1) You inet was stolen probably by apps that are synched all the time. Check Settings -> Account and sync
2) If you use ICS then there is inbuilt feature that allows to control your traffic and see what apps use internet too much. Settings -> Networks data usage smth. like that
3) But also you can use any firewall app though might need root for this. E.G Droidwall app

Check your Data Usage in System Settings, it will give you an idea of what is eating your data. Also, check your Battery stats, it can also give you an indication. Are your apps set to Auto Update? maybe change the settings to "Over WiFi" only.
I hope this helps. Please hit THANKS if it did.
If you want a third party app for monitoring data usage, check onavo in play store :

Yes... Don't use these things cause they kill apps to get ram free then the apps open again in background using more ram so the device lags

Use Betterbatterystats or Wakelock Detector.

What if the apps that detect background apps are background apps themselves? Do they detect themselves? In the background?

Don't be so confusing!
I have noticed that Wakelock Detector even can fulfill its purpose when the app itself is completely killed.

It was a joke, lol.
System_server spawns multiple processes, causing memory-leak like symptoms on android 4.3
I used OS monitor app and saw "Android system" process duplicates
Then ram over flows and all the process restarts, making phone unusable, and all apps exits.
@niaboc79 do you think this could be the cause of our ram woes? And could this issue be fixed in your rom?
