Hi,
I tried to encrypt my phone. Even after 8 hours nothing happened so I rebooted. Now my phone says my external sd is empty and if i click format he asks me if I'm sure and then nothing happens.. My TF701T doesn't mount the SD and my PC shows nothing.. Can you help me?

I think the best solution is to recover files from SD with your PC (Recuva or Minitool Partition Wizard HE should be good enough and free) and then formatting it. I don't really know what happened to your phone, but this is partial solution for you. Hope for the best :fingers-crossed:

But my PC doesn't mount the SD The SD is in an Card reader. The reader works with every other SD but if I put the SD of my Phone into the reader nothing happens no new Drive appears on my PC. Nowhere! So i can't format it The Data is not that Problem I'll recover it. The 1. problem is mounting the SD.

Ok. I've made it. The only Device that showed the format button was my phone so i smashed that Button a couple times and after that i pressed the mount button and surprise! The SD is mounted *-* The weird thing is that all of my Data is availible and not damaged Oo. I connected my Phone to my PC over USB and now I'm copying all my data to my PC and then I'll try to put the SD into my Tablet.
Thanks for your help
EDIT:
I can perfectly mount and unmount the SD on my Phone but neither my tablet nor my PC (without having the SD mounted in the phone and the phone connected over USB) is mounting it.. Any Ideas? :/

If you have managed to backup all the data then it's time to do a proper format - you have no idea what might have been done by the failed attempt to encrypt.
If you can't read the card in your other devices then there is definitely something wrong and I wouldn't advise using the card until you resolve that issue.

Your SD is possibly encrypted. That is why you can mount it only on your phone. As SimonTS said after backing up do formatting.

My problem is that when i try to transfer files from my PC(mass storage or MTP) to the external SD it always stops or does not start at all. Everything else is working fine. And theres also no problem when using the SD with my laptops card reader.
Im using Doc's Master ROM:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1442169
but i think i experienced this problem with 2.3.5 too.
Can you access the external SD card while it's in your phone? So can you navigate to to the files using a file manager?
ICS has many Problems with The ext. Sd...

Yes i can browse all the files and play Music and Videos. Transfering the files from the internal to the external SD also works.
@theKingJan:
I'm not really sure but i think i already got this problem with some GB roms. And it seems there aren't many others having this problem with AOKP. And yes i have this problem with other ICS roms too. So I thought my computer is the reason for this strange behaviour but the same thing happens with other computers.

I reformatted my SD card that was in my phone a while back but the problem now is that is my phone will not read the SD card. It only shows the internal memory.
Maybe the SD card is damaged? Have you tried it on a different device?

Okay, most likely somehow your format got interrupted so I suggest to try formatting it again. If that doesn't work Mount it to a PC right click the SD cards partition and click properties then scan disk and post error results if there are any.
EDIT: sorry, didn't notice your upper post.
Not formatting through a pc might've been the problem all along, keep us posted.

I put the new card in, and it's not recognised.. It doesn't know I put a card in
I don't have a pc at the moment so I can't try formatting it..
I hope it's not broken and a format should help?
Take the card out turn off phone
Put the card in
Turn phone on
It should pop up then saying 'card detected, format?'
If not go into settings and then storage and format it
That's how I remember if my memory serves me right

Have you tried formatting it manually from within the Storage menu? I've read that this is the solution to most issues with non-detected 64GB cards.
It doesn't even know there's a card installed.. Nothing.

Try the HP format tool for windows if you use a PC. It can handle large FAT partitions. Try both modes, fat and exfat and see if the phone recognises it. Failing that, I'm out of ideas I'm afraid.

I use a sandisk 32gb sd card on my Z1.
(Bootloader Unlocked, Cusom Rom & Kernel.)
Now I notice that, I soon was missing files on the SD card, found it back in Lost.dir..
And with Recuva software also,
How is this happening?
I backed up the data of the sdcard to pc, formatted the sd card to fat32 agian.
Hope it won't happen again.
Has this to do with mount of unmount of the sdcard?
I never had this on my Xperia T with a sandisk 16gb.
Any help would be appreciated
Can be a faulty SD.
After formatting is seems to go well
