Antutu crashes with 21% at testing cpu float performance and phone reboots.
Same as for MX Video Player, totally random while playback. No matter if CM 10.1, 10.2 or 11.
Back to stock as there must be something way off, if calling the hardware like this does something like that.

Please all people who're using this ROM I need a help. All functions which I need is working very well. But a BIG problem is a camera - VIDEO RECORDING. Now I have set only High settings. 720p. Video is with 30fps but every 30sec is laggy and when my recording ends, it can't be played on my PC or TV May I try newer build or this problem is with all builds of CM7 Nightly Please help me with this.
I have HD, High and Low + a few others. HD is 1928x1088 @ 30fps.
Which kernel are u using? I tried flash new kernel through Updater and I marked - higher bitrate in video recording. But same issue Video is laggy and it can't be played on TV or PC
And I know this settings which you have I also have it in Camera application. But my problem is video playback. It's laggy every 30sec and when I done with recording, I can't play my recorded video on my laptop or FullHD TV
I'm using stock (well, built by me from the stock source) kernel and build #123
CMW flashable zip?
http://www.mediafire.com/file/si7n8tetl9o1va2/kernel290811.zip
Now I flashed build #124 and still I have a BIG problem with camera application!! Please HOW CAN I SOLVE IT? When I switch to HD or HIGH settings, phone is recording well for a 30sec. Then is LAGGY every 5sec. How can I solve it. I tried OC my phone to 1,4GH and I also set settings for PERFORMANCE. Not for POWERSAVE. And same problem. Could anyone tell me HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS PROBLEM?
Fellow optimus black and android users.....whenever i try to watch a full movie on the device...halfway through, the video gets choppy(the video plays a little slower) and there is a discernible audio-video lag...it has happened with all the movies i have watched so far(all good quality dvdrips which worked perfectly fine on the laptop).......and adding to it the music player opens randomly and arbitrarily while watching movies..which really is annoying..i dunno why it happens.......i have tried the stock player,mx player as well as mobo player.....but the result is the same....Can anyone help me with this??is this a problem only on my device or are there others out there who have experienced the same? Some help on this issue would be appreciated
P.S:The device is brand new and it's barely a week(as on may 23rd) since i purchased it and have watched 8 movies on this with the same result.
anything under 720p should play just fine. maybe you have some background apps running that might affect the player.
you should update your software. that will surely solve the glitch.
off: how come the cowon d3 which is inferior in terms of specs can play full hd mkv but the ob can't?
Hmmmm.......okk Mr Orange i'll try your suggestion and come back to you..thanks for the tip anyway...........
Sounds like some sort of buffering issue as a result of RAM issues either inherently from hardware or more likely some background services.
Have you tried running the movie in s/w or h/w mode? Changing the bit depth?
What software are you running? Stock Froyo, Gingerbread or a modded OS?
Funky Ganja.....it's gingerbread, the stock version

I notice when running CM 10.1 or CM 10.2 there is noticeable audio lag (audio is behind video by a fraction of a second). You Tube seems fine.
I reverted to stock, installed Netflix and the audio lag does not exist.
Anyone else had this issue and if so have you found a fix for it?
Well...no CM roms work with Netflix on my 2 HD+ devices..the audio lags behind the video even after tweaking all the settings I can think of.
I'll stick with rooted stock rom running Go Launcher EX where Netflix runs perfectly.
It's a shame because I run CM 10.2 on my Nexus 7 with no issues whatsoever and was hoping to continue using it on the HD+
If anyone has any suggestions to fix this I'd love to hear them.
I've recently noticed that my music playback stutters and even cut off at times when my screen is off, but it's completely smooth when screen is on. I'm on CM 14.1 20161225 build with Halogen kernel screen-off clocked at 300 MHz. Does anyone know the cause of this problem?

Try setting screen off frequency to a higher one?

I tried that as well and music still stutters
Try changing music player

It feels as being a problem of custom kernel,
Is the problem there without it?
FPS Always Drop
Bad for playing game
Excellent for Camera
But big no for gaming
Noticed the same thing while playing YouTube videos at [email protected]/60fps at 2x speed. The video is smooth for the most part untill what I would describe as the CPU throttles and I get choppy video for about 5 seconds or so and then it resumes regular smooth playback.
It could also be that the CPU doesn't throttle at that point because the phone isn't extremely hot at that point and it could just be that some background process just starts at that time causing lag. I've read that for some users, writing to the memory (internal) causes the system to freeze so it could be a case that there is a process that occasionally writes to the memory in the background which isn't handled well and causes some lag.
Opinions on this theory?

I think stock kernel is bad, limited by thermal throttling, because for stability battery life, not for performance.
We must waiting the dev release custom rom or custom kernel
