Download CWM here http://goo.im/devs/jcsullins/cmtouchpad/recovery/update-CWM6_tenderloin-20121215.zip and flash it with TWRP. It will delete TWRP for you and change your default recovery.
Flash fails. Ive updated my twrp and it still fails. Any help appreciated.
Extract the file from the zip. Copy it to /boot folder... you may have to go to boot folder and first change it to RW mode (you need Root Explorer to do this because Ive never had any luck with any free file explorer being able to write to the boot folder) and also delete the uimage.TWRP file in the boot folder to make room. Then open file calleded android.default.recovery and instead of TWRP change it to ClockworkMod

cdzo is right, your boot folder is probably full, give rom Toolbox lite a try. It does work once given root privileges

[Q] where is /data/preload folder on my phone?

Hey fellas,
I need to copy a file into folder /data/preload/ .
I cannot find this folder using the root explorer. Where is it?
I know it exists (or should exist) since system gives me an error message while applying OTA updates saying that a file is missing in that folder.
I have got the file now and want to put it back.
my phone:
HTC One M7,
rooted
stock recovery
s-on
bootloader unlocked/tampered

Does anyone know?
Thanks
Could it be in the system partition?
How can I access system partition?
In TWRP recovery I see an option named "mount" when I select it only the "data" in ticked.
Should I tick "system" as well, and it will mount the system partition? If so, then i can probably use the file browser of TWRP, find the data/preload folder and copy the missing file back in place. right?
download root browser, there is a free edition from play store as soon as you open it you will see the data folder on the list, its not in system, that's a separate folder.
you will need to copy the preload folder and its contents to that folder and change the permissions of the folder and contents.
you need to be rooted to use it.

Thanks Seanie.
So by default that folder does not exist? That's why I couldn't find it then!
I created the folder via root browser. What should be the permission for folder/apk file ?
now the preload folder permissions are rwsrwsrwt and apk file permissions are rw-rw----
does it make sense or should I change permission of filder and file both to 777 or 666 ?

It does initially exist, but if you've been flashing custom rom's and recoveries, then when you clear data it gets deleted, set permissions to rw-r-r- for the apk's etc and rwxr-xr-x for the folder

[Q] root "doesn't" work

Some days ago I installed a signed-flashable-prerooted zip to upgrade to Lollipop (14.5.A.0.242). I completely followed the steps, I wiped the cache, the Dalvik/ART cache and data. All went fine during the installation and so on.
Afterwards I installed Titanium Backup to remove the bloatware, but instead of completely removing the selected apps they seem to be unaffected, but when clicked on them they started and closed in a matter of seconds. The ES File Explorer doesn't seem to properly as well. For example, I can't delete the bootanimation.zip to replace it with my own.
Might there be any fix to it?

[q] system/media/audio/ui copy failed problem on SOAK 6.0

Hi,
there is a problem with my rooted 6.0 soak. Wanted to change system ui sounds and I can't.
I tried to copy some files do media/audio/ui in R/O and R/W mode using Root explorer and it says that copy failed. I also tried to rename those files (like old_sound) that fails too. Then I tried to flash zip file via recovery - nothing changes.
Any solutions?
