Hi guys please help me...
Some how managed to soft brick my phone while updating to KitKat now all that happens is Google appears then goes to a blue screen with little lines all over it, no idea how to fix it.
It was a converted GPE version running 4.3. I have TWRP recovery installed and can access that but there is no back up file or recovery file or something similar.. how do i get a stock rom, get it onto the phone and install it?
I also have adb installed on my laptop but only know a few basic commands.. seriously need some help here..
Thanks

seriously mate, do some searching, don't wanna sound rude, but this has been asked & answered about a gazillion times.
anyway, one of three methods to get a ROM onto your phone:
1- OTG cable
2- adb push, as in "adb push <name of rom>.zip /data/media/"
3- adb sideload, as in "adb sideload <name of rom>.zip"
adb command work in custom recovery.
it is alive again.. i had seen your answer to another soft brick issue but the things i was doing was not working, however now it is, so thank you.
Hi guys, the thing is that i have a Galaxy S I9000b, with a broken power button, and a bad CWM ROM. I installed CWM recovery through fastboot mode, but i can't access it. Also i have tried removing "--no-reboot" from de command in heimdall, it reboots, but it stucks on the first boot screen (device model and brand). Also i can't boot the device, so i can't install any app to reboot in recovery mode. There is a way to boot recovery mode with a battery trick or through fastboot? Or even flash CWM ROM through fastboot? There is a way so that after installing the kernel it reboots automatically into recovery? Thanks beforehand, hope you can help me. (Sorry for my bad english, i'm from Chile )

You can enter your recovery mode with ADB prompts.
Here is a nice thread about simple solution:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1474956
And here you can find much more about ADB:

Quote me again if you need more help, but try yourself upon the guides, all is very well described there. Also there are plenty of tutorial videos on YouTube about how to use ADB.

Hey, thanks for the help, but the thing is that i can't access the phone OS, so i can't enable USB debugging to start ADB, by the way i'm a little bit noob in this ADB thing, but i have installed android SDK, java and the drivers, i don't know if i need anything else. When in the command prompt i type "adb devices" but no device is recognized. Please help! Thanks beforehand

Ouch, you're really in uncomfortable situation
I consider as best you can do to try to flash a stock ROM with Odin. I don't know if it will work, as your USB debugging isn't enabled (I must admit that I've never disabled it). I hope it will work!
If it works, it will result in data loss. Your photos and music will probably remain, but SMS, calls, contacts and all else will be lost. If you flash the same ROM you've used before your system crashed, you may be able to restore with Titanium app all the backups you did.
You can inforce your phone to run in the download mode by connecting an USB jig, that can be bought on eBay for ca $2. I hope our forum mate @xsenman will post for you more usable info, he is an angel of helping in such situations and knows specific questions about i9000B better than me. I am more familiar with the i9000

Basically, IF you cannot enter download mode because of power button, you can use other methods, look here in My Android Solutions for recovery / download mode solutions
You cannot use fastboot for Samsung galaxy phones, its all done by Odin3, heimdall or Mobile Odin , so go here and download the required files to flash. or i9000B Roms :- here & here or here for original stock ROM's
If you already had a ROM, and unable to boot you can flash a i9000B kernel to see IF it boots, from above link. For Normal Flash procedure look here
You only follow the procedure with the ROM's meant for i9000B, do not use other ROM's meant for other devices

Well hello... I've been reading through the threads on the internet but could not find an answer to my question.
I'm using flashtool to root my phone and to get cwm recovery. As I plug in my phone (turned off, volume pressed up, bootloader unlocked but not rooted) I'm getting the message Device must be connected in ADB mode. I didn't get this message before. I've rooted my phone then unrooted it with the official 5.0.2 rom.
The question is: how do I root my phone again and add cwm recovery to make myself able to flash new roms and stuff on my phone.
I've flashed cwm recovery from the containing folder using the fastboot command but it doesn't seem to work anymore.
Thank you for your answers in advance and have a good day!

root with kingroot http://androidxda.com/download-kingroot-application and then use this guide http://www.w0lfdroid.com/2015/05/How-to-Remove-Replace-KingUser-KingRoot-with-SuperSU.html?m=1 to replace kingroot with Supersu
then use this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mkrtchyan.recoverytools&hl=el to install the recovery you want
PS: why did you unroot your phone in the first place?_? You cant use recovery without root.!
Okay. So I was playing around in the stock recovery on my Tab A8 SM-X200 and stumbled upon something I have never seen before on any Samsung device. Usually there are no ADB commands that work in the stock recovery except the adb sideload command that you use to flash an update.zip file. Well if you select the option to update using ADB you can enter into another recovery mode by using adb reboot-rescue. this command only works while you are in the stock recovery and only while you are using the update using ADB option. It will reboot into a different recovery mode called rescue mode. You have no options and cant seem to do anything in this mode but ADB is fully active and the screen says "Waiting for rescue commands" I havent figured out any of the commands nor could I do anything but reboot from this mode but i tried it on the Tab S3 and Tab S6 as well as the A7 from the previous year and this seems to be the only device that has this rescue mode. Just wanted to share my find and hopefully someone will figure out how to use it.
