Issue with CM 10.2 and Carbon with 4.3 - Nook HD, HD+ Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello All:
I flashed the Carbon mod with Android 4.3 to my HD+ that I had previously been using CM 10.1. I was able to play NFS Most Wanted on the 10.1 but wasn't able to on carbon. Every time that I ran the game it would shut off right after checking for updates. I then thought maybe it was an issue with the Carbon mod so I flashed CM 10.2 right after I cleared /data. It is doing the exact same thing with 10.2. It looks like people with other modded devices are able to use it with Android 4.3 so I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing this with the 4.3 mods on the HD+ and hoping that someone may have a solution.
Thanks in advance

If you actually want CM10 which was JellyBean 4.0, then the answer is no.
But there are weekly releases of Cyanogenmod 10.1, 10.2 and 11 (Android 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4 respectively) are available from the FreeXperia folks (this is the team that contributes Sony device updates to Cyanogenmod). The FXP3xx code is just means year 3, week XX. So this weeks is FXP311
Links to each of them are a their site: http://fxpblog.co/qualcomm-krait-200-family-2nd-gen/sony-xperia-sp/
I also would expect get.cm to start serving official nightlies for CM11 relatively soon. They have a website, but no builds yet: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_huashan
For now stick with CM10.2. CM11 is not real stable.
CM11
now CM11
yes..
there are several CyanogenMod available for Xperia SP..
CM 10.1, 10.2 , 11..
For CM 11 you have to unlock your bootloader but for 10.2 there is a method by which u can install this on locked bootloader...
check this .

I really love cm but. My phone sp can only take 4.1.2. That's why I want cm 10 (4.1.2). My screen is flickering every sec like a pulse with any of 4.2 4.3and 4.4 roms. I have tried many Roms and different kernels. And many cm versions. Only 4.1.2 works perfect

Actually he has a point. Our Xperia SP came with a pretty stable 4.1.2 Rom so wouldnt a cm10 Rom be the most stable?
Cm10.2 and above has battery and heating issues which aren't present on 4.1.2 stock.

CM10 - pre 4.2.2?

I need to get my HD+ paired with an ion iCade. I've read that 4.2.2 Jelly Bean dropped support for a lot of Bluetooth devices. Since, unfortunately, there is no CM9 for the HD+ is there a build of CM10 equivalent to 4.1.2? Or anything earlier than 4.2.2 please? Also if I could install it as per the instructions by leapinlar then I'd be delighted! Thanks for any help!

CM 12.1 or CM 11?

I've been using CM 11 and I like it so far even though there are a few quirks here and there. Having said this, would you suggest getting CM 12.1? The reason I'm using CM 11 is because I like the KitKat interface better than Lollipop, but if CM 12.1 is offering better performance, then I will definitely get it. I find it strange that there aren't any milestone versions for CM 12.1 for the phone.
maybe you should wait a bit, because der isn't any milestone CM12.1 out there no matter on which device. CM11 was the last version that got a milestone.

Thanks for your reply. How long do you think it will take to get a milestone? Hope it comes out before the actual Lollipop 5.1 releases for my phone...

XPosed on Nook HD+ CM12.1

so i recently updated to the latest CM12.1 and it is running much smoother than when i flashed it pack in april (thank you amaces et al). i have been running the latest update for a few days and decided to see if xposed was available. so it seems that its available for 5.1 but damn it is a huge mess. i cant seem to find any info on running it on an HD+. anyone here get it running? if so would you care to shine some light? thanks in advance for any and all help.

Most stable ROM?

Hi,
I use Nook HD+ in my workplace only because its the tablet with no camera. I currently have CM10 and looking to update it to CM11 or 12 but not sure which version is the most stable. I don't care about the fancy features, just need no-lag and no crashes.
Which ROM and version (nightly/snapshot?) should I go for?
Thanks
Latest CM 11 nightlies is the most stable (in my opinion, of course). Tested it on my HD and HD+, my choice for both devices. Get it here for your HD+: https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=ovation
Mokee

Pacman ROM has been great for me. CM worked OK until I tried some of the unofficial Lollipop versions. I haven't tried Mokee, but pacman incorporates features from it.

I've used Tesamek's CM11.0 ROM for a long time without many problems. The display does flicker every now and then. Currently trying the CM13.0 ROM.
