Hey guys. First of all sorry if this has been answered already but I've been searching for an hour now and haven't been able to disable CRT-off effect. So I'm on an HTC One. I'm on InsertCoin 7.06. I'm pretty sure when I first flashed the rom it gave me the option to turn it on or off and I chose to turn it on. But now I just wanna turn it off and I'm trying to look for a better way than re-flashing and not choosing that option lol. I've tried everything I read : XBlast, Sense5 Toolbox, and turning off window animations in developer options. None of which are working. So if anyone has an idea or can point me in the right direction, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks!
Use the kustomizer flashable zip, you can change all your mods with that

But honestly, I don't have a clue how to apply this. Can't get a grip on this UOT thingy. Can I simply flash .zip from Infernoken? Or do I have to put the files in my ARHD-Release replacing the current files and flash ARHD again?
It would be really nice to simply have a .zip that applies sloppy or Infernoken's custom values (as they seem to be slightly better).

-CM9: Why there aren`t some options that in other ROMs are still exist for example AOKP? For example the option to change the lockscreen is not there yet
-AOKP: Every time i go to the option to edit the Lockscreen i get a FC of Rom-Control......why?
-From were i can find the Rom-Control.apk? Can i install it on every AOKP-Rom?

I can't answer CM9 queries I haven't been on it yet, that is more of a feature request that you need to take up with them..
AOKP: What do you mean edit the lockscreen? Do you mean the wallpaper? That is now fixed, download the latest from my sig below.
Rom control should already be on every AOKP rom, so you shouldn't have to install it.
However if you still want it, it's located at /system/app

I really don`t understand the thing with CM9. I love Cyanogenmod but i want more customizable options that are included in AOKP
I just re-read the lockscreen thing for CM9. Are you sure it isn't there settings/security/screen lock
I think you need to re-flash AOKP possibly with wipe. But use titanium backup (seems to be more through sometimes) or via manage apps, find rom control and clear data. Hopefully that works otherwise you will possibly have to reflash.
Im using the lockscreen options on my phone right now, so it must just be your phone.
I'm currently using SlimBean beta-2 official. I don want the CRT-animation when the display powers down. Is there any way to replace it with the normal stock animation ?? Please help.
Well, I am not quite sure about it
but there's a system apk called TvOut.apk which (I think) is related to the CRT animation effect, try to back it up and uninstall from Titanium and reboot and see what happens

You can try the Xposed mode from ARHD Sense 5 Toolbox 2.7.1, or some other mod...
Look to other Dev threads.
I realy like to ViperOne and you should try it, very customizable
I´ve looked in Sense toolbox and xposed but seems i can´t locate a specific tweak for this. If anyone can point me to the right direction. Thanks!

So the only option is move to ViperOne
I dont like to have to many options. I like the stock look and options.
I installed latest viper ROM. The lock screen initially was 3 way unlock. With some changes it became round unlock with no application tray. Now I cannot go back. Can someone please help? I am very new to ROM.
You probably set the lockscreen to AOSP. Go to Viper Settings and you should be able to get it back to stock.
The ViperROM is very customizable, so you have to be cautious. But it's one of the greatest ROMs I know of. (used to run it on my EVO LTE)
