I love the POST-inspired one, looking forward to this being finished. Wish I could help you!
I am at school atm but I can make it for you and then explain how. But you will have to clarify what you mean boot into recovery. If you flash a custom rom you have generally or always installed a recovery menu. This can be accessed by pressing "Home + End Call(boot) button" before the phone starts.
Made it start but for some odd reason it misses the post. Got a lesson now so will try later.

nobody can't help me??
Your new animation have to be almost (but not quite entirely unlike) the same filesize as the old one <- this is important for the system to recognize the splash screen.
Anyone out there want to take a look at this boot animation? I've tried all I can think of to get it to work but all I ever get is a black screen. I'd appreciate the help.

Your bootanimation.zip is compressed. You need to ZIP without compression.

you have to flash a boot animation, it depend of you're ROM
U on any custom rom?
If my post helped, don't mind hitting THANKS
find the appropriate boot animation for your rom and flash it with cwm.
Absolute system tools had a great toil for doing this with about 200 different boot animations to install
I found this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2112627) with a stock boot animation. I was wondering if anyone had a stock shutdown animation? If not, would use this animation but what file to replace to change the shutdown animation? I have searched found is just for the boot animation and nothing on shutdown. Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can provide.
