Please suggest a call recorder app for moto x or some other ways to record calls. I need to record few calls from a family members for a video I am creating for them. It cannot be google voice as it has to be international calls. Please advice.

If it's needed for business.... Wouldn't the other person knowing they are being recorded be the proper way to go? Lol
Not letting them know would be unethical.
Personal calls too. There's laws for a reason.

yes working here also perfect. Sound is loud and clear.
Easy Voice Recorder Pro is working really well on my Moto X. It also has a Tasker plug-in, allowing me to automatically record all phone calls (don't care to do this, but I tested it, and it works perfectly).

Well after trying "default" it's not much better, at least compared with my old Galaxy Exhibit which sounded like you were in the room with the person it was so clear. Maybe I`m just spoiled by that.
Here is what I`m getting by changing the Standard API audio source:
Voice call up/downlink are the same - zero length recordings.
Microphone - didn't even try it because I know from past experience the results, even at best case scenario, are not that good IMO
Default - hear myself great but the other person sounds baffled like "Microphone" above.
Voice Communication - hear myself great but other person is garbled static.
So yes Default is the best yet and at least workable, but still unsatisfying. Maybe that's as good as it gets on the Moto X but I`ll see if the Dev will at least look into it.

Yes, I'm rooted, but I'm not sure it matters. I never thought to use it for this purpose before I saw this thread, and I don't plan to use it much, but it's good to know it's an option for times when I'm not in a position to take notes during a call.

Hello to everybody!!!
I am trying with my new HTC one M7 to get a good callrecorder. years ago i bought callrecorder of skvalex. And for my last phone (HTC one x) there is a patch to get a great sound of both speakers.
But with HTC ONE M/ doesnt work properly. Too low or nothing the voice of the other speaker and i have rooted with lasta ARHD rom. SO...is there any solution??
I tested all configurations program. But with api standard anly record in audio source (microphone) and the sound is low and no good.
thanks!!!
Just wanted to bump this now that S-off is out and various other tools.
Has anyone successfully managed to get two way call recording working on the HTC one yet?
Yes, i still waiting for a solution.. hope so..

It's supposed to work with Android Revolution HD 12.1 ROM, but on my phone the other is side extremely low in volume with the CallRecorder Trial. I suspect that only the phone mic is recorded which catches a little bit from the call speaker.
What settings do I have to use?
A guy in the Galaxy S4 thread has offered an $100 to whoever can make an both sides of the call recorder.
John.
I don`t know how but in unof. miui rom its work good

It's kind of funny to come back to a thread with the same problem a few months later and realise you already posted.
lol I was looking around last night regarding the call recording (in line) for the HTC One. I am still no farther along. Checked out skvalex's main thread and didn't find much there.
Anyone have anything to report about the muiui ROM? (is that sence based or AOSP?)

I can only assume you're talking about the "silent camera" add on. This is for turning off the SOUND the camera makes (which is unnecessary as this is already an option in the app). I believe OP was talking about noise as in signal noise, not sound
Sent from my XT1060 using Tapatalk
Try recording something with absolutely no background noise of you talking breathing is fine you will hear a slight hiss during recording silence this is with the stock camera app and 100% fully stock google Image 4.4.2 Flashed No root no kernel all stock
Also there seems to be issue on the mic when in a voice call when there is silence also hissing noise and or when in a crowded environment it sounds muffled.
There are around 3 threads like this on the Q and A section. All NEXUS 5's have this issue STOP Hiding and bring awareness to Google and or LG
A quick search reveals many people having this issue. Search on Google for Nexus 5 mic issue
In fact it even affects the Nexus 4! and how old is the Nexus 4 now? its been doing that since 4.3!
I love it when people generalize with words like "all" and "everyone". Got mine new last week at Tmobile store. Voice calls are fine with no hissing. Recorded video and audio sounds fine. If there are three threads then why create another one. Read the rules!!, also if you want lg's attention go post in their support thread. No one but deaf ears will hear you here. If you are that unhappy return it.

If you don't like it, buy a new phone. On a side note, have you tried downloading a seperate recording app? As far as the call goes, I haven't had an issue with that, so its not ALL. Instead, you could of used: majority, almost all, a high percentage, a noticeable amount.

I still get the giggles reading your "The radio is great on the nexus 5" post.
I find that the level of hissing differs between devices. Some devices have it really bad where it sounds like someone is constantly blowing air into the mic, where as as on others you can barely hear any noise.
Can it be achieved, either by flashing Moto camera or other means? I notice considerable quality loss when running non stock ROMs

My wife and I use Google Voice and that voicemail (which gives email and text transcript), so I've never used AT&T voicemail.
However, lots of people have used Quarks on AT&T (whether Droid Turbo or Moto Maxx). I hadn't heard any complaints about AT&T visual voicemail...

Hi there.
I have a SM-N960F (Dual SIM - running Android 8.1.0 / SE 9.5 - Baseband: N960FXXU2ARH7 - Kernel: 4.9.59-14091311-QB19533257 - Build: M1AJQ.N960FXXS2ARH6 - Security patch: 1 September 2018 ) bought in Europe (not locked to any supplier - just the normal retail model) and the builtin Call Recorder option does not exist (it's disabled , does not show up).
So, as "hackdrag0n" said, it is a region type feature (being active or not).
I have a person I know in Malaysia (with the same Exynos model) and the Call Record feature is active.
I had to install a third party app to achieve the mentioned functionality.
Regards,
The first time I messed in the phone app my snap asked me if I wanted to urn on call recording. I said yes. And that's it. Window closed. No settings or options displayed. I don't really want to use a call recording app if it is built in. But nothing 8n options, settings or storage indicating call recording. Call recording comes in handy dealing with corporations, management and ESPECIALLY insurance claims. Unlocked snap here.
Works really well for me on the Indian Exynos variant.
Hey i have the Note 9 with the latest from Verizon ARH6 and the September 1st Security Update. I CAN confirm that call recording using ACR (automatic call recorder) DOES work. This was an issue on the actual Samsung Forums but ACR for sure WORKS. Now as for the built in call recorder like mentioned before it's a region thing.
And you are running android 9??
