I think the best is to make a backup with clockwork or titanium backup first! Chek if you can connect with kies to make a backup on your comp.
After download the firmware and odin, put the phone in download mod and get started on odin. After do a dalvic wipe. And i think you ar good to go! Your phone be normal.
If want to void warranty use triangle ave!!

hey guys...it's me again
am sorry bothering you but another problem have came on,you see I can't live -as many of you- without rooting my phone and I make my searches and saw the rooting with odin thing but I have a problem...my connection is very slow and I can't download a 500mb I mean come on!!! and I also don't want to lose my datas and apps,so here is my question:
Is there is any method to root my phone without downloading that pre-rootrd rom?
,I will be very appreciate full for the one who can help me
ohh,one more thing: thanx for being interested and continue reading my post till the end
am afraid there are no ways at present to root without odin - just wait now that we have a custom recovery - chances are that we might see flashable zip root methods soon

Need help in Rooting

Hi Geeks,
I am having limited knowledge in phone OS and computers, I downloaded the Rooting files from Designgears but when I run the oneclick.exe file it fails. Is that still the same process to root, I am not exactly getting what process should I follow to root my AT&T Note 3, I have rooted Note 2 before but that was really eary, this looks like to many things to do before rooting and that to it doesn't work. Appreciate if one of you can help me and provide me the best link to download proper root softwares and procedure. Thank you.
Regards,
Rankitt

Did you follow all the steps as listed? By any chance did your phone take the recent update from AT&T? If it did, the the RDLV method won't work to root your phone.

Others have claimed to be able to root the new update with Kingo. You can give that a shot but proceed with caution, as there have been concerns about it's security. Read twice and root once basically :good:

As you followed a guide that just ripped DooMLoRD's work from XDA, you most probably flashed the wrong kernel for your firmware, which is the cause of your problem.
Get the correct kernel from here, which is the source of the guide and files that website is using.
thanks for reply plz stick with me for a sec plz

Please can I know something. Have you done something with your SP? If you have, please tell me what you have currently done. If you don't, tell me that you haven't done anything.

So you have unlocked a bootloader. Could you please tell me what method did you used to unlocked your bootloader? Did you use FlashTool or the "fastboot" command in adb?
And based on your first post, I have to say that you have lost your DRM keys. Without DRM keys Bravia Engine won't work.

I can't really give a suggestion. "Best ROM" depends on personal preferences. Since I am currently using CM11, I must say it works really great on my device. However, some people face problem with it such as being it laggy and everything. I hope you won't face the same thing.
Actually I have a guide that will solve your problem.
BUT BEFORE THAT please read everything there. Please follow the requirements. You may ignore any bootloader-related points. Since your bootloader is unlocked, you can skip guide number 1, and directly proceed to the section "Fastbooting DoomLord's kernel" in guide number 2. Then proceed normally afterwards. Get a CM M10 snapshot here. Psst, M11 is getting near!
Now you may go to the guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-sp/general/guide-flashing-custom-roms-ultimate-xsp-t2888579
in order to downgrade , should i just follow 1b ??

Yes if you want to downgrade you may just and only follow 1b. However needless to say, if your bootloader is unlocked, there's no more need to backup your TA partition

Your problem might have be something to do with APN. Just contact your service provider, and get an internet configuration. That will work for you
In Stock SONY, there is an-already method that will fetch internet config. Sadly there's no such thing in custom ROMs.
Or to make matters difficult, you can find someone with the same service provider like you, open their phone's settings, find "APN" in Mobile Networks, and copy all settings hand-by-hand to your phone.

how should i back to stock ?

hello everyone
i have a rooted n960f device with the alexndr ROM , since iwant to sell the device i want to unroot it and back to stock .
unfortunately when i trying to flash the stock with ODIN my device boot up without IMEI.
in order to fix that i need to ROOT the device again install TWRP and than install te ALEXNDR rom again.
these is the only way to get the Signal again .
do you have any idea how i can back my device to stock ?
thanks
guys ?
any idea?
please
You most likely just need to flash the correct firmware for your device and you do know there is no way to make the device stock again after rooting, right?

It's not a matter of you don't tell me, i don't know.!
It's a "matter" that before you root your device, to familiarize yourself, regarding the pro's and cons
of rooting.
To do research and then if you don't understand or want guidance regarding a particular issue /
"problem" then ask.!
Bottom line is....
no use asking afterwards if you didn't do your "homework" before.!
Good luck.
