app to improve battery life
Okay. I may sound rude but this has been repeated time and again. USE THE SEARCH BAR THAT EXISTS ON THE XDA WEBSITE! DON'T UNNECESSARILY CLOG UP THE FORUM WITHOUT READING OTHER THREADS AND DOING SOME RESEARCH!

first try english, or proof reading before pressing send.
next try the xda general forums or android app forums, this has nothing to do with captivate.
also try to post in a pre-existing thread instead of starting a new one.
finally.... you have a high resolution screen with auto-rotation, the xda site works amazing on a captivate through the web-browers, (hint: double tap the thread areas) and through the web browser it has search.
But using the browser requires scrolling through oversized sigs.
As for the xda app, there are a number of issues with it atm.
Yeah same probably just started

Use poweramp and select "loud (phone speaker) " from equalizer presets. Also try searching the forums before asking questions as I've seen this answered about 20 times.
I think i try Psyloid's method.

You should try with poweramp as insturcted above. It'll definitely give you improved performance.
I have a problem with my HTC one stock firmware. The max manual brightness on the interface is very very low. Half that of a maximum Nexus. But when I open the Car app or Camera app it comes to life with a lot of light.
Is that a known issue with the stock sense ?

Hello Comrades,
I would post this on the ROM page for TrickDroid, but it's been closed due to developer inactivity, and though I presume it's a problem related to the ROM specifically, I was wondering if anyone had any tips for me. I have not turned on Wi-Fi at all today, and yet in my battery usage it shows the Wi-Fi as a constant battery drain since charger unplug. Attached is my screenshot of this problem.. I assume a wakelock, but where do I start in fixing such a problem? I'm no new kid round these forums, but this sort of problem is foreign to me.
Thanks for any help,
CC

I take ZERO credit for this.
This was posted in another thread and it solved a BIG complaint for me, so I'm reposting a link.
This app will add the battery percentage to the standard battery meter. NO ROOT REQUIRED.
