turned off double-tap-to-wake feature and I'll see if it change anything.
It's not that. It depends on the version you are running. If it's android core apps fault, then you must replace the messaging and dialing apps with some apps from play store. You can see which process is draining that much battery from checking the battery consumption in settings menu.
I have partially solved the problem by disabling double-tap feature and also the one that prevents phone from random actions in the pocket.
I have only few apps intalled and eveything that I don't use is disabled. I'm not going to root my device yet, but I will debloat it someday.
What apps may be disabled? Thanks
