Wifi low signal

Does anyone else have the same problem as me, it seems that WiFi has a low signal ever since I upgraded to stock ics

[Q] Low Wi-fi signal?

Is it just my phone or it is this model in general? I'm sitting next to the router and I only get 50% signal strength. If I move like 5 meters away, I often get around 25% signal strength. Previuously, I had HTC Desire and it used to catch the signal perfectly - 100% in the room where router is and 75-50% signal strength in other spots. Anyone facing same problem?

Did you try to use another modem ?

Well, no I did not but I have to admit that my modem has been changed before I got SGS. Can this be the problem?

Try to use devil kernel as I said, with devil kernel you will be able to catch stronger Wi-Fi: )

Signal issues

Rather strange issue, the phone loses it's signal ie the 3g symbol goes away and sometimes the WiFi .. than it pops back on.. anyone else experience this?

Yes, I can go from 4g to 3g and sometimes even to no signal while sitting in the same spot

Have you tried updating PRL and Profile? Just a thought

Do you have sleeping mode turned on? It is in settings, power.

[Q] Stock N7000 with Straight talk Extremely low signal or none at all

I have a Galaxy Note N7000 and the signal strength is terrible. It always drops to no signal. If i'm lucky, its at 1 or 2 bars. Completely stock phone. What should i do? I watched a video on youtube about this problem but it didnt seem useful at all.

Have you checked your apn's? It's possible you can edit them for something more suitable.

I am facing a minor problem in this baseband.. I detect 3,4 times that there is no network n the signal sign changed to cross but after few seconds it comes back. But wondering why it does happens?

That's not firmware issue, that's resul of having aluminum/steal frame.
It has been reported that Z1 could lose signal in low signal area because it has that kind of frame/body...
