[Q] What is the difference between 1100mAh and 1500 mAh?

My Samsung Galaxy S comes with original 1500mAh battery. And i bought a replacement as a spare but i wasn't aware of the replacement battery is 1100mAh. I bought it from ebay. This battery shows and indicates that it's suitable for Galaxy S. I 'm afraid it will affect my Galaxy S if i use this 1100mAh. Will 1100mAh ruin my Galaxy S? Thanks in advance.
Those are indication of battery capacity. 1500mAh would last longer than a 1100mAh
Sent from my Nokia 3310 using XDA App
The bigger the number, the longer it will last.
That's of course assuming that the number written is the actual capacity of the battery.

[Q] Source of genuine 1500 mAh battery in the UK?

Hi guys.
Having trouble sourcing a genuine 1500 mAh battery in the UK.
1440mAh is the best I can find, but would ideally prefer the 1500.
Is there any real difference between the 1440 & 1500?
Any links/comments welcome.

because mugen is a lesser brand and doesnt do the whole 2600 mah. i bought one and i owned a multimeter and it was barely more 1600 mah
Because Mugens claim of 2600mAh is a bit bold to be polite plus the genuine HTC cover is better & for sure so is the HTC cell in all asects from quoted mAh to all its components.
In all honesty, I got more than 2,000mAh on the Mugen battery - around 2,300mAh, but not more than that.
The original battery has an added benefit - original battery cover casing with kickstand No other battery provides a durable one.

Original HTC battery from local HTC distributor? Yes.
Fake, cheap battery from ebay? No.
Buy this one, it says it is 3500mah and they are located in the U.S.A
and it only cost 9 dollars shipped

A question not completely on topic but:
How can razr maxx have 3300mah battery with about same dimensions as stock HD2, but only 2300mah battery is huge on HD2?

Ankar 1400mh Battery for Galaxy Ace

Hi guys,
anyone tried the Ankar 1400mh Li0ion Battery replacement for the Ace? i have a friend who has an HTC Sense and using an Ankar branded battery and according to him, it is much better than his original battery.
i think if this thing is http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_ace_duos_surfaces_costs_260-news-3824.php
exactly same to our ace then it would be better to get official 1650

Is there an official 1650 mAh for Galaxy ACE??
ill try to find good alternative for battery (more mAh) but all of them are fake. It wrote that battery has 1500, 1700 mAh or more but truly it has less than 1200 mAh. Only original battery is the good one. I hope that the battery from SGA-Duo will be compatible to our.

[Q] Any issues with a third-party 5,000 mAh battery in the Note?

I will be buying a Samsung Galaxy Note this week.
I believe it comes with a 2,500 mAh battery.
Whilst that is fine, I'll also buy a second battery as a spare/backup.
You can pick up a third-party 5,000 mAh battery for £11.50 on Amazon (or £15.00 for one with a cover with a kickstand)
Any thoughts on such batteries?
If you guys think they're fine, I may even use Samsung's 2,500 mAh battery as the spare/backup.

If people want a high capacity battery, the only way to go is to purchase MUGEN extented batteries - Do not consider anything else if you want stamina for your Note.

They charge £55.80 for a 5,400 mAh battery and £27.88 for a 2,650 mAh battery. Do they think I'm a mug?
This has many fine reviews on Amazon and it's only £11.49. I don't mind if it's not 5000 mAh as advertised. For that price, I'll be happy for it to be 3,500 mAh - would still be more than the included 2,500 mAh battery.
I'd rather buy a battery bank to use it on the OCM. That's me, but everybody got his/her own preferences.
Sent from the corner of this rounded earth.
I have quite often bought batteries, no one surpasses the orig one.
So save your money..
