is anyone that is running CM11 have an issue with changing the Data Usage Cycle start date?
The only option I get is the current cyce. No "Change start date" option.
Running latest nightly (12/20) with included kernel.
Thanks..

OK.. That was weird.. I got it working.
Had to manually delete all the files in /data/system/netstats then turn off WiFi and wait for a 4g connection.
Tried it when I was on 3g, but didn't work.
Follow up...
Does the 4g toggle work for anyone?

OK, back to same issue..
Doesn't show me any usage but WiFi..
When on 4g, I still only get WiFi usage.
Can someone else confirm this works or doesn't work?

I was doing a Google search for this and ended up on this forum. I'm running CM11 on a Sprint Optimus G (LS970) and cannot seem to get any stats on data usage except for WiFi. I'm on the 1/16/14 nightly. I thought perhaps if I turned WiFi off, it'd show cell data usage, but no dice.
Is this a bug or expected behavior?

So i have had the phone for a couple of days and recently i have been having connection problems. My data will stop working even though i have bars and the 4g lte sign is up. I have to restart my phone to get my data back connected. Not even going to settings and turning the data toggle on and off works. Any ideas

Id call att for now and see what they say...
Toggle Airplane Mode. Works for me. I have the same issue.
airplane doesn't works all times.. i prefer suspend the phone for a few seconds..
Are you using any smart actions that affect your data connection? I had the same problem before I realized that the phone automatically turned off data when connected to WiFi. I had set up a smart action to do it as well, which I think confused the device and wouldn't connect to 4G. I had to factory reset to fix it. Left smart actions out of the loop, and haven't had a problem since.
Deep rooted in the mAtrix HD...
http://android-gz.com
Yea i tried the airplane mode and nothing. I had smart actions on but then i turned them off and still have yhe problems. I think im just going to factory reset and see if it fixes the problem. The problem usually happens when im at school where in my classes i get no reception. And after class i get the bars but still wont get data and then i restart my phone and then i get the flood of notifications.

This is exactly what happens to me..
could also be lte problems... as att deploys new towers and works on em sometimes you'll have problems for no reason... which is why i would try to call att or do a factory reset, is all i can think of
I had to factory reset my atrix. I dont use the smart actions anymore and that solved my problem

Yea, I stopped using also the smart actions as they seems more stupid than smart
I will have to disagree with you, once setup properly the smart actions are great. Never had a single issue with connectivity.

Hey,
Two days ago my phone started to turn off the wifi connection when the screen is locked. Sometimes I even have to restart the phone to get the connection back to work.
It does not happen to the 3g connection.
I have checked all apps if any of them are causing the problems in their settings. And I don't use any battery saver apps.
Anyone had the same problems?

You've checked that the "turn off wi-fi when screen is off"-option in advanced Wi-Fi settings is set to "Never"?

The ROM is smooth. Only one consistent issue I am facing is the 3g getting connectivity getting lost frequently. So the bars with "H" turn grey after some time. The only way to overcome this issue seems to be to reboot the phone. Please advise a fix.

Yea, I've had that problem occasionally. I just turn on Airplane mode and turn it off again to get the 3G going.
Thanks that helps. A related issue is with the portable WiFi hotspot. It works probably 1 out of 10 times. While hotspot is connected, if the 3g connectivity is lost then hotspot can't be reconnected (manually). When 3g is back and I restart hotspot, it just closes itself. So can't get hotspot working. I try repeatedly but can't get hotspot back up. 3g is on and blue but hotspot won't connect.
Any suggestions how to get hotspot stable?

Wiped all including sdcard, repartitioned with 4ext and did a reinstall. Issues:
1. 3g is very unstable. Loses connectivity often and won't reconnect until reboot. Even turning airport mode on and off doesn't get 3g back up.
2. Tither almost doesn't work at all. Even rebooting doesn't fix issue. The WiFi hotspot turns itself off as soon as its turned on.

Does not work. In the app it says "started with errors" in the log.

hello, i don't know how but i solved this by checking in the system options, under quick option panel options (the one with profile picture and tiles) the "2g/only 3g" toggle option for the tile button, that solved the 3g unstability and wifi hotspot.........
that's odd...
Is anyone getting the wifi problems that the other versions of the Note 3 are getting? Preferably when it says the network was disconnected for being too slow or something like that? I know it happens on the T-Mobile, Verizon, and International versions.

Mine doesn't disconnect but it says wifi signal is unstable, then I looked in settings when this happens and it says wifi signal strength VERY STRONG, I'm sitting 10' from my router and I know damn well the the signal is strong as it says 72mbps. Lots of issues with wifi signals are popping up in the N3 sections, not good.
Yep, same as Quickvic30

Go to wifi advanced settings and uncheck Auto Network Switch. It appears the phone will "test" the speed of the wifi network to your 4g and picks which is faster.

Hey all,
I realized that the wireless issues were all where there are at least access points broadcasting the same network. The signal indicator flickers back and forth between solid and weak, and I think the wireless manager is jumping back and forth instead of sticking with the stronger one. I installed one"WiFi Manager" from Play store and the connection is more solid. I haven't rooted my device yet, so this may be the best answer until a patch shows up.
Let me know if it works,

Hello I was having this problem I had to remove my ad stop program and everything starting working normal again adblockplus to be exact but that fixed issues with mms messages and the wifi.
Yes- nothing but problems with wifi dropping and reporting as slow/unstable. Rooted on AT&T MI1. Various AP's, not specific to any one location. Basically renders wifi useless.

Yall- this issue has been bugging the hell out of me. Finally tried something I found buried in a few other forums that immediately fixed the spotty connect/disconnect and wifi data stalling errors.
Enter into the service configuration mode by dialing *#0011# and hit the menu key- touch "wifi" and turn off "wifi power saving". Reboot. After having tried everything else I was skeptical but I can confirm (in my case) it worked like a charm!
Hope it helps someone else.

I've been using that method for most of the day, and I've noticed some good results with WiFi. Unsure how it's going to affect battery life yet though lol
auto-network switch
I didn't have to reboot, but disabling the auto network switch did help. I kept getting the 'unstable messages', and I finally had to click the "don't show this again" button and hit 'cancel' so that the OS would stop trying to help my be re-enabling the auto network switch. So, the question is, is this just #LTE2fastprobs, or are there real wireless n/ac issues that make this phone less than desirable?

I accidently turned off my browser bar when a pop-up intruded an email I was typing. I have no idea what the browser bar setting is but I cannot connect to any wifi network now. So I open up settings and clicked on the browser bar tab and it fc's settings every time. I tried a reboot, and clearing cache in recovery but it still won't let me turn the browser bar on. Any ideas here?
Not that I was at all impressed with the wifi capabilities on this device. My connectivity has been nothing short of pathetic and I've followed every rumored fix to no avail. I think I'm ready to try a factory data reset before my 14 days are up.
Again, any help is appreciated.

It's very strange that the browser bar would have any effect on wifi connectivity to begin with. I've had it disabled for a while and haven't had any wifi problems.
Samsung has a bunch of performance/bug issues they seriously need to iron out. It's almost like they don't beta test these devices before they churn them out.
