xda vs htc

i looked around the forum and even asked in a different thread but unfortunately i didn't get an answer. so here i go again :
would a htc back cover fit a xda body? im asking this because i am considering buying a xda but want the original "diamond" looks plus a better battery. thx for the replies

What xda are you referring to? Any links or pictures?

As you can see at these pictures I don't think that this will fit, even I think theres nothing more space for battery!!

I think there are only 2 models of Diamond, as you can see in service manual.

well actually , judging by this picture , i would say that it fits . it looks pretty much the same to me...

actually, the back cover is the lower part, not the upper one.

one is htc touch diamond and the other one which is thicker is HTC Raphael (Htc touch diamond with a Keyboard slide ) this u can just make the difference with seeing the both sizes in the picture the one thicker has keyboard slide. This version has also place to upgrade up to 16 GB memory card.

Actually you're wrong.. The Raphael is thinker than the phone in that image..
That should be XTC Diamond from O2. The back cover is flat, and dot diamond shaped.. It would look that it would fit, and in theory it might, but what makes me doubt it is the corners in HTC model.. To make sure, someone will have to check the O2 version in real-life..
Other than that there's no way to be sure.. But we can always hope, can't we?

I have to say that the covers are not compatible. I have the original HTC Diamond and a friend of mine the XDA from O2. The back covers can not be exchanged, sorry.

Based on the the Bruce and Polkadots walls it looks like you have stumbled across my Picasa account or my post in the vibrant forum, because those are both my edits.
If you have access to my Picasa why not just share that, if you dont then there are plenty more like those above. Most of them are Black and White and heavy on the black side. The link is for my hot girls folder, but there are several other folder in the main account.

Asus Official TransCover

On the Asus official website they have pictures of an official origami folding TransCover case (their name). I always loved the original transleeve case on my prime and now on my infinity. However, when you go to the Asus shop it is not listed. Anyone seen one of these, I'd love to get one?

I've read opinions about it. People called it as rag, dishrag.

I ordered one from Amazon.de gonna ship in a few weeks according to seller. Will post I've I get it.

I was looking for one ages ago for my TF700 but nowhere seemed to sell them, so I went for a Versasleeve X instead. Never looked back...
[EDIT:] Oh, and it still fits the TF701t with or without dock

Well I finally tracked one of the official Asus transcovers down on Amazon.co.uk. It was expensive but worth it
It's basically a transleeve but with a full translucent back as well. It has magnets so that the screen auto turns on and off when opening and closing, I'm very pleased with it. Plus you get the 2 way folding origami stand.

I have it for the TF700T and it is catching dust since I have the dock, so I am interested too.

How does it attach to the tablet?

You can't use the dock at the same time no.
It attaches via the whole back side clear case. No hinge clips.

Yes and no. I tried it on my TF700 and it fits into the case but you can't power on or off and volume is covered.

Cost me about 40 quid, and it's very good, offers protection front and back. Downsides are you can't use it with the dock and it is very difficult to remove.

Non wallet card case ???

Hi all. I have searched high and low but I can't find a case that will hold a credit card that isn't a wallet case. Has anyone found anything that will suit? Cheers

yes i used bundle box, didnt work out too bad thanks for the recommendation
i uploaded the pics via a dropbox link but i guess thats not allowed

Quick review of case
Leather card bit feels really nice, smooth touch yet grippy so far less likely to drop the phone
The plastic case is very slight so doesn't add bulk, but minimum protection from drops
IR blaster isn't covered so that still works which is a bonus
Overall really pleased so will put my clear case into retirement
I have been quite disappointed with case selection compared to previous devices (iphone 5, galaxy S3)
This is the only part of M8 i have been let down with so far
