Looking for a ROM on my Sprint HTC One. I'm currently on CM 10.2, but I need to be on a sense ROM to unlock my SIM, I prefer sense over stock android.
What the best ROM in relation to my preferences?
-Battery Life
-Performance
-0 Bloatware
-Smooth
-No Blinkfeed

Really, these threads shouldn't exist. There is no "best rom" because it depends on personal preference. BlinkFeed is capable of being disabled on any 4.3+ (sense 5.5 i think) stock rom. Because I'm in a good mood, I would recommend any of the following based on your preferences:
Stock with Goodies by flex360
RageOne by utkaar099
SuperOne by thoughtlesskyle
Also, check out my comprehensive rom, kernel, and recovery list over here.

Hi,
I'd like to try some ROM with HTC Sense, but don't know which one is the best when it comes to battery life and useability?
I would say use one that is on 2.2 to start with.

Both are 2.2 Sense UI ROMs.
Both are just as usable.
Is there anyone who has made a rom to just add the sense UI materials to the already built rom, sorta like with themes where you don't have to flash a whole brand new rom.
(keeping in mind that the phone is already rooted)
At the moment i am using the SUnAaBh Rom overclocked to 710MHz and i really care about speed on my phone, i was wondering if there are any faster sense roms now? as i flashed SUnAaBh as i heard it was the fastest but there has been some new releases can anyone advise me? thanks
Hybrid V3, it is not a "full sense" ROM but, it´s faster (in compare with original froyo) and stable.

Hybrid is not a Sense ROM. It is "hybrid" because it uses a few HTC Apps.
OP, if you are really looking for speed, consider switching from a Sense based to an AOSP ROM like CM6/7 or OpenFire. You really dont have much options in Sense Based ROMs apart from Sunaabh, WildPuzzle, DK Custom ROM, and, really,, in terms of speed, its minutely different between each.
Hi, I am new to this Sensation XL XDA forum.
i have had SXL for about 3month or maybe more, and still haven't done any tweaks(root, custom rom, etc)
And the things i want to know is
is it good to change from stock rom to custom rom? is it faster and battery can last longer?
which custom rom is the most stable one?
and can i still update to official HTC ICS update(when it comes) after i install custom rom?
and what is the difference between sense 3.5 and 3.6?
Thanks
Custom ROMs are aftermarket ROMs created by developers that are tweaked or enhanced by the developer or are ported over from another device. These custom ROMs can sometimes offer tweaks to UI, speed, battery life enhancements and mods/tweaks to enhance user experience.
The difference between sense 3.5 and sense 3.6 is that sense 3.6 is based on android 4.0 but the design apart from the dock at the bottom is mainly based on the UI of sense 3.5.
To recieve the official ICS update you will have to (to the best of my knowledge) re-lock the bootloader and flash a stock HTC ruu or rom to recieve the update.
As for the most stable ROM i would have to say any of the BinDroid/CoreDroid ROMs Runny-Bliss by Alex-V or for Android 4.0/ICS Zombi.eSandwich

Thanks for your replied
But is it better to change stock rom to the custom ones you mentioned?
and do you use custom rom?
The ROMs I mentioned are from my personal experience. And yes I.do use a custom ROM I am currently using the Three musketeers sense 4 ROM I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner as.it is a beta and has a.few.bugs

Please move to q&a section. Custom option is for users who want that bit extra from their device which they cannot get with a stock rom. There are many restriction within stock roms which limit your user experience. With custom roms and kernels you get to use your device they way you want to and can also manipulate it to your personal taste. Many of the roms in here are stable enough and a few like miui and sense 4 are WIP. Once you are up to speed you can give those a try and post your findings

Custom ROM
If this is your first dabbling into custom roms i would strongly suggest as stable rom as possible. If you are mainly looking for increased speed and longer battery i would recommend an older gingerbread rom. Since gingerbread is older, devs have had a lot more time to perfect roms based on gingerbread.
From my experience by installing and testing all the HTC ONE ROM's my favorite is Android Revolution HD 31.6 ONLINE been running this ROM over a week and runs amazing, Really Fast, Smooth, Battery Life is great, graphics are awesome, and supports Sense 5 Toolbox 2.4.1.

Yeah ARHD is always a top choice rom I must agree with there but have you ran Renovate lately?

Sorry, but we dont allow "BEST ROM" threads. Each rom is unique and special in its own way, so our suggestion is for you to try some and see which rom YOU like and what works best for YOU. Remember, what works for you may not work for someone else... so go try them for yourself and see what you prefer.
I don't know much about rom development, if anything.
Curious, is it possible for an aosp based rom to have certain sense apps installed. Ie, an aokp/cm base that uses the aosp system menu, status bar but can use the sense dialer, contacts etc?
I have no idea if this is possible. I have seen "hybrid" roms but they all seem to be Sense based roms that have been debloated and removal of some sense apps. I was hoping to go the other way if that makes sense!

Had you searched this out you would have found that the answer is no. Sense apps need HTC Sense frameworks and without it they dont work and AOSP uses a completely different framework.
