Hey all.
When I record a video holding the phone upright rather than landscape it records fine. On playback though it tries to play it back in landscape no matter what.
If I then hold the phone in landscape view, it stretches the video.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
EDIT:Mods Please Delete. Just found another Thread that is already talking about the same. My bad.
Hey guys, Ive been experiencing an annoying bug with the HTC One. I record videos in landscape mode and then when I try to playback holding the phone in landscape mode it shows the video in portrait mode instead and when I keep my phone right side up it plays back in landscape mode so i have to tilt my my head... its super annoying
Then its' likely they weren't recorded in landscape even though you thought they were.
The camera buttons should always be oriented in your direction when recording. If they're not, then it hasn't registered that you've rotated the device (either because you turned it off or are holding it flat, etc).
Hello , I tried to clean my XZ around the screen but when i got to the microphone i noticed that its moving and wrinkled (looks like it's a plastic cover or something like that or it's the microphone itself ) . Its working alright but that's a concerning thing , has anyone got a similar problem or noticed anything ? Does anyone know if that is what makes microphone waterproff ?
i attach a picture i know its not good but i could not focus it better i tried many times
bump up the ride ? anyone ?
Dear fellow forum users/Z1 owners,
I'm a new user of a Sony Xperia Z1. I've been using my phone for about a week now to take photos, and I've noticed that there is a problem with the camera display. When I move my phone to take a photo of another subject, the display actually lags behind and sometimes freezes for a second before finally catching up with my movements. Do any of you face similar issues?
Another question I'd like to ask, would be the vibration/movement of the lens as it refocuses, especially on macro shots. It makes this small "tick" sound and vibrates while attempting to focus, something which I've not experienced on other cameras. Is this natural or is it a hardware issue that I should get Sony to check?
Thanks for taking your time to read this post, and I look forward to hearing your responses.
Cheers,
Sonynoob
I must say - never heard for that problems.
I don't have that issues, my camera is working great, no vibrations, no lag - full HD recording or shooting picts - all works great.

Just tested the camera in a quiet environment and I must say, it seems to produce the 'tick' sound before every shot...it only gets worse in macro situations.
Same goes for me. I think it is a normal thing while camera struggles to focus.

Had this lag too the other night trying to shoot outdoor. I don't know if it was because too much stuff running in background or if it's the camera, only happened once.
Hello everyone! I was recording my girlfriend graduating from college today and I couldnt find any solid auto focus lock. I know on the iphone and other phones you can press and hold but I saw no option as such on the z3 compact. Was wondering if there was something I was missing or if there was a button I was not pressing that would make this so. Thanks.
