Greetings, i open a new discussion and Q&A thread as i notice many has spam the cm11 development thread. Also as there is no other thread open for Xperia V regarding of cm11 in this section so i might just open a thread so we can discuss our problem here, and leave the development thread clean for our device maintainers.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, move to this thread to discuss problem, bug, and many others problems at here, only post to development thread if you have found a solution.
THANK YOU...
Does somebody encounters the lost sound after using phone for long time?
I notice my V running CM11 have this problem randomly, some time the sound just disappear, and there is no sound if somebody is calling, or message me..weird....

just notice the problem, whenever i adjust my clock manually (cause i play game) the ringtone and notification will randomly go out, and reboot will bring back the sound again, the in game music/sound does not get infected..sound bug maybe??
Using 20140107 nightlies till now, so far all is fine, except for camera, the picture taken is a little yellowish..i have change to Camera JB+, and the picture seem better compare to stock camera app
For those that using CM Gapps, PA Gapps, or others, you can go to( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2012857 ) as the Gapps provided is really up to date, and most of all, the General Package is ART Runtime compatible, at least i have no problem till now
The Credit goes to BaNkS for sharing this wonderful Gapps..
battery drains quite fast. That's the only problem for me.

if compare with cm10.1 and 10.2, the battery drain problem is really much improved..i cannot go full day with cm10.1, 10.2, but in cm11 i can last till 11pm and charge when go to bed..
On nightlies 20140111 ART suddenly increase the random reboot, have to roll back to Dalvik also, i notice the transparency notification bar introduce since CM11 also cause random reboot, have to use other launcher ( APEX,Nova ) and disable transparency to get stable daily use..( APEX not ART compatible ) will try other setting see can get less random reboot or not
Since i saw many talking about wifi connection on few latest nightlies, i decided to try configure my wifi setting on both router and phone, my router setting only support 2.4ghz wireless n connection max( D-Link DSL-2750e ), so i configure my phone with the same frequency..
And to my notice, the wifi connection is indeed not stable, i get a lot of disconnection whenever i go far with my router, like going up stair, no problem with my laptop, but if i set my frequency band to auto, the problem gone..
Changing security key either WEP, WPA, WPA2, i did not notice any difference, but if i choose WPA, WPA2 with combination of TKIP or AES, problem occur, my phone wifi will spend lot of time on authenticating and hard to get a connection, and if i choose auto mode, problem gone..
So to my conclusion, best setting for router is use:
Wireless Mode: 802.11n
Channel: 1-11
Authentication Type: WPA2-PSK / WPA-PSK
Encryption: AUTO
Phone wifi setting:
Leave the setting intact, with all AUTO for best performance..
After trying many other setting and apps on the 20140111 nightlies build, i found out condition that will increase changes for blue screen reboot, i test it with ART enabled, here is what i found:
- Transparency Notification Bar ( When entering app, the notification bar will become solid, and when exiting app, just after the transparency bar return, reboot occur. Use Nova launcher, close the Transparency bar setting, no random reboot again )
- Live Wallpaper ( try many live wallpaper, all the same result, increase random reboot. Use normal wallpaper the problem gone )
- Apps that access Camera ( Whenever apps want to access the camera, some time it will cause reboot )
- Set CPU ( Don't set cpu frequency for apps, as this result many random reboot, set min/max have no problem )
- Bluetooth ( use A2DP and transfer file at the same time, random reboot increase. If just listen to music, or transfer file at a time, no problem )
Well, this is what i found during my test, i notice under ART, many apps that i use always FC. The other day when i switch back to Dalvik, the apps is running fine, miss the feeling with no FCs..but app really snappy under ART, hope app dev can support more ART at future..
Also, when i use Dalvik, no matter what app i open and close, there is not a single reboot for a whole day, ART does some time have reboot, maybe this will be fixed when ART get stable..

Teamhacksung just released CM9 Alpha (Build 15).
I am currently on Team ICSSGS RC3.1 release and very satisfied. I even managed to work out a known issue about the screen flashing for a split second after locking screen by flashing the Devil Kernel.
Is there anyone else in my shoes who's considering going over to teamhacksung's release? Anyone tried them both?
I would like to see how many soldiers each side has and compare opinions

i ve read that same quote somewhere before and i dont get it.
they re both designed to bring ics to i9000, therefore to me they fall under the same category
(i dont care much about the code differences and the ideology that each has adopted, i just care for which one is the most stable ICS rom for my phone)
and btw, i dont mind comparing apples and oranges, i hate oranges, i love apples
use cm9.issues are less.won't bug really bug u anyway.very stable.plus if u want overclock there
are custom kernels as well.

The custom kernels work fine on TEAMICS too...
Depends what you want, clean ICS (TEAMICS) or customized (CM9).

i dont care much about costumization at this early point. if they were both stable it would a whole other story but now,
i prefer more stable over more customizable. however since build 15 is actually a cm9 alpha now,
i m wondering if it's stability is enough to worth the transition

this is the reason icssgs is the one for now for me ...
haven't tries ICSSGS yet... working on CM9 foe almost 2 weeks now and its pretty decent... stable too... one thing that bugs me is how little mods are available for CM9 at this point... however CM9 for SGS2 is littered with mods... some quite useful (like ANZO MOD)... whats it like for ICSSGS version?

Cm9 have more issue because it have more users, and I don't think those are only cm9 bugs, happend on onecosmic's as well

All based on ICS 4.0.3 source, so why? Because another team ports it to the GS? I think still Apples to Apples and they both do a good job..
onecosmic's team doesn't release all all issue .
CM9 is better and stabler. I traid onecosmic's RC3 and RC3.1 for a while but no that not comparable to CM9.
I am on teamhacksung build 15 and not going back to Samsung ROM or any other ROM because it's stable, smooth and fast.
It has issues and so does others, I can live with it.

im using CM9 alpha RC0 (TH 15)
theres not many working options in the menus yet but ive been getting really good battery life and performance from lulzactive governor after flashing devil kernels. Seems good so far but disappointed that the battery indicator option in the menus didnt work to change the battery icon to percentage. Il probably stick with CM9, big userbase so should keep getting frequent updates
I'm using CM9 Build 15 with Devil Kernel
it works grat =)
I would at this point go for the Teamhacksungs myself. There are a number of reasons, both stability and feature wise.
1. They offer control over visualisations.
2. They have quick setting available on the drop down tray
3. The media duplicate issue has been sorted
4. It doesnt lag and lose stablity when more apps are installed
5. I am not sure this is an experience of others, but I have found Teamhacksungs battery life far superior. (not by a lot though! maybe my battery is failing generally)
There are still a few glitches... I tried to go back to Gingerbread... man, after 5 days on ICS, its not possible to go back. Believe me. ICS is almost perfect.
Reason why I have always went with RC3.1 Over CM9 is because CM9 the text always looks terrible and all pixelated
Does this happen for other people? or just me
My choise is Teamhacksungs CM9 because of its stability and other stuff it has. I am proud user of Teamhaksungs since build 6 and i will never switch to onecosmics and ICSSGS because ICSSGS is built ontop of onecosmic's and both do not display a full list of bugs and glitches they have by only showing "what works" while CM9 offers a full list of what it can and can't do.
CM9 teams doesn't go away if some trolls spam their tread... Cant say the same for Onecosmic..
As I need something I can rely for some time, I prefer to go to the ROM that gives me more guarantees that there will be an upgrade path for the coming weeks...
Other than this I cant compare because I'me using only Teamhacksung builds for some time..
tried both

Personally, I had more issues with onecosmic rc3.1 (only had it installed for 3 days tbf) - not to say I haven't had any issues with cm9 build15 and build14 for a week before that, but generally I prefer both the stability and customisations of cm9 (eg power widget bar)
The fact that they know of, and are bothered enough to release a list of, the bugs encourages me that they're working on it
Also, I miss pvz but that's down to app incompatability with ics in general...

De-bloat/ Kill apps u don't use or never ever use. Battery life on 4.3 is insane runs all day for me with 20-25% drainage (average call, texts, emails on exchange) no issues at all. (Root it / Calibrate the battery for actual reading). Project butter does what it is suppose to. No lags at all. U need Lag Fix. Use Adblocker kill stupid apps delete system apps (only if u r aware of what u r deleting).
No bugs at all with Bluetooth/ wifi or NFC I use all of them in daily life and works like a charm. In other words now I can skype on wifi instead on 4g LTE (on my BB Q10) on 4.2.2 I faced too many problems. Chrome was recently updated and stable now.
For the rest release your stress and go for a different device.

UPDATE: Check post #2 for the updated information!
Hey guys, first off I know many are going to say "Another battery thread.." but I wanted to share what I have been doing to my Galaxy S5 and see what you guys are doing.
Device:
-Samsung Galaxy S5 (AT&T)
-Rooted (towelroot)
-Running The Extreme Debloated ROM below
-Stock battery
ROM: Being that we don't have any custom roms yet, less is more. You of course could use titanium backup or the like to freeze many of the apps, uninstall many of the bloat apps yourself or you could install the Extreme Debloated ROM from the link below.
[NCE}{SafeStrap]DeOdexed/Extreme Debloat/Stock/Android L Features/Under 400mb!
Screen: We all know the more dim the screen the better the battery life, I don't use auto brightness but some do.
Greenify: If you aren't using this yet, you should! Rooted or not, this app works!
Auto-Sync: If you can function without this, turn it off. All apps, change to sync less frequently.
CPU: If you are only using your device for simple tasks, underclock it. I have mine running at 300 MHz-1.498 GHz interactive cfq. Of course you can set the Governor to be on demand etc for when you need it. I use No-frills CPU Control
Llama: There are many apps that you can use but Llama is free and is easy to get going, check it out here. Below is what I have my events set to, of course there is a bit more to it (advanced settings, aka delays etc). I have the Llama events that I use attached below, just install Llama and then place the text file in the Llama folder (stored on the local sd, internal). Go to events and press the menu button, then import and select it.
Explanation Of Events For Llama:
1-When screen turns off, but is not in a call and music is not playing. Delay for 1 minute and then disable mobile data, disable wifi, run the shortcut (from greenify) "Hibernate Now", disable account sync. The delay can be customized, but I like it at 1 minute. I have read from Intelli3G that turning the signals on and off can effect battery life, so previously I had it with no delay. This is fine if you don't turn your phone on and off too often.
2-When screen turns on, enable mobile data, enable wifi, enable account sync (but don't update). This is straight forward, turn it all back on. You can select the account sync to update if you want.
3-Wifi off if not connected when screen turns on. Delay for 40 seconds and then disable wifi if not connected. Since event #2 turns on the wifi by default, this will turn it off if it is not connected to a network.
4-Mobile data off if on wifi. When the phone connects to wifi, delay for 45 seconds and then disable mobile data. You will still get texts/calls etc, but not use data of the network.
5-Mobile data on when wifi off. Just as event #4 but the reverse, since we turned off mobile data while the wifi was on we need to turn it on. No delay, because we want it back right away.
6-Phone powered on. When the phone turns on, delay for 30 seconds and then run the greenify hibernate now shortcut. You can increase the delay if you have any processes starting up on boot.
AFWall+: Any firewall app will do just fine, but if you want to specify the IPv6 support (4G) then this one works great! Just realize it is default to selecting apps allowed to use the network (aka white list), which for me is just the browser/messaging/swiftkey. I have a toggle widget set on my screen that I turn on/off depending if I need anything special (use the market/youtube etc). This keeps them from using the network, thus saving your battery.
Autostart Processes: You can use many apps to change this, but I used SD Maid. Turn off anything you don't need running in the background (facebook etc).
Ads: Might not save much, but blocking ads will help on your data usage at least. I like Adaway. I also like to patch the apps from using ads (paranoid much?), I would think that covering two bases is better than one. Use Luckpatcher for this.
Apps: Back on my first smart phone (Palm Pre), we didn't have specific apps at first for normal things like facebook so we used the browser for the majority of our needs. You can use instagram/facebook/email etc all via the browser, thus reducing app usage in the background (data use, push notifications etc). I have tried fast for facebook and many small email clients, but you are sacrificing lots. The mobile pages work close to the app, better than a clone app. If you are like me I like the style and functionality of facebook/gmail/instagram, but I have not found any apps that pull this off very well outside of the official ones. Being you can block the apps via firewall and force stop them with greenify it does help, but apps like facebook/gmail they keep checking for updates and keep running causing wakelocks. Some apps like AquaMail seem to do the trick for me.
Xposed Framework: I LOVE the functionality that it provides, as it reminds me of the modding that we had back on WebOS but with these frameworks running in the background it causes some battery lose.
Closing Notes: There are many other options and possibilities depending on how you use your phone, and of course your mileage may vary. These are from my own testing and readings, some things may not even help or be very effective but this is why I am posting this. Let us share what works best for our device! Being I don't run XPosed I can't use Intelli3G, but since I am cutting off data where I can it helps. I would be interested in putting my phone in 2G/3G/4GLTE with a button click, might be possible with Llama but I haven't tried.

can you post up some screen shots of your battery life / stats?
I'm on stock, rooted, bloat is frozen. I'm using grernify for games and other apps I don't use regularly or don't rely on for push notifications. I use adaway for ad blocking.
with just those steps taken, and using the phone as a smartphone, I can easily get 20+ hours off charger and a screen use of 5 hours.
I understand what you're trying to do here but what is the point of diminishing returns?
I have gotten around the 18 hour mark, but out of the box I was only getting around 12. I will try getting an accurate screenshot and try out a few other settings. Our batteries may vary slightly I'm sure, and at some point I bet there are diminishing returns like with underclocking. I will test it out and report back
Thanks for the input @Russ77

Can't put this thing down. Battery is great, I'm always on it and get almost 7 hours screen time before I throw it on the charger. For me I keep the screen on the lower setting with auto turned off and screen set to dynamic for that deep, bold color.

+1
I'm at 4 hours 17 minutes screen use and have 42% battery remaining. I'll easily surpass 7 hours of screen use and probably 20 hours total battery.
when idle on mobile signal my phone consumes about 1%/hr. if I wasn't playing couch potato today (its 107 outside) and was doing stuff I'd use around 6 hours of screen time and could go 30 hours total battery time.
this is all with no battery saving measures taken other than greenifying all banking and game apps.

Yes, to play devil's advocate here:
The apps and tweaks are going to make some difference, but it's more about how you use your phone, rather than doing a bunch of tweaks and modifications, which many of us have done at some point or another (the same tweaks but maybe with different apps and Roms).
I've seen posts around here talking about getting 3 and 4 days average, and sometimes 5 days of battery, and I always say that's because you all don't use your phone that much.
It's all about how you use your phone. I only get up to 48 hours with moderate use; that's terrible battery life by the standards around here; and with heavy use, with my brightness cranked up because I like my colors pretty and bright, and with consistently playing games all day, I'm only getting about 4 and a half hours screen on time. That battery life might be 7 hours or 2 full days, depending on how much else I'm doing with the phone.
I love how I posted this thread to help others but instead it is just getting people to post about the opposite.. I just got 54+ hours out of the OEM battery, but I am sure nothing I did helped.. Insert sarcasm here.

Oh, I don't doubt the 54 hours battery life. Like I said, the apps and tweaks are going to make some difference. But it all depends on how you use your phone. I'm not going to get 54 hours battery, even if I use your phone because of what I do. I'm playing games, or streaming radio, or watching movies or Youtube, and that's not all day, and with my screen bright.
Just me personally, I don't like to worry too much about how much battery life I'm getting. When I start doing that, then I find myself going out my way and doing things different (such as frequently checking the battery stats and stretching the phone's downtime) like I would not normally do, trying to see how much battery that I can actually get, instead of just enjoying the phone as I would normally use it.
When I had my old HTC Evo a few years back, I was doing everything that you're doing, and then some (as you can find several of these threads for every phone), trying to get every little ounce of juice that I could out that miserable battery. Same type apps and Roms, just different names. I had apps that turned off Wifi, data, bluetooth, and even crashed the phone once in a while. I actually got used to turning my screen brightness all the way down so that I could barely see anything. And it was great having a Rom so de-bloated, that I got a chance to find out what was missing when I got lost driving and needed directions. Yeah, it made a difference in the battery all right.

Hibernate App
Running @cstayton bo3 Kool kit active rom and have phenomenal battery life. No spare apps here. Turned on power save mode at 18%.
Watched two episodes of dexter, a little over half an hour on dead space, 4 short phone calls, a hand full of text and a few hours on the Web and using the xda app.

I was/am having some issue importing the events for Llama I was wondering if I am doing something wrong or...? Is there a specific way of importing it?
Hey guys quick question I'm an avid user of power saving mode (not UPSM) but I feel it could do better so I've been working on my own profile in tasker to better extend my battery. My question is what's the CPU underclocked to in power saving mode

How many cores does it under clock
Android M has been released to the world as a developer preview, and like the L Preview, M Preview has its fair share of bugs. This is place to collect them. Comment the bugs you find and I will update the OP with them.
System
WiFi
1. WiFi intermittently disconnects
UI
1. System crashes occasionally using System Tuner
2. Ripple effect on buttons is choppy
3. Quick Settings animations sometimes don't fire
4. Shutdown button is oversized
5. Sometimes Quick Settings don't reset properly
6. Sometimes launcher won't reload when enabling debug options
7. WiFi Icon in status bar occasionally flashes
8. Persistent notifications don't always open the app itself
9. Flashlight bug (leaving flashlight on kills flashlight and camera)
10. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61126237&postcount=32
Launcher
1. GEL sometimes changes folder names
Widgets
1. Sometimes widgets don't load
Media
1. 1080p playback disabled in Youtube
2. Pictures and videos are sometimes upside-down
3. USB OTG drive formatted as NTFS doesn't work
4. USB configuration always stick to PTP after unplug, need manually change to MTP in developer option.
Now
1. Voice Responses sometimes don't function
2. "OK Google" doesn't wake/unlock the phone
3. Going to Google now on the left and quickly pressing the home button a bunch of times will return you to Google now instead of your home screen
Multi window
1. Recents lags with userdebug build flag
2. Status bar color doesn't update sometimes
Other
1. Encryption is broken, will corrupt phone, requiring reinstall of M
2. Setting a timer over 1 hour appears to sleep the clock itself
3. The pattern screen lock is buggy, can sometimes unlock the phone without connecting the last dot
Apps
Soundcloud
1. Running soundcloud in the background, when it goes to the next track, the audio stutters every half second or so. It's fixed by manually going back one track and then manually going forward one track. The problem only seems to come up if it automatically goes to the next track.
App Glitches
1. Choosing a emoticon on Telegram/Stellarium will crash the app
2. Android Wear app continuously crashes. A reinstall works temporarily but it eventually returns
3. When installing an app via the play store using the three dots, the floating page sometimes doesn't come up.
4. MyBackup is not able to restore app data for any app
Incompatible Apps (Instant Crash)
Waze
9GAG
Evernote
Dolphin Browser
MX Player Pro (WORKAROUND: Use latest nightly http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/j2-inte...-apk-download/ )
Sometimes Widgets dont load
Recents are laggy (most of time) when setting the build type to userdebug(Multi Window)
Statusbar sometimes wont update its color when using Multi Window
The shutdown button on power menu is oversized, so the animation when pressing it dosen´t cover all of it
Sometimes quick settings wont reset, even after clicking the reset button on SystemUI Tuner
Sometimes, when turning on some debug options, launcher will not reload, rebooting fixes it
Thats what i´ve seen so far, definetly for me a DD, since those are mostly about experimental features, the system itself is pretty stable for me

I've seen this as well. Flashed using flash.all with a wipe and set it up as a new device.
GEL sometimes changes the names of folders on the home screen. When you open the folder the name is correct though.
I have wifi disabling every minute or so. adb dumps show this to be ipv6 related - it's mishandling the case where a neighbour discovery record goes stale - it treats it as a major fault and resets the entire wifi subsystem, whereas it's just normal behaviour akin to the arp cache timing out (L handles this just fine so I'm not sure what they've been doing that could stuff it up).
I might take the laptop & phone down to costa coffee tomorrow if I have time and test it in a v4 only environment.. I reckon it'll be stable, but it's worth the test.
When using media apps like audible the persistent notification on the status menu does not open the app it give the info page or to close app.

Cool, yeah I can confirm the WiFi issue. I thought it was my router bugging out, but my logs also show the stale neighbor discovery record. Let us know how it goes, if it is ipv6 specific or not.

Use the flashlight for a long time with the screen off
2-5 mins or so, sometimes it'll shutoff with no way to turn it back on/access the camera until you reboot
i took a picture with messenger the picture was upside down
choosing a emoticon on telegram will crash the app.
same goes to stellarium
Going to Google now on the left and quickly pressing the home button a bunch of times will return you to Google now instead of your home screen

Tried using the NTFS pendrive with third party app? Like es file explorer?

Tried Solid Explorer, but M is not rooted so it doesn't work. Works perfectly in rooted Lollipop. However, Lollipop doesn't have built-in USB OTG file browser who doesn't require root, M does.
When I try to install an app via the play store using the three dots, the floating page doesn't come up. Only happens sometimes though

SlimKat is a V4 (KitKat) ROM by SlimRoms. It's based on AOSP 4.4.4. Its latest release, build 9.0, was Dec-22 2014 with a 3.0.8 kernel.
Its disadvanatges are that it is no longer supported by the Slim dev team; no custom overclock kernels exist for it; no hand-wave for notifications lockscreen feature of the later 5.0+ versions; and there's no support for altpart Safestrap.
But that's where its downsides end and its upsides begin. With nearly any 3rd-party ROM it's a series of tradeoffs. What works and what doesn't, what do you need and what can you do without. Not so with SlimKat. Everything, and I mean everything, just... works. Flawlessly. Even HDMI. This ROM is feature-rich, yet still so lean you can run it with Slim's normal Gapps package on the stock slot. At 180MB, Slim's normal Gapps package is 15MB smaller than the OpenGapps nano package for 7.1.2. I've been running this as a daily driver for over a month and not a single thing has gone wrong with it. No force-closes. No hangs. No jitters. No crashes. No random reboots. This is as close to a stock ROM's stability and performance as anything I've ever used. It's fast and responsive and handles whatever you throw at it. All that and great battery life too - I typically get about 36-44 hours from a full charge.
Support for 4.4.4 is extensive throughout the app community and I have yet to find an app that doesn't work with it. Custom fonts are easily installed with iFont and there are extensive interface and navigation customizations available in the SlimCenter. Cyanogenmod/LineageOS 11 themes are available for it on the Play Store.
The stock SlimLauncher is extensively configurable, and supports gestures, desktop folders, grid size configuration, icon size configuration, hidden apps, hidden icon labels and much more. I prefer a horizontally paged interface for my app drawer, and this one works exactly as this should work, where you swipe left or right and each page of app icons disappears behind the next, rather than a continuous side-scroll. This is especially important on the Droid 4 because of its TFT screen's limitations that make things difficult to read when continuously scrolling against a dark background.
While most ROMs will let you disable some system apps, SlimKat has a SlimSizer app in the SlimCenter settings that lets you save or fully remove any included system app from a simple checklist. SU is integrated and the ROM is rooted out-of-the-box. Google Voice works seamlessly with it. Voice Search starts up quickly and doesn't hang or crash, and interactions with it are predictable. The built-in WiFi hotspot works flawlessly. It natively supports Face Unlock.
Its sole quirks are that the keyboard doesn't illuminate when you slide it open until you press a key, and direct reboot to recovery doesn't work (just do a standard reboot and activate SafeStrap recovery at startup).
Verdict: Hands down, the overall best 3rd party ROM I've tested for the Droid 4. Rock-solid, OEM-level reliability and performance in a compact yet feature-rich package with outstanding battery life. If you don't require a newer version of Android (5+) for app compatibility or features, and don't want the code-bloat of the later versions, you simply can't do better than SlimKat on the Droid 4.
Thank you for this!
I was hoping there were some posts like this, but it being 2018 I wasn't optimistic...
just picked up a droid 4 to have a backup phone and for a bit of nostalgia - I had an OG droid that I kind of miss using
Update: After six months with SlimKat, I'm moving on. There's only one real problem I've had with it, but it's been really annoying. Frequently it just won't wake up the screen - the soft buttons light up, but the screen stays blank. It can often take several attempts before it works, if at all - usually after the third try I just give up and wait it out until the next time I want to check it. This is especially frustrating when receiving a call, as I've often missed calls just waiting for it to wake up the screen so I can answer it. Never been able to track down the cause or figure out a solution.
There's also a strange problem in the file system that there are "ghost" files throughout. Blanks show up randomly throughout my gallery, and duplicates of music and videos also work their way in, confusing the database and making it difficult and sometimes impossible to play back these files. I tried clearing app data for the Gallery and rescanning, even moving files to new folders, but it would only fix it temporarily and eventually these would come back. My gallery would show I had 1200 pictures when I had at most 350, and my music library would also show five copies of the same song, only one of which would actually play. I thought maybe these were ghosts of deleted files, but could never be sure. I used an alternate gallery app, QuickPic, and it worked normally without the blanks.
The hotspot feature had issues as well. It would pass the traffic for the connected devices, but after a while it would stop working for the apps on the phone itself, until I shut it off.
I'm not sure if it's a possible problem in my phone either, so I'm trying something different.
