I take ZERO credit for this.
This was posted in another thread and it solved a BIG complaint for me, so I'm reposting a link.
This app will add the battery percentage to the standard battery meter. NO ROOT REQUIRED.

Is it possible to change to a 1% battery? I have a honeycomb battery and circle battery that I would love to use.
Circle Battery HAS 1% increments, I'm not sure what more you want!?!? .5%?

you talking about the circle battery in p3droid's toolbox? because i tried it and it does NOT has 1% increments
He is referring to an app on the market. It's called circle battery widget I believe.

I'm talking about the notification battery. I have used several widgets, all the ones that use the phones battery info only report in 10% intervals. The others are not as accurate. My x 1% x2 10% bionic 10%.
I am using an app called battery circle from the market and it increments 1% and allows placement in the status bar.

That one does show 1% increments. A lot of the others only show it in 10% increments on the Bionic even though they show 1% on other devices. Thanks for pointing that one out.

Anyone use it or know if it is a big battery drain?
Thinking of using it full time since the Note 3 us using an Amoled screen and it should not use much battery.
Just would like to know real world usage.

With omniswitch activated my battery stands at least 24h,,,but when i accidently put it off,,,my battery suddenly stands 48 h and the phone consumed only 45% in 24 hours. Is this convincing enough!!! And by the way,the using mode is the same in both cases.

And i'm speaking about omniswitch,, not about omnirom

In many cases that's pure coincidence.
I mean - do you see it appearing in battery stats?
It's pretty much impossible for an app that doesn't hold wakelocks to have any significant effect on battery life.
app to improve battery life
Okay. I may sound rude but this has been repeated time and again. USE THE SEARCH BAR THAT EXISTS ON THE XDA WEBSITE! DON'T UNNECESSARILY CLOG UP THE FORUM WITHOUT READING OTHER THREADS AND DOING SOME RESEARCH!
