[Q] GPS Problem

When i format my galaxy s, gps works very well but if little time pass from format gps doesnt work again. I am using 2.2.1 jpy stock rom. Is there any method to solve this problem?

I have the same problem!? No idea how to fix it.

Did you flash CSC, modem and PDA? Try doing that.. Also, try doing a factory reset and wiping cache

You can use "gps aids" a new app that can download a-gps data for yours region.Program to be found on this forum in development section.

problem with all cm rom

I have problem with all cm9 and cm10 rom
Sometimes when i want to install app,i can't because install buttom doesn't work(i touch install but noting happen)but after some hour when i want insatllthat app,it's work.
Even when i did full wipe but happened again!
Can some one help to solve this problem?(my phone sgs +)

Try to install CM7, try to run installation, and touch there, where it didnt work

Becouse in normal way i can't install apk

Even on CM7?
(Try different roms)
If you used aosp then try aokp
If you used aokp then try aosp

I try all cm rom(aokp,aosp,...)but it happen sometimes.after a while it well

Running CM9.1 flawless on my SGS for a while now...don't recognize the problem you're describing...:silly:

I went from GB 2.3.6 (rooted) with CWM installed to CM9.1 using the official ROM (Stable) and WIKI from the CM website!

You have a problem with touch screen or app? didnt get your question...

Problem with touch screen!

Problem with answering Calls - Running CM 10 - Jelly Bean 4.1.2
I have Galaxy S GT-19000 - installed CM 10 -Jelly Bean 4.1.2.- previously running GB 2.3.6.
Generally works well but have problem when receiving calls as Lock Screen with a pattern of Concentric Circles is displayed even though Lock Screen turned off. If I press on this screen the incoming phone call is disconnected .
However if I am careful and drag screen to the right I see very small green symbol to pickup phone.
Is there anyway to remove this locking pattern so that it does not display when phone rings and accept incoming calls ?
Note when the phone sleeps the Lock Screen is not displayed which suggests that the Lock Screen is not activated.
I have looked in settings but can't find any other way to remove the locking pattern when calls are recieved.
Just added to this query as follows:- When connecting to Charger the phone used to emit an audible sound - it still charges but I can't see in settings any action to enable sound.
I would appreciate your help

S3 LTE with latest rXTREME does not boot

Hello,
I installed latest rXTREME. Everything was fine. But now my device doesn't boot. I received no error messages. The display shows me SAMSUNG.
What can I do to fix the problem?

Hello i am using rxtreme the lastest one and i never had that problem. My only problem now is my playstore and youtube saying i have no internet access when i have even using mobile data. You could try flashing the rom again and if it still doesnt work the i suggest you switch rom and see if it works for you k. Reply back if it works

Can you access CWM?
If you can then wipe data, all caches and such then reflash the ROM (you may have to use an external SD card if you do not have it on your ROM already), it is advised that you use a different ROM though as I wouldn't want the chance of this happening again
I recommend Pandoriam it has an awesome dev that updates it reguly and has great support

Can't access to SIM-PIN Settings

Hi Guys,
I can't acces the SIMP-PIN settings. I use Pandoriam and Perseus, even the new version 5.5 doesn't work. It quits com.android.phone when I try to enter the settings. I have a german simcard from telekom. Does anyone has the same problem?

[Q] CM10 Jellybean 4.1.2 Galaxy Ace GT-5830

I have install latest ROM of jellybean CM10 4.1.2 release date 04-Jan-2013 on My Galaxy Ace GT-5830.
After flashing new ROM below issues i am facing
1) Unable to receive calls
2) USB debugging not working
3) Setting icon on top of screen not working
4) FM radio n/a in CM10
5) Camera nor working properly..(Flickring on view)
can anyone help

I have already Wipe Data /factory reset , wipe cache partition, wipe delvik cache, wipe battery stats and again reflash ROM.. but same issues..
Earlier i was using cm10 4.1.1 05-12-2012 release and it was working fine with few bugs.

Flash some other stable builds..

I'm using the same ROM. CM10 by lag loose. Everything's working fine. Just do all the wipes, data/cache/dalvic cache/battery stats & format cache/data /system/SD ext & flash the ROM. Everything except the reported bugs must work.

Well, I haven't tried that. But probably you might already be knowing how well these builds are currently, so don't expect much.

I have tried everything but still this release of rom not working for me..
somtimes it gives symlink error while flashing rom
sometimes its flashing successfully, but system applications start crashing after booting
sometimes it stucks in booting logo
sometimes its flashing sucessfully, but nothing is working.. incoming calls disconnets after 1 ring, application crashing very frequently, phone reboot while turning wifi, gps, bluetooth on.
Pls anybody help... i tried all thing, but no sucess.. earliar version of rom also not working properly, apps crashing and hanging very frequently...
