Dear all,
I used to have sg2 the screen touch sensitivity was great; but with the p880 i with my screen I think is not correct.
The touch bottons back and menu are not shine like home, and sometimes the touch is not really accurate when i press. I try to calibrate the screen with NSR (nook screen recalibrate) without results, also try the hidden menu test and is a little laagy for the touch.
i flash cm the same results, reflash the jb and the same.
Maybe some tweak, will fix the problem???
Any idea of the problem??
Thanks!

I have an un-locked TyTn II that has an annoying screen problem. At least once a day, the touch screen will stop working. The device continues to function normally using buttons and/or the keyboard, but the touch screen function is dead.
In every case, I have been able to revive the touch screen by using buttons to navigate to the screen alignment settings and then use my finger to scroll around the screen till it comes back to life. Once the screen alignment program comes back to life, I align the screen and go about my business.
I have a fair amount of Spb software installed, but I had the same problem before installing any of the Spb software, so on the surface, I'm ruling that stuff out.
I have Kaiser Tweak and Paul's Tweak installed.
Any idea's would be greatly appreaciated.

Thanks for your reply.
The thread you provided appears to be focused about "complete" freezing. My device continues to work as long as I use buttons and/or the keyboard. Once I align the screen, the device goes back to normal operation.
I recently upgraded my kaiser with a cooked ROM (shifu 10) radio 3.34 i guess. It worked good. After some days it started giving problem with touch. The right soft key was working continuously without even pressing it. When this happens the power button also stops responding , so i have to pull out the battery to turn of the phone. Then i loaded it with original HTC ROM WM 6.1 radio 3.28/3.29. it worked fine for some hours then the problem re appeared. then after some hours the lcd stopped responding to touch , it responds sometimes.. The keyboard worked fine. Then i went to HTC customer care center. They said LCD needs to be replaced. After getting the LCD replaced the problem persisted. what could be the problem???? Please help...
Have you tried...
Have you tried realigning the screen found in setting/ screen/ align screen?
I had an issue similiar at one time, my stylus really wasnt working well at all i was having to push hard with my fat fingers for touch to work. realigning solved my problem. Worth a try.
When i re installed ROM, i couldn't align the screen properly as it was not responding to touch. I'm sure it's not screen alignment problem. Why didn't touch work properly even after LCD REPLACEMENT?
Check this out. I believe this is your problem.

Hi All
Really need help with this.. my touch diamond screen is having this misalignment problem.
When i touch one key, another key on the other side of the screen will light up..
Must keep on pressing the key i want then the alignment will go back. Is a very frequent problem almost like wake up from standby then the screen will get misaligned..
Any one experiencing the same problem?
Using official HTC rom..
Hi guys,
My G1 has been suffering from this error for as long as i can remember and i was wondering if anyone has had the same issue. It could be a hardware problem but i am trying to exhaust all other possibilites before i get a new screen.
The problem is that when i touch the screen, it will frequently detect 2 presses and the screen will "wobble" all over the place. The only way to reset it is to press the end key to shut off the screen and then unlock again.
I have been running the phone with the pointer location always visible and this is how i am able to know that it is detecting other inputs.
Does anyone know of a way to resolve this? The only way i thought of was to replace the touch screen driver...is that possible? Or to disable multi touch so it doesnt have the ability to detect another input.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
I am running a G1 w/ CM6 RC2 and this is any issue which has been occuring since early CM roms.
Regards
Hey, I have replaced my broken and LCD with new one(not original) every thing works fine but some times my "touch" considered as "touch and hold" behaves like ghost touch so its very difficult to type and use device with this phenomena. I tried calibration decreasing/increasing hold time but nothing works. Is there any way to decrease the sensitivity of touch?
