I've unlocked my bootloader, flashed a kernel, went into recovery and installed the ROM zip (I've tried both VanirAOSP and Mahdi ROM).
It remains in a bootloop.
When I press clear data/cache, recovery says the partition cannot be mounted.
Can anyone help, please?
Never mind, problem solved, I flashed a stock rom using flashtool and reinstalled the rom from there.

I installed CM 10 stable and Semaphore Kernel. Worked great. Then went to install gapps and got lots of FC's so I went on to clean cache, dalvik and to do a factory reset and suddenly I got stuck at semaphore/boot logo and couldn't go into recovery. Got the recovery fix and installed it via Odin, and it works. But, it doesn't allow me to install anything from external SD card, only internal. Of course, I don't have anything there.
What should I do? Any links for tar versions of CWM and CM 10 for i9000?
Hmmm, is it safe to assume everything will be OK if I just flash any stock firmware from sammobile?
Yup, that combined with this did the trick.
I unlocked my ZR's bootloader and tried installing these roms:
Carbon Rom
Beanstalk
LiquidSmooth
But after installing any of these, my phone wont boot completely.
It goes past the SONY screen and loads the animation of the rom that i flashed, the animation still goes on - it is not stuck.
This goes on for like half an hour and still does not go any further.
I will explain the steps i followed.
1. Unlocked bootloader
2. flashed the boot.img of the corresponding rom
3. booted to recovery -- vol up
4. Wipe data/ fac reset
5. wipe cache partition and Dalvik
6. installed the rom and rebooted
Is there anything else i am missing here ?

go in mounts & format system with all othe wipes
& try
+1 if the ROM animation is shown then rom must boot up
plz try again
You have to boot the stock firmware first.
Flash a stock rom
Boot it properly
Turn off the phone
Flash the custom rom kernel using fastboot
Do your wipes
Install the custom rom zip
The phone should boot properly now

I followed your instructions.
I flashed a .310 rom first and rooted it.
then unlocked my bootloader -- i got a bootloop
I powered off the device and flashed the rom's kernel and wiped everything except external sdcard
booted to recovery and flashed the rom and rebooted.
I am getting the same issue.

flash .310 again then flash a custom kernel and the send me screenies of about phone
I flashed .310 and flashed the kernel of "beanstalk" rom and flashed "beanstalk" rom without wiping anything.
the device booted completely with no issues.
I rooted my phone and opened bootloader succesfully, then I installed latest CWM with my ROM manager.
After that I wiped data (factory reset), wiped caches and dalvik caches as well. Then I rebooted my phone put CM11 on it then shut it down and succesfully installed CM11 with CWM.
I also wanted to install iodak v9.5 kernel but when I did it with ROM manager(actually CWM did it) I checked it in "About phone" and it wrote I have 3.1.10 CM kernel. So i decided to install kernel manually from CWM.
I went to CWM and saw that it didnt updated to my new datas. That means it wrote I have folders that I used to have before factory reset.
So it didnt recognize my iodak kernel .zip file.
I don't know what to do really I hope you can help me! :/
I,ve used omni rom for a while and decided to switch to amcha rom, my phone didnt boot after first flash, just at boot logo. After second flash my phone booted but no network and watermark in the attachment appeared..
I had done this backup before, but my phone wouldn`t appear on the port setup so backup was impossible.

Tried flashing stock rom 4.3 (using new bootloader),
didnt boot. E3 recovery told me that /efs cannot be mounted, so did twpr recovery when installing some roms. I managed to find out only amcha rom booted.
Roms tried: sentinel rom
Stock
Amcha
Omni
I have the backup file in format .qcn but how could i restore it?
I`dd really appreciate any help!

You have to do all wipes and then flash Stock again.Try this.
Did all wipes, flashed via odin. Didn't boot up. Flashed custom kernel (AGNI PURESTOCK), then booted...
Still same watermark and wont connect with qpst.
Any ideas?
After i flashed lenovo k3 note with CWM recovery and installed SuperSu-v2.46 using PDAnet [CWM] , i am getting black screen after lenovo logo. After that i tried clearing data, cache and dalvik cache but nothing helped. I can get into CWM recovery. So I tried to reflash CWM recovery but again the same problem. I had the same problem with my friend's phone, what his phone was running was twrp but we tried to install cwm and same problem occured in his phone too. I think the problem is with recovery. Please help me how to flash twrp recovery or flash back to stock recovery.
Same with me.
