Just wondering if anyone knows if the battery for the Droid 3 is the same as the one for the OG Droid / Droid 2. I have a few of the extended batteries from my original Droid and thought it'd be cool if I could use them in a D3 if I bought one.
Thanks!

Definitely not the same. Was a little cranky about that at first. Had an extra battery and standalone battery charger for my OG Droid. Gave them to my sister along with the phone. lol
Its not the same. THe Droid 3 battery is slimmer and taller.
I have an Energizer Qi wireless conductive charging pad and Bionic conductive charging cover for sale. I don't use them nearly as much as I thought I would. Anyone interested?

I have a spare note 2 charger would it be fine to use on my one? Or would it effect my battery?

Does anyone know for sure if the moto x will support wireless charging. Google searching has given me mixed results.

Don't think there was every any mention of it through the official website under specs.
Nope no wireless charging. Only one that does is the new Droids. (atleast the Maxx does)
Then I'll quietly hope the new nexus fits

Nexus 4
The Nexus 4 is Qi enabled as well – not that it helps the Moto X users.

Yep. This is due to the curved custom battery and back, whereas the droids have a flat back.
I had a nexus 4 for about 3 months and ended up selling it off. I'm a field tech and travel into a lot of fringe areas and I was really unimpressed with its signal reception.... Yes, I had the correct APN and I'm actually using a unlocked gnex right now and it has much better signal. My gnex does have qi charging since I modded it to support it.

moto x
i think it will support qi
http://mobileandphone.com/motorola-moto-x-vs-droid-ultra/ They say that it does in fact have native qi charging.

Clearly they have no idea at all. They don't even appear to have a phone, it is probably just someone's blog. They show zero proof that it does, also everything has pointed to it not having it unfortunately.
Didn't ifixit's teardown show inductive coils?

That was for NFC.
I looked at the ifixit too, def no coil heavy enough to be a receiver coil.

So my phone is having issues charging. I just bought a battery replacement but part of me really believes the actual port to be the issue. Anyone know if the port is replaceable? If not, it's probably just time for a new phone.
I assume you have tried another charger and cable? Inspected and cleaned charging port?

Yup. All of those things.

Got the qi charger, charges slow and not good for road trips.
