Its not a battery issue....it seems if you do a factory reset the drivers are deleted from the phone itself....rendering the device useless.

I don't know much about TWRP, can you provide a Logfile so we can see what part of the script produced this error?
Otherwise try using the latest TWRP if you don't do this yet or use CWM/Philz

for flashing recovery you need a PC, at least I don't know about another way you have to connect it via usb, reboot your phone to fastboot and use this commands from your fastboot folder on your PC (recovery.img needs to be in same folder)
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Thank you very much I ll try it

You have to put your phone to fastboot mode first. Reboot it and when the screen goes dark press and hold volume down button.

yes this can be a problem for updating. you have to be completely stock to be able to install an OTA update. I posted a guide before how to revert everything. I think this is the easiest way.
but root is not the cause that you can't flash your stock recovery. Is your One recognized by your computer correctly? To be sure that the drivers are OK and the right ones you can install HTC Sync

I do not think that usb debugging have anything to do with Odin. It only need to be checked when you are in system, and you want to use ADB.
Install Samsung drivers, go to Download mode, open Odin and see if it recognize it.
P.S. Use back USB port of PC if you are using desktop. Do not use front.
Second solution, apart from using Odin is to go to recovery mode and install ROM (you probably have some on your SD?). Non of the format options in Recovery will not format partition where Recovery is. If you can't go to recovery, then you messed up something else.
Wow..its worked...i already install new rom with odin n setting up n install samsung usb driver...its worked..cheers...ur all the best bro...5 stars...

fastboot commands work, but adb commands do not. Windows will not recognize my HTC One, no matter what drivers I install. I am unable to update the drivers for the device in device manager (it appears as "One" under other devices). btw, the phone has no ROM installed. Will this create problems when trying to recognize the device in Windows?
Thanks!

Adb only works within a working os or in recovery.
If you PC is not recognizing fastboot/adb drivers, install them from here
http://koush.com/post/universal-adb-driver
and also read here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52135024&postcount=2
You can push or sideload a custom ROM to your phone in recovery.

My pleasure, that's how we all learn... reading, sharing knowledge, understanding it. We're all born sort of ignorant (at least most of us ) and learn along the way.
Keep up the good job!! :good: :good:
