Martin you are a real Devil.
A GOOD Devil.
Thanks for taking care of the problems. I have problems with my build machine and hence the delay in releasing new builds. I have built one today that takes care of the wifi issues. Atleast I dont see any issues.
Keep up the great work. :good:
I was on CyanFox with Gear Kernel. I lost my Baseband after flashing this Kernel. I can't restore it even after flashing a backup.

Thank you! I had some problems if you simply copy the boot.img with your Assembly into any other. Although productivity gains were immediately. Now everything is perfect. Perhaps Mokee and BAM, I will spread with CM-Kernel!

As Benee has included a hack like this in his kernel, I'm dropping this project.
So no new releases from my side on this kernel.
Benee's vorkKernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1059910
So, I played around with the O2X kernel from cyanogenmod a little, and have squeezed a little more RAM out of it
Also, OMFG OVERCLOCKING!!!
I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE THIS MAY CAUSE TO YOUR HANDSET!
Downloads:
CM7: http://adf.ly/1WYb8 or http://ul.to/2j60nsaa
CM7 OC/UV: http://adf.ly/1WbrR or http://ul.to/75p0p77m
OC/UV versions are based on VorkKernel
Normal versions are based on the CM7 kernel
It will give you exactly 64Mb more RAM to play with raising the bar from 383Mb to 447 Mb.
Tech info:
So, at some point while LG was messing around the kernel they decided to up the amount of video RAM the GPU got. I simply turned it back down the the standard 64Mb for tegra 2, and changed the cmdline of the boot image.
If you're interested in the small code change I made, feel free to drop me a PM
So there you go, enjoy your extra RAM!

Well, I saw in performance options that the max clock is 1000 MHz, and it has some governors. But at the stock clock the system is fast and smooth, a lot different from the stock JB from Samsung (anyway, I hate that Touchwiz UI).
I'm waiting a CM11 version to my Xperia L too, and I'll see the difference in the two systems.

I do not know that. Maybe Cocafe or someone else find a way to be. Someday.
This kernel is for users that have flashed the KitKat firmware but decided to return to a 4.1.2 based rom.
To clarify, This is for 4.1.2 Touchwiz based roms only.
Reason for new kernel:
The new KitKat bootloader does not allow offline charging to work properly with the older 4.1.2 kernels. This kernel fixes that issue and offline charging will work as it did on full stock 4.1.2 firmware.
What kernel is this?
This is @ketut.kumajaya's blackhawk 2.1 kernel (compiled by me) modified to work with the new KitKat bootloader. All credit is given to him for the original kernel and the new fix. I am posting this per his wishes.
Other Features:
See the original blackhawk thread for other features of this kernel.

It is the same same kernel as ketut's Blackhawk with minimal changes, so it should perform just as well as that one (which always performed great).

Please there is something I discovered now. Whenever I open maps, after some time the tablet would freeze until I do hard reset.
I also discovered that much RAM is being used, seems the system doesn't manage RAM usage well again by closing some apps when RAM is getting used up. I think this is the reason for the tablet freezing. Even after factory restore, it continued that way. All these after installing the blackhawk kernel.
Can the kernel be replaced with stock by flashing through Odin? Or if there is any other remedy, I'll appreciate it much. Thanks

It's a bug in stock firmware that's why I have switched to 4.4.2
FPBug: Meet the very first stable kernel for the Galaxy S2 i9100, S2 AT&T i777, S2 Epic 4G Touch d710 and Note n7000 since Gingerbread days
Every single Android 4.x kernel for these devices has had a serious bug (FPBug) that randomly corrupts the state of processes, starting with Samsungs's stock ICS and JB and spanning every custom kernel out there newer than Gingerbread.
Please refer to the main thread for details.

Hope this is not rude, but may I ask if you plan on releasing a kernel (or kernels) for non-CM-based ROMs? Or are you planning to let them devs themselves merge the fix, and only release CM kernels?

Once again, thank you for all or your hard work.
Wow thanks
Does FPBug related somehow to kitkat overheating and random reboots?

Just switched to SlimSaber, i don't like CM. The developer included the FPbug fix and it runs great with ART.
*** This KERNEL ONLY SUPPORTS SAMSUNG TW ICS 4.0.4 ROMs (STOCK and CUSTOM). DOES NOT WORK IN CM or AOSP!!! ***
*** The Kernel is based on TW JB source which is safe ***
*** Still, I take no responsibility if the provided KERNELs causes any problem to your phone, you are warned! ***
Hello all,
I have been using all newer versions of rom for our "ancient but wonderful" G-Note. Still not quite happy and I missed the feeling of light and fast of the old ICS rom. The stock is not good enough, while the custom kernels most got pulled down and none supported trim, causing rom to slowdown after some time used.
So decided to make a custom ICS rom and kernel for myself. After many many testings with ICS kernel sources without feeling satisfied, I re-based to JB kernel source and wow! What a nice surprise. The combination made my Note flight!.
I feel extremely happy with it, my Note feel like a new device. So I share here with you:

KERNEL CHANGELOGS:
Kernel-V3:
- 1600 MHz OC CPU option, stock GPU
- Compile using uber toolchain
Kernel_V2:
- Reverse to stock CPU ang GPU
- Fix video recording
- improve battery life
Kernel_V1:
- GPU 3 steps (133-267-400)
- Enable OC CPU to 1600 (default). Allow to customize CPU voltage.
- PhilZ Touch recovery
- Exfat native support
- Trim support
- Various tweaks from Speedmod kernel
My favorite kernel governors and schedulers combination: SmartassV2+Vir or PegasusQ+Row
ROM FEATURES:
- Based on stock TW ICS 4.0.4: LR8
- Almost as stock. Removed lots of bloats apks.
- Add 14 toggles
- Call recording.
The room is extremely fast and responsive. It handle heavy games (such as Golfstar) like a breeze and also battery friendly. :good::good::good::good::good:

If you are om an ics rom, then flash the kernel would be enough.

It was a clean install. Full wipe of data and cache, then install. Though I didn't do a factory reset and another cache wipe before reboot, could that be it?

Did a reflash, factory reset and cache wipe. Still nothing, since nobody reported anything it's probably a hardware thing but on Nightowl it works fine >.>

It's strange. There are a few dozens download so far, so I hope others will report.
In the mean time can you post a screening shot of the setting/about phone? I would like to make sure kernel version is correct one.
