I'm currently using Sprint HTC One with htc rom 1.29.651.10 (Android 4.1.2). It supports CDMA, LTE/CDMA, GSM/UMTS and automatic modes. Currently it is Automatic. My operator supports GSM. The phone is rooted, there is installed CWM 6.0.3.6 and system is not updated automatically.
I would like to install CM, but cm-10.1.3-m7spr.zip supports only CDMA and LTE/CDMA. How can I get CM on my phone with GSM enabled?
Thanks
I had the same problem - the official m7spr builds of CM only seem to support CDMA (at least the 10.1 builds, I haven't tried the version 11 nightlies yet).
However, kushdeck has released an unofficial build of CM version 11 for m7spr (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2518124), which works with GSM.
I'm playing with it now and it seems to work well.

Nice. Thanks.
But it seems than kushdeck used cm11 which is only nightly builds. So it can be unstable.
Anyway, I'll try this on weekend.

Use TWRP and the latest official nightly from get.cm (for GApps I'm using the Banks core). I'm using it on GSM and works great.

I have already googled this problem. It seems that there must be latest custom recovery installed in order to flash Android 4.4 based ROM.
Currently I have CWM 6.0.3.6 installed. Maybe its better to update this recovery than installing TWRP?
Otherwise, are there some difficulties changing recovery?
So, when you say you have an account with Sprint and the phone is on a GSM network? Is it roaming onto a GSM network? Does it switch back and forth the CDMA depending on signal strength? Does it run on 4G GSM?

I don't have Sprint account. I'm using my phone in Ukraine. GSM network is primary. So currently I'm not using CDMA.
Updated CWM recovery to latest version via https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.rommanager
Will try to install CM11 shortly, but not today
Installed this CM today. Almost everything is working fine except bluetooth. It doesn't find any other devices and not receiving data from other devices. Are there any updates?
Also phone is not charging while connected to PC if MTP is enabled
Also found that GPS is not working. Google maps can only find position using mobile networks or WiFi, but not with GPS.

Hi there,
We tried to update a telstra branded P7320T Gtab (Honeycomb 3.2) to the ICS releases based off the 4.0.4 drops from Scandanavian providers for the P7320 i.e Arlics Rom (this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1923371 ).
Everything works fine; however 4G APN's do no register, this is most likely a Kernel/Qualcom band mismatch with the Telstra baseband and the updated kernel version in the ICS builds.
Arlics rom does not contain modem/basebands so it is most likely the updated kernel drivers in the 4.0.4 drops misbehaving with the P7320T baseband used by Telstra and Telecom NZ's trail.
Reverting to the Telstra stock solves the problem.
This was tried off a Test Telecom NZ LTE APN (no UMTS functionality - UTMS works ok however).
I would like to hear from any Telstra Australia users who know they are in LTE areas whether or not they get LTE on Gtabs running this rom.
- Apologies for posting here; and not in the thread, the forum policy prevents me from posting their.

Similar experience
I had a similar problem. When I flashed the leaked rom (which wasn't from a Scandinavian provider, by the way, but from a Polish one - forums got it wrong), LTE stopped working. Haven't tried Arlicc's, reluctant to especially now that it seems abandoned.
Sad that the 7320 gets so little love Official ICS release here in Norway has been delayed yet again for the umpteenth time.
You should try the latest version available (XXLPI - to be installed by Odin, no wipe necessary). It seems much better at switching between 4G and GSM/CDMA than the early ICS OTA version I used to have (the one the Arlicc's ROM is based on).

Are you using that on Telstra's network ? Can you post the baseband version?
Sorry, I'm using it in Poland however it's dedicated for other parts of Europe. It contains an upgrade to baseband version P7320XXLP7.
Did not succeed
Until I downgraded this to the last NCM version (a Honeycomb version) again, I couldn't get LTE to work. The TEN Ice Cream Sandwich version from 5.12 did not permit LTE, despite being a Norwegian carrier and me being in Norway.
Hey guys,
Has anyone tried CyanogenMod 10.1.3 stable on GSM network?
I just installed it, totally love most features, but found out I can't send SMS (receiving fine, phonecalls fine also) nor connect to mobile internet (APN should be set up fine).
Tried this with two different SIM cards - Vodafone CZ and T-Mobile CZ.
Both SIMs have SMSC correct and it works out of the box on stock ROM (4.0.4 - 217) but not in CM. Also on other phones it's fine. The problem must be somewhere in the CM 10.1.3.
Changing SMSC works - if changed to different number, it breaks sending messages for stock as well in the same manner, changing it back makes it work again (but not for CM).
I'm using Safestrap 3.65.
I tried completely wiping the CM installations and testing on clean system, with and without GApps. No luck with that
CM 10.1.0 stable has the same issues, 10.2-20131102 snapshot M1 and 10.2-20131126 nightly have the mobile internet fixed (it was probably an APN problem) but SMS can't be sent either.
Go SMS Pro with custom SMSC set to the right value doesn't help.
Updated from a 14 months old installation of Eclipse ICS 1.2 on safestrap 2.11 - huge leap
Any ideas on how to solve it? I'd love to use CM, but not being able to send texts is a deal-breaker Even some workaroud using different messaging application would be greatly welcome
Hey, I solved it myself - the Mentor's GSM patch helped Download here: http://www.internauta37.altervista.org/how-and-patch-fully-enable-gsm-verizon-cdma-phones-android

Hi i hope this is the right place to post this question. I am running the latest cm-12-20150308-NIGHTLY-ghost but their is a problem where switching network type is broken. Iff i try to select 2g while indoors because i have weak LTE signal it wont work. Whenever i select 2g it reverts back to LTE which was not a problem in the last build. I hope this is the right place to post this fault.
Ok so updated to the next nightly release just now and problem still not fixed. NO ability to select 2g band keeps reverting back to global and my signal is **** indoors.

Hi thanks yes the latest nightly has fixed the issue and everything else seems fine too.
Two differents doubts.
Hi! currently I'm still using the Nightly-Ghost of March 4th...
1) in all the Nightly-Ghosts, I faced the issue of any of my contacts is reflected in the user identifier when they call to me. This was already solved in some of the recent versions of the Nightly Ghosts??
2) When Motorola release the official version of Lollipop, we can install the official rom since this custom rom??, I didn't backup my original rom stock of Android 4.4.4 and I prefer to not downgrade because in the past I get a full brick in my Moto Razr i when I did it.

I got the first snapshot a while back and like it. Did the upgrade to the latest snapshot 2 earlier today.
Is there a place to see the changes between snapshots on targa or in general? Thanks

CDMA EVDO Rev.B
How to disable 1xRTT ? I want EVDO only
I will say that this Droid Bionic I bought from a friend for 20 to use as a music player and cam has been thd the most challenging root and customization I've ever done. I began by try
Ing to do the entire root and CM 12 without a pc. I almost made it to, but it soft bricked right At the end. (flash failure) Took me a week and many hrs of research. to get it all fixed and put CM 13 on it. It wassooo slow, Iwent back to a stock roofed, debloated rom that's impressively fast for a dual core (I don't have cel service, but could with it.
I I still get the flash failure fastboot screen every time I boot it. Have touse a key comboto boot, then it goes fine I wouod almost keep it for music, but I cant get t to respond to earbud buttons. That means this formerly awesome phone will probably get tossed in 'challenge complete no longer interested "box in the basement with the rest.

Are you actually running CM13 on one of these? As indicated previously, I found it so intolerably slow I went back to my stock modded. I could switch back to test this if you're still interested.
In the last few weeks, I've come to like this relic. I'm still using it. (oh, the fact that I lost my tab a and am post Xmas broke might have a bit to do w it

I am attempting the same with my XT907. I cant get any of the custom ROMs to flash. I have bricked this phone multiple times and now waiting for the battery to charge agasin to attemot to flash the stock ROM back which is 4.1.2 I think. If you find a CM 13 that will work lwt mw know. I am using RSD Lite to flash with also.
I have the T 817 T (which is the T-Mobile LTE version of the tablet) but there's nothing available in the way of custom roms or anything... I was wondering if I could flash a ROM meant for the Wi-Fi only Version of this tablet...i know I obviously wouldn't have LTE access but would it boot and run otherwise?
I remember back in the days of the original Nexus 7 I could Flash Roms meant for the Wi-Fi only version on my LTE without issue.... Thanks for any input guys.
