Given your expressed purpose (which is unethical and strictly against the forum rules) I'm not really interested in helping you anyhow. This is a developer forum, not a pirate forum. We *make* those apps and games, and for some of us, our income depends on them.

A forceful and direct response to an absurd question. I Like it.

i am sorry

peter
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1340276&postcount=1 is the only one I know of. It's a pre-release device, so many of the tools are not tested / modified for the device yet.
Gordon
How exactly did you get this from the uk and where from?!
lol I'd be very happy if you told me..
Pardon for attempting to thread jacking ... but since we're on the topic of "unlocking" ...
May I ask "Howto" regarding "APP UNLOCKING" on the Kaiser ?? do we still go ahead using the __>> SDA_ApplicationUnlock that's floating around ??
Thanks

Before you unlock your kaiser I would suggest waiting for a kaiser verified unlocking tool to use. I'm kind of new to this community but I think it's better SAFE than sorry when dealing with possibly bricking your phone.

Thank you for the kind advice
I think it quite safe when dealing with APP UNLOCKING ( worse that can happen you can always hard reset.
now, CID/SIM unlocking ( like the thread topic ) is a whole different ball game.
again ... Thanks
For how much ?
Hi Peter,
Congrats on ur new Kaiser, for how much did u get it ?
Thanks,

Cheers ......I think people have took pity on me ....... They have looked at your response and sent me emails on how to change it. ...
To be honest answer yes without sharing or passing on a help link is not helpful .... ... Based on the emails from forum members it must be your usual response
Care to share the answer, anyone?
Currently there is not yet a way to change this with WP8 devices. On WP7 you were able to change this using CustomROMs or by flashing an unbranded Stock ROM. Given how new the devices are we haven't yet found ways to unlock them and flash CustomROMs. At least I don't know yet wether you can flash an unbranded ROM - with HTCs newer Android devices that was not possible but all WP7 devices were able to do that.
So in short: not yet but I guess we'll find out soon.

[Q] Nokia Lumia 930 Tools?

Hi guys,
I just converted to Windows phone platform as I previously used a LG G3 Andorid device. I used xda developers alot to Mod my device such as Root Access, Unlock Bootloader, Custom Recovery and install Roms and Kernels.
My question is - Is there the same sort of things for the Windows phone? This forum for Windows 8 isn't as straight forward due to different devices that are all in the one forum " Windows Phone 8 Development and Hacking "..
Could someone point me in the right direction where I may use some developer tools to unlock bootloader etc or install kernels to MOD my Lumia 930? Or is there such thing?
Hope I can get a response...
Thanks in Advanced!
Anything? These threas doesn't get acknowledged much as androids

It's not about the attention these forums get, it's more about all the guys are literally tired answering questions like these ( no pun intended ) .
So basically for now it's a "NO" for all your questions, you can't unlock ( i mean filesystem access ) your phone, and surely can't modify the bootloader, in this aspect WP is not like Android, it's focused on security ( enterprise in mind ).
For more on your question please refer to this thread > The first thread in "Windows Phone 8 Development and Hacking, literally "
Also, as per the rules, please don't bump your thread more than once per 24 hours. 12 hours may seem like a long time to wait for an answer but it's still annoying when people do that. The WP community is a lot smaller than the Android community. On the other hand, as VSparxx points out, you could have had your answer easily with a little research. Currently, hacks for WP8 devices without SD cards are extremely limited. Samsung and Huawei have sort-of-custom ROMs (only limited modifications possible); HTC and Nokia don't even have that.

The future of the root possibilities

hi !
i own a LG G4 (h815)
i have a very big and important question to @Chainfire and all others hack devellopers :
I know that it's impossible at this time to root a locked bootloader with MM 6.0 firmware ... everybody here says so ....
But there are one chance "one day" to have this possibility ???
what's the limit of hack for rooting on Android devellopment ? can we keep the hope or it's a fight definitively lost ?
It's strange to have root possibilities on LP 5.X with locked bootloader ...and this MM no ...
.......... for the future ,if the manufacturers, for security reasons , will make the "politic" decision to firmly prohibit to unlock theirs bootloaders...with only have MM 6.0 firmwares (and future higher ) for newest devices ????? it's the end of Android development ??? ( but just only rare unofficial methods with very very hight technical risk of hard-brick ! )

You need to amend much about what you "know". Look around a couple of the sticky threads.

i just ask question .......and i feel an agressive and mocking tone in you ...
In place ,you should show me examples of "sticky threads" here ,where it concretely speak about ( without many technicals words ) in summary .
because i only see : "not possible..... no.... protected system......etc ...."
before my question ,i have read Chainfire pined threads on this section and it seem that it need to have unlocked bootloader for that ( ??? ) and the solution of root in this case was already found .

Well, part of his snark probably stems from the fact that your original post says

I assume you meant "locked". A confusing typo.
Also, it seems that you have done very, very little research towards answering your own question, and your question is rather common.
Apologies if this post seems callous, but your question is similar to a boy just learning to dribble a basketball and then assuming he Michael Jordan would be interested in answering his amateur-level questions. Questions that could be answered if you just kept dribbling & practicing on your own...
Also, habits like "???" do not instill a sense of maturity.

yes... my fault for this very bad "typing error" ! ==> i want to say 'locked bootloader" ,sorry .........
Excuse me but everybody here only say that it's "impossible" without never really explain why ! that's why i have asked my simple question for to "take stock" .
i'm not "immature" too ,you don't have to give lesson ...and you can't judge a person with 3 sentences !
i really begin to believe that XDA is an "inhuman" forum ,sometime pretentious ,not humble & tolerant , reserved for big "geeks" ( its : "learn yourself or shut up" ! ) ...and all that is not the spirit at all of "sharing" comunauties and open source ...but fortunately i meet "some" good members and some good "recognized devellopers & contributors" here .

Hey, I am a noob around here, which means you will not see me asking any questions for at least a year or two, because most noob answers have been asked and answered hundreds of times. There is a looot of info about what exactly a looked bootloader hinders, and there are already established ways around this. Lots of things to read...
I could be nicer while you could be more self-reliant and resourceful. We both can improve. Off we go!
Good luck!

but it's depending how is the question ...
i don't have asked "how to root MM with locked bootloader" because yes ...... there are many theads and others who speak about ......
but if persons with big knowledges like Chainfire (one of the king of hack and programation) , and with MM security coding build and this known verification of system integrity (between bootloader & this MM ) ==> there will NEVER have way to bypass this one because definitively impossible to change anything because strict conditions for to have an Android working.........or if these persons have seen some breach at this time and need more or less work ......or if they have abandoned researches ...
My question is legitim ( and not "stupid" ) because in the life there are computer (linux&windows ) securities who are impossible to "hack" ...
I'm still not sure I understand what the question actually was so I'll just leave this here:
you have big chance to have an easy bootloader unlock way for NEXUS ...because on Lg G4 with official tool, it break the waranty !!! in case of problem : goodbye !
I just hope so much a miracle for a root of MM 6 with bootloader locked ! some people can't unlock it .....and @Chainfire for example may do it ,i think... i pray .

My point is that bootloader state is not relevant to root access. The bootloader on my phone has not been unlocked in over a year.
Good luck in whatever it is you're looking for. I will leave you in peace.
yes ,it seem that the problem is only for LG MM build and his sh** of bootloader ....
and yes ! peace & love !
just want the best and full possibilities for our Android phones...it's the aim of xda in theory .
excuse me again for typing error with "locked/unlocked" whk give big confusion ...

[Help ! / Scared / Ready to pay] Restored a backup from TWRP and forgot to read

So , hi everyone and thanks for the future people who will help me , also i'm french so sorry if my english is bad i don't use google trad just english lessons ?
I'm gonna explain what i did :
I got my brand new OP3T like last Tuesday was happy to finally try it out and root it to get some app's that require root , i followed carefully and everything went fine ! Yey ( using stock rom )
I did a backup as advised .
had some issues with some app that was saying no root access even if on SuperSU it was granted so i decided to restore the backup .
BUT when i tried to restore it was saying something about " system modifications not allowed please take it ON "
So i allowed system modifications ( by swapping )
BUT i remember from the rooting tutorial + TWRP that instruction
Code:
At this point, you will reach the screen asking you if you want to allow system modifications.
By swiping right, you will trigger dm-verity, and if you don't follow the next step you will be unable to boot!
If you are going to root your device and follow the rest of these steps, then it is safe to swipe right and enable modifications.
So now , i'm locked at the One Plus logo with Powered by android , and tbh i'm pretty scared it's my only phone and i use it everyday and i need it everyday , i'm ready to stay awake for the next 6 hours if someone could help me , i'm ready to pay a few bucks on paypal to say thank you , i really REALLY need help !
( I'm able to access recovery mode ( TWRP one )
Thank you !
Flash supersu via twrp and should be OK

Glad it is fixed. It happens with almost everyone when they start rooting. Anyway! If you want to donate maybe you should buy SuperSu pro from play store which is by the programmer of SuperSu. As a token of appreciation for giving us those apps and fixes. :good:
