Trying to move and Flash ROM after i deleted system in recovery anyway i can be sucessful? All replies are helpful.
2 threads wasn't enough? Seriously, you're just going to confuse people which will only make it harder on you . I posted the link to the rsdlite thread, read it ,download your sbf firmware and flash using rsdlite

I rooted and unlocked the bootloader and now trying to flash CM10.1 on my sisters phone
But I am getting that Error some users have reported: "p880" || getprop ("ro.build.product") == "p880"
E:error in /external_sd/cm-10.1
I know this is to do with CWM. But even TWRP is saying failed. And I flashed CWM with the toolkit.
I was foolish enough not to backup the stock ROM. can someone tell me step by step how to solve this PLEASE? otherwise I will become the worst brother ever lol

Ive just made things worse now which is also my bad but I guess I panicked.
Tried flashing back to old ICS. now it will not boot or boot into recovery from the boot LG sign
No os? Kdz reflash then. Or you can get the modded/fixed files from the general section

fine ^^
flash kdz via kdz flash tool (tutorial is on sticky in general), root, install rom manager, install latest cwm, download cm and install it from cwm.
Possible solution
I was getting the same error while trying to install CM and I tried this (Used google), that worked for me.
You do this with 7-Zip/WinRAR
Note: DO NOT EXTRACT ROM!
In the ROM go to:
/META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script
1)Open updater-script with a script editor such as notepad/notepad++ (makes things 10x easier), or gedit if you use linux
2)Delete the first line of code (all the way up to the first semicolon you see) and delete the first semi-colon as well
Do not go past the first semicolon when deleteing and DO NOT forget to delete the first semicolon.
Cheers!
Now please stop posting this problem on everyone's ICS ROMs.....
Someone make this a sticky please
Bootloader flash dosnt work on ics.. You have to flash first the v20a again.. then bootloader unlock like the explanations here on generaly section.. Then flash the bootloader at fastboot or u install the rommanager app from playstore and let the app this work do.
Sorry for por english

Hi!
I'm wanting to install that unofficial CM 11 for my international I9305, already running TWRP 2.6.3.0 on it and apparently i need to use the custom recoveries posted in the thread.
My question is though, how do i flash the .img files using odin, or an app, or is it possible to do with twrp itself booted up into recovery ? i've searched high and low, and just can't seem to find a straight answer - so here i am, bear with me, i'm tired
You can download an app called mobile Odin and use that to flash your .img files just using your phone!
You need to rename it to recovery.img for it to be detected though!

If there is another way than that, I'd appreciate it. I cannot purchase apps in the app store currently. So that's unfortunately a no go
CM 11 Q&A thread ???
As you dont have a clue about anything suggest you start by reading the basic faqs and guides before bricking your phone .
Basics read first.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2344125
Critical you read the first two posts .
Didn't see that thread at all until earlier as a second glance, i got plenty of clue though.
But an overload of information all pointing in different directions, each of them seeming to be correct is making me a little cautious when all i want is to know how i manually update my TWRP with the provided recovery.img file in that post, but i'll take my answer there instead for help.

Faqs flash zip via recovery flash tar via odin no if ands or buts .
But....! That wouldn't be a problem at all to flash, except what I was provided was a recovery.img file.. That's my hindrance currently
Flash it with mobile odin.

You can get the APK from his thread over here ---> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1347899
I know how to do all of this, but I can't do it without the stock firmware.:crying:
Here is the link to the forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/general/ref-complete-moto-x-guides-information-t2603358
I actually found tons of other forums too, but they all had the requirement of the stock firmware, and they all are pointing to the same link, to get the firmware.
Link: http://sbf.droid-developers.org/phone.php?device=0
But so, this website is down for some reason, and I need the stock firmware. If anyone has it and could upload it somewhere, that would be awesome. :good:

Flashing stock recovery back on your phone is the exact same process you took to flash a 3rd party recovery onto your phone, only using the stock Recovery.IMG file.
If you need instructions... then...
Link in my Signature has this info -> How To Return To stock Use option 2. If all you want is stock recovery, you can just do the mfastboot flash recovery recovery.img line and skip the rest if that is all you need.
OR....
If you are rooted and you can obtain the correct recovery.img and copy it to your phone, you can flash via your phone (without setting up Fastboot, etc on your PC) by following -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/general/ref-return-to-stock-recovery-rooted-t3027079 (this does have info on obtaining the stock recovery for your phone via your PC, you'll just need to copy the IMG file to the phone before you proceed.)
Hello all,
I have my Motorola RazrI stuck again since yesterday. That happens for 3 or 4th time, and everytime I was able to fix the problem easily, by re-flashing the Firmware using RSD Lite.
However this time, stuck is on Intel Logo, and if I try to re-flash the firwamre with RSD, it is failing on step 1.
- error is validation gpt_main failed
I have spent some time to check for any similar topics here, but all the suggested for this moment is not helping me at all.
I am sure it is a software issue, as the device itself is absoltely perfect in condition
I will appreciate anyone who can help me to solve it, and to have my phone back and working
Thank you in advance!
a quick clarification:
I think problem is because before the stuck, phone was running with KitKat version, and now I am trying to flash some older ROM via RSDLite ?
Can someone share some experience and let me know if I can find RSD compatible rom to re-flash .
Thanks

It is going to fail, you are trying to flash a JB partition over the kitkat one. You need the kitkat firmware for that to work.

Yes, i am assuming this is the "reason" and error message meaning.
However, can you point me where I can find such KitKat firmware?
Regards
Anyone, can someone help further with suggesting a link where I can download the KitKat version firmware, or any other possible workaround
Many Thanks
I can't root my Figo Atrium 5.5 with tools like Kingroot. I can however upgrade my phone from Lollipop to Marshmallow using SP Flash so I would think rooting is possible. (I have the ability to flash a rom) Someone suggested I use Magisk or SuperSU - which I know nothing about. Doesn't it seem to you that my phone would be Rootable if I can flash a rom? If you think so, How would I do it? If SuperSU isn't used, can I root my phone with the SP Flash tool?
Any help appreciated. Thanks. Btw, I used these instructions to flash Marshmallow with SP Flash Tool. Note - they had incorrect instructions and I had to figure out how to make it work. See my comment in the video comments section https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEIJM2YjNzE

I don't have this device and there's very little within the XDA Forum regarding the Figo Atrium.
The following is only thread that I could locate that may help you in any way.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3672889
The following thread would be the last resort for any assistance (if there's anyone who would know there).

The thread you listed was my old thread when I was having trouble trying to get the upgrade to work. As you see, I figured it out with no help from this community.
BUT in general - does it seem to you my device would be Rootable by virtue of the fact I can flash a rom? <- I really need that question answered.
Yes you can

Yeah, it is readily rootable. Just flash SU via TWRP and you will be good to go - ASSUME you have a TWRP for it ??
Most folks out on XDA couldn't give a rip about Figo phones which is kind of understandable but you will catch more flies with honey than vinegar, as the saying goes.
