[Q][Help] Can't get the date pics are created - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I'm using the camera app that comes with CM 10.2. But when I try to order pictures at windows, the column "Created in" is all blank, it does not show the data/time the pictures were taken, neither does when I try to upload it to facebook, it isn't capable of getting the time.
Any solutions for this?

Facebook app: no locations found when posting photos. Only on ICS/CM9!

Hi everyone,
I hope this is the right place to ask -- maybe someone has the same problem and has maybe even found a solution.
The problem is that when I try to post photo on a Facebook timeline or group using the official FB app, then choose to add a location, I only get the message that no locations are found. When I use the location checkin feature instead of taking a photo, I get a correct list of locations -- thus in general it works, but just not in a photo context. Curiously, when I clear the FB app data or uninstall and reinstall it, it works for a short time before showing the same issue again.
The problem only seems to occur on CM9 (the nightlies and now 9.0 final). On CM7 it worked fine and again on CM10 alpha.
Does anyone have the same problem?
Thanks,
S.

[Q] Skydrive screenshots not auto uploaded

Hi,
I have a problem with my screenshots from my lumia 920.
for some reason the pictures in screenshots are not getting uploaded anymore. i think it only uploads camera roll at the moment.
is there a way to check that? the only settings i seem to find is "upload wifi, data plan or not at all".
There isnt even a "uploading waiting" in the picture hub
So you mean the upload can be done, but screenshot does not work?

[Q] How to stop whatsapp taken photos to appear in camera captures?

Hello, I need help with something, I had a nexus 4 and before it a Galaxy Nexus, in those phones or maybe in Google Android Clean OS when I took pictures inside whatsapp the images didnt appear in the "camera captures" folder at the gallery, but since I had the HTC One and previously the HTC One S all images taken inside whatsapp appear on the camera captures and upload automatically to dropbox or htc share,
I have been searching for an answer to this and all that I could find was solving this issue but in iPhone...
If an of you could help me with this?, theres photos that I simply dont want to be shown in the gallery as "taken photos"
thanks.

[Q] Timeshift Burst saves all images - why?

Hi guys,
Using stock ROM and camera (.257) on the Z1. I have a weird issue with the Timeshift Burst feature:
As I understand it, it is supposed to take 30 images, then let me choose one to keep.
Instead, it takes 30 images, lets me choose one, and then keeps all 30 images in my gallery!
They all get uploaded to Dropbox and G+, and they all clutter my on-device gallery. How do I make it stop? I want just one image, not 30.
Thank you!
you can do this.
DCIM\XPERIA\TIMESHIFT, then delete extra files before uploading

Both Dropbox and G+ auto-upload... Having to manually delete files is really a workaround - is there no "sane" way to do this? I expected a setting I missed or something.
Discovered the same annoying issue today. Hope the will fix it or at least give an option...

It's not an issue, Sony made it like this so you can later change the picture you selected. after you take a picture in timeshift burst, select a picture, then if you go to the gallery you will see one image. there is 3 buttons in the bottom right corner, the middle one is to change the picture, if you click on it you will get back to the screen you chose the picture from (as if you just took the picture right now and it's telling you to choose the picture you want to keep in gallery).
Probably the issue you're having is that G+ uploads all the 60 (they're 60 pictures, not 30) and shows them in the gallery. if you can remove G+ pictures from gallery, You'll be good to go.

yea its pretty annoying. i havnt tried to figure a way around it yet but maybe you could use foldersync to watch the folder where the timeshifts are saved, and get it to move them to another location, one that G+ doesnt listen to.
tasker might be another one to use. pick the photo you want to keep and copy it to the dcim/camera folder, then have a shortcut (swipepad is a handy way to launch tasks without leaving the current app) to get tasker to delete everything inside the timeshift folder

Whatsapp Camera Issue (?)

Hey guys, how are you?
I don't know how to explain the issue that I'm having with the camera when I use it on Whatsapp, but I'll try my best: when I open the camera inside whatsapp (front or back), I point it
to what I want to shoot but when I take the picture, the image saved slightly moves a bit to the side, as if I move the camera when pressing to take the picture.
I'm sure that I was not clear enough explaining what's happening, so I'm gonna attach some files to show it to you (idk if it's allowed, if it's not, sorry ^^').
The screen recording shows exactly what happens. The first image is a screenshot when I have the camera opened and the last image is the actual picture that I took, without moving not even a bit the camera.
I already tried the basics as search for app updates, clear the cache and app data, uninstall and install again, etc. PS: it happens only on whatsapp, the other apps is working fine.
