Problem is you formatted modem. Download one of our sbf files, unzip, open the .XML file, open a command prompt/terminal in the folder with the .XML file and type the line from the XML that contains the word modem. It should look something like "fastboot flash modem modem.IMG" but I don't know the modem.img's actual name.

Well I think the process is:
- Download the file
- Copy to SDcard/Phonememory
- Use RootExplorer to move the file to folder "persist" (it's in root of phone)
- Setting permission (see screenshot)
- Restart.

You have to install the radio.apk on your internal storage. To do this copy your file via root explorer into /system/app.
Then you choose the apk by tapping it for some seconds.

A new window appears and you have to choose permissions.
Now you put ticks in the first two spots in the first line, in the first spot of the second line and in the first spot of the third line. The other spots have to be empty. Should look like this:
Then you have to reboot. You don't have to install the app. Just reboot and the app will be installed after the next reboot

Even after all these years later....as long as you have a compatble fmradio.apk working chipset and root? This method STILL works.... up to android 10 anyways. Haven't tested 11
It just doesn't install otherwise....you bloody well need root to run this system app
Just replace SystemUI.apk in System\app\SystemUI.apk. But don't forget backup the original.

You will have to unzip the contents of the zip file and then transfer them to the device. I f you downloaded the file from the website on the device itself then use an app like AndroZip File Manager[/URL]

Got this one from the nexus 7 forum. It works, however, it'll override the transparent status bar on pa 2.14 and up. Flash with cwm or twrp. It might give you some virus/malware warning during the flash but my tab is fine.

Please help me to decompile SystemUI.apk, I tried to put the notification bar transparent modifying this line of XML systemUI:
changing: android: id = "@ id / notification_panel" android: background = "@ drawable / notification_panel_bg" to "# 00000000" and soon after recompiling the APK tool nothing happens, it seems that the signature changes and my systemui is corrupted why the notification bar disappears.
Can someone teach me the correct way to decompile/compile system applications? Wanted it to be so.

When you use apk-tools you could do a compile system app, it copies good signatures automatically
Whatever, if you want to copy the good signature, open your apk with winrar or 7zip, then open the original apk.
Drag and Drop the Folder META-INF and the file manifest.xml from the original apk to the new compiled apk.
And it's over

I use the tools apk modified by Madninj (think is asim who writes their nickname)
But anyway, thank you for explaining, and I've tried previously with apktool and it did not work, I'll try with 7zip.

If it's too slow for you just change the fps in desc.txt but it should be ok
And before downloading, backup your previous boot animation by renaming it from htc_bootanimation.zip to htc_bootanimation.old
Instructions (htc rom)
1) Download the boot animation (rename it to htc_bootanimation.zip if needed)
2) Download root explorer
3) Open root explorer
4) Browse to system/customise/resource
5) Rename htc_bootanimation.zip to htc_bootanimation.old
6) Browse to the location you have saved the file
7) Copy the file to system/customize/resource
8) Make sure the permissions is set to rw r r
9) Reboot

If you're running a deodexed rom you can manually replace the .png file in "SystemUI.apk" (located in /system/priv-app/) or "framework-res.apk" (located in /system/framework/). I'm not exactly sure which of these 2 files contains the .png file('s) you're looking for, so give it a shot!

Tnx mate I do remember someone post by editing the build prop but then seems like I cannot find where it is.
Its not the build.prop
SystemUI.apk and framework-re.apk
SystemUI.apk is in system/app and framework-res.apk is in system/framework
You can pull them to your PC and then open them with WinRAR (Or similar) and find the .pngs which you can just change
They will be in the res folder.
