Why dont u try Revolutionary S-off to properly lock your handset and also remove the relocked flag. I hope this might help. And are you still on stock rom ?
Re-Unlock your bootloader, security warning is a warning for say you that you aren't in stock rom.
You can relock your bootloader only if you're are stock...
Use revolutionary soff to set the bootloader as locked and remove the tampered flag.

If you are S-Off it should not matter if your bootloader is locked or not. In fact your bootloader should stay unlocked. That's the whole point of being S_Off!
As long as you have a compatible (correct model ID) RUU installed and CID 11111111, you should be able to fastboot oem flash any RUU or OTA (that is correct for your base rom).
Otherwise S-Off is not working correctly. Read up on S-Off and what it really means for your device.
Having said that - a lot has changed in these new devices so research thoroughly!!!!!!

I have a nandroid back up from which i rstored my stock ROM and relocked the bootloader. after that when i checked for software updates i got an update viz. 1.29.707.17,i downloaded it,and while trying to install it bootloader gives the following message TAMPERED>RELOCKED> Seurity Warning >M7_U PVT SHIP S-ON RH>HBOOT-1.44.0000...eMMC-boot....Installing revolutionary can solve this? ie. can i install the OTA update and use it with stock? One more thing is there any source to get the RUU_M7_U_JB_50_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.29.707.4_R_Radio_4A.14.3250.13_10.33.1150.01_release_ 166754_signed_2_4 [i have downloaded this in zip format, but i think flashing it via CWM won't clear the tampered flag/ security warning]
Thanks in Advance.

Go here and follow the guide in the OP: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2314582
Do all the steps and initialize revone, then type ./revone -l -t (-l locks the bootloader and -t removes the tampered flag)

I have a similar problem after trying to relock the phone with the latest Revolutionary HD ROM.
I have the *** TAMPERED ***, *** RELOCKED *** and *** Security warning *** message as well and cant' seem to get out of Fastboot mode - everything I try reboots me back in to it.
I have tried going the revone route, but cannot get it installed. Whilst 'Fastboot devices' brings it up, 'adb devices' doesn't recognise the phone.
I've updated the HTC sync drivers but that doesn't appear to make any difference.
Any further suggestions? Thanks.
I relocked my HTC One, after that, I can't boot it up anymore, every time I try to boot it, It just brings me to HBOOT
And I also can't unlock it, because every time i type in fastboot oem get_identifier_token, cmd just shows me "..." and that is it.
This is what's showing on my fastboot screen
*** TAMPERED ***
*** RELOCKED ***

FASTBOOT USB
And every time I reboot the device, the *** Security Warning *** will show , but if i reboot the bootloader, then it's not there anymore.
I need help with this, I just want to unlock it now.
Sorry about my bad english.
This is how cmd looks like on my PC
fastboot oem get_identifier_token
...
and it just stuck there
I had the same issue. You get the security warning because you relocked your bootloader when being on custom rom.
Unlocking it again with HTC development will work, but I think it's your adb drivers that are messing up. Try a different use port (2.0) or an other computer.
Your phone is not bricked.

Did you removed the red warning modding the hboot???
If you did (before relocking) and then locked the device, it's probably briked. If not, then make sure to have the latest drivers and try in another computer.
See if you can update the firmware which might help you out.

hi guys
i'm trying to get my htc one back to how it was when it was in the box
on my boot screen i have these stats:
*** TAMPERED ***
*** UNLOCKED ***
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-OFF RH
CID-HTC__001
HBOOT-1.54.0000
i've managed to get it unlocked and to s-off this evening (a lot of the guides seemed to require these before being able to flash anything, including stock roms)
the thing is, i don't know where to go next. is it a case of just downloading a rom and flashing it to get stock? how do i get right of tampered and unlocked? whats an ruu? do i need to flash an ruu? or is an ruu just a rom?
i'm totally lost :/
thanks for any help you can offer
Well first of all, whoever told you that S-off was needed to flash the ROM that came with your phone is wrong. I have no idea why so many people say this. Here's what you need to do.
1. To remove the tampered flag, use this guide. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2497712
2. Now lock the bootloader. Use the same guide, but step number 7.
3. Now flash the RUU for your CID. If you don't know which one, just run this command and post the exact output here. "fastboot getvar all"
Hey guys.
So I wanted to go back to SXL Stock ROM but somewhere it went wrong.
I re-locked the bootloader or whatever it's called, and downloaded Stock ROM called:
"RUU_Runnymede_HTC_Europe_1.05.401.4_R_Radio_20.5101.30.0822_3822.10.10.12_M_release_222101_signed.exe"
After I re-locked the bootloader, it didn't boot up again, it only comes to the white screen with BOOTLOADER, REBOOT, etc etc. So I ran the .exe file and it began sending the ROM but an error occurred, error 155 I believe. Something about "Hboot is older" I think.
What do I do? I'm really newb at this and need some help.
This info at the white screen.
*** RELOCKED ***
*** Security Warning ***

[EDIT]
So I unlocked the bootloader again, and my phone restarted and my custom ROM booted again. So I got that going for me. But it's been restored, so everything's gone but that's fine with me. I just want to go back to STOCK ROM. It has Vertigo's Total Senseless v4.1.1 on it right now.
So it seems all you have to do is RELOCK the bootloader.
Find the correct RUU.exe (WHERE?)
Connect to PC, run .exe and wait for it be done, and it will be stock. That's what I've been reading on here. But I can't find correct RUU. Am I right or wrong?
I'm sorry if this has been answered before, I have done lots of searching, and have failed miserably. A few months ago I attempted to root my HTC one but was unsuccessful. Some root checkers said it was rooted, while others said it was not, including Titanium Backup and Airdroid. I received a notification that there is an update on my phone, but I'm unsure if I should try it, considering I'm using CWM recovery. When I boot my phone holding the volume down button and pressing the power button, it says: "**TAMPERED ** *** UNLOCKED*** M7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RH HBOOT-1.57.0000 RADIO-4T.28.3218.04 OpenDSP-v32.120.274.0909 OS-6.10.531.10 eMMC-boot 2048MB DEC 15 2014, 17:32:16.0000"
I tried to do the OTA update, which failed, I'm assuming because CWRM is installed. I did some searching and found an RUU tool, for lollipop which didn't work, giving me a 155 error. After doing some searching, I believe it was because my bootloader is unlocked. I also tried another RUU tool to try and get my phone back to factory status, I believe it was "RUU_M7_UL_K443_SENSE60_MR_TMOUS_6.10.531.10_Radio_4T.28.3218.04_10.33E.1718.01L_release_405711_signed_2(1)" which also failed.
After doing some searching, I found a tool called Revone, which I pushed to my phone and attempted to follow these - http://htc-one.wonderhowto.com/how-...actory-settings-for-warranty-repairs-0149204/ instructions, although it gave me an error saying "Failed to open framebuffer device". Long story short, my phone is still saying Unlocked and tampered, with S-ON..
Considering the fact that my phone was never truly rooted, should I attempt to root my phone completely, then run try the revone method again? Do I need to lock my bootloader to complete the RUU process? At this point I don't care if my phone is rooted or not. I just want to upgrade to lollipop. Any help to lock my bootloader, or remove the custom recovery, or just get lollipop loaded would be greatly appreciated. I figured I could simply download the ROM for lollipop and push it to my phone, but I'd rather have it back to stock, so I can attempt the rooting process again, and have a rooted copy of Lollipop. Thank you in advance for your help and suggestions!

Firs things first, revone will not work on your current bootloader version. Revone only works for hboot 1.44. The only method that will work for you to achieve S-OFF is sunshine, and this costs $25. There are no other current methods that work
The ERROR 155 happens when you are trying to install the wrong RUU for your phone. Can you post a fastboot gatvar all please and remove your serial no and IMEI?
You cannot flash an OTA via custom recovery, it needs to be stock recovery. I think this might be your version here >> https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95864024717072433
You could try flashing the recovery through fastboot which should give you stock ROM and try the OTA again
Bear in mind tho, if you do update to lollipop now and you have a bootloader which is RELOCKED and TAMPERED there are currently no ways to achieve S OFF at present to reset the status of the bootloader to LOCKED and remove the TAMPERED message. So if you needed your phone repaired under warranty this would be very difficult
I would suggest getting S OFF anyway
**EDIT** I would check with http://theroot.ninja/ to see if it will work on a later hboot i.e. 1.61 - I think you could achieve it, if you wanted/needed to, using a 4.4.3 stock ROM. But see what you think yourself

use this RUU http://www.htc.com/us/support/htc-one-t-mobile/news/
again relock your phone, use the manual update instructions, locked/re-locked bootloader required.
to lock the bootloader you will need to know how to use fastboot commands ??? do you ???
simple command "fastboot oem lock" without quotes, then do "fastboot reboot-bootloader" for changes to take effect, it should now say ***TAMPERED*** ***RELOCKED***, run the RUU.
This worked! Thank you so much!! The only reason I wanted to root my phone was to use Airdroid and Whatsapp, to message from my computer, turns out they have a new feature which doesn't require root, so I'm all done!! Thank you so much for your help!

if you do want to root now you've updated, its very easy, just unlock your bootloader again at HTC Dev, flash TWRP recovery 2.8.5.0 from here: http://techerrata.com/file/twrp2/m7/openrecovery-twrp-2.8.5.0-m7.img
once done, put this zip on your internal storage and flash it from twrp recovery: http://download.chainfire.eu/696/SuperSU
reboot your phone when flashed, open supersu from the app drawer and update the binary if required, when asked, select TWRP method not normal.
anytime you want to return to full stock again, like to receive newer updates, just flash the RUU again as per my last post instructions.
