So google now is in beta and i have it installed on insert coin rom. Seems like i go to make a phone call and google now comes on in the middle of the call all the time now. I tried uninstalling it..but that causes other problems like error messages every time i turn the phone on. Has anyone else had this problem with Google now and how did you resolve it. thanks

Out of nowhere when i rebooted my phone i got a messege on my phone saying "The SIM card was recently removed, sign into your account to verify identiy" I try loging in but it says its wrong. I cant do anything with the phone when its like this. I found a work around with a custom lockscreen if i turn on airplane mode as soon as it turns on. but its extremly annyoying not being able to use the home button!!! So if anyone has a fix please tell me D:. Im rooted and safestraped on a deoxed version of the stock rom (well i think it is) I just got the phone last night, i started having thease issues later this morning though.
Its a known issue with the RAZR and the Droid 4, the only solution is to hard reset the device.
If anyone is curious I actually found a temp fix for this!! What you do is you restart your phone, as soon as it turns on, quickly turn airplane mode on. Your phone works perfectly now...its just useless. SO TO FIX THAT. You must then go to wireless settings and turn on wifi. Our main goal is to remove your email from accounts, in my case, it was my verizon yahoo email. I think its whatever email shows up for you to verify. If you try removing it over wifi though it will have a server error.
So since you can at least go in the market now (or google play now or whatever lol) you should download an app called LockMenu (free version) that will replace your lockscreen and it has a slider to go directly to your home launcher, once that works fine you can turn airplane mode off. (Your home button and notification bar dont work right now btw) In any case now that your phones data is on again you can now just go to accounts and remove the cursed email.
Now just reboot, and you shouldn't have the error!
Hallelujah
I signed up for an account just to say Thank You to Artic.Light!! I was customizing my phone and while setting up my gmail account activity feed my phone froze up. Upon reboot I received the "SIM card removed" message and was completely f-ing devastated. My GF is 9 months preggers and was out and about in heavy rain so communication was critical. I was freaking out and scrambling for like a half hour looking online for someone who cracked the code. After finally finding and following Artic.Light's instructions my phone is back up and running fine and I could not be happier!! Mega Huge Thanx!!!!
FIX
I found a fix for this. Do what the guy said and put the phone in airplane mode. Reboot the phone and turn it back on. Airplane mode should still be on when the phone comes back on. Simply go to the dial pad. call someone, it will give you a message about airplane mode being turned off, just ignore it and complete the phone call. Stay connected in the phone call for about 2 minutes to allow the sim card to refresh. and thats it.

Nick, did your solution continue to work after fixing it and then powering off? Unfortunately, it did not for me. I'd been using the power off in airplane mode method, then after powering on, make a call. I typically just call me voice mail and hang up after a few seconds. Your suggestion gave me hope but after leaving the call open (with my work phone) for several minutes (and trying it a couple times, it reverted back to the same issue.
Does anyone know why they don't just fix the bug?

Hello all,
i spent quite some time researching my issue and found out that there is a bunch o people with this problem. The downside is, none of the recomended fixes seem to work.
Description: I recently got a S4 active i9295 with stock rom. Everything clean, nothing custom on it(i belive). For a couple of hours it worked like a charm, then, when i want to call someone, the transition from contacts to dialing screen lags a bit and then it goes into dialing and thats about it. Nothing else happens from there on. I loose signal and it keeps showing that it dials (i let it like this for about 15 minutes and nothing happend). I cannot end the call, it remains stuck in "dialing" mode, i can use all the other functions though. After a restart it works again. Same goes for sending SMS. The icon spins and spins but never sends the SMS, only after a reboot. Also when someone calls me, they get a "no answer" signal and my phone just looks ok, like normal standby but when i want to call back, it freezes at dialing.
I tried 3-4 different stock 4.4.2 roms, hard reset, wipe/clear cache, safe mode... It works fine for 15-20 calls/2-3 hours and then it does it again. After that point it only gets worse and it happens more frequently.
Any ideas on what could cause this or how to permanently fix it? Unfortunately, returning the phone is not really an option.
Thanks to all, best regards.
No one?
Hello guys, I've acquired my New Moto X last monday and I've been using since then. It a fantastic phone and everything else but I have a problem with the moto voice. I use it like, 5 times a day, works perfect, but after a time, and I have a theory that it's conflicting with other apps installed in the phone, it became too slow. Like, i say my activation phrase, it beeps but nothing shows up, only 10 seconds later a very slow and laggy version of the interface. It also happens when I open it directly from the Moto app. After this, I've done a factory reset on the phone, and the Moto Voice came back to life... BUT, after 3 days it started again... Then I done it again... And guess what in 24 hours the same error. The worst part is that I dont' know if they are going to solve this error, I have already reported it but I don't know... And if I send it back to the store to get a new one I'll probably saty almost a month without a phone... Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions
Did you try clearing cache?
Also, are you on the latest version 6.1.10.1?
Yes to both!
I found the OK google feature responds faster and better. Just as long as you don't want to command other apps.
I'm having the exact same issue. It's very slow. Same issues after factory reset. Also - when it does work, works with Google Now, but none of the MOTOX apps like 'find my phone' etc.
any resolution?
Same thing here
I have had the same issue. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times with no luck. The few times I've managed to get through the entire voice set up it ends up un-checking my launch phrase with in a few uses and moto voice stops working. I keep providing feedback when the voice app fails and hopefully they will figureboit why this is happening. Happy to hear its most likely not my device and an issue with the app.
I have the same problem and i may have located the problem. Try turning off bluetooth completely and see if the problem still exists?
I'm hoping someone has experienced the same situation as I.
For some reason after making a phone call I get stuck on the screen that says the redial or message for like 30 seconds to a minute before I can make another call or back to home screen.
This Issue has happened On Rapture and Hyperdrive Tom. So that's telling me most likely an App is the cause of this issue. The weird thing is I haven't installed nor updates any apps for a couple days.(Auto update turned off in google Play. Everything was normal then out of no where this issue started.
Any help/ ideas/ fix will be appreciated and thanked
Any xposed mods that might cause this installed???
Also was this a clean install??
Which includes wiping the internal?
Flash.

Hi,
I have started to get this weired issue after the 8.1 update.
Whenever I receive a call, after picking up the speaker phone turns on automatically. I have to manually turn off the speakerphone, also it does not indicate that the speakerphone is turned on.

Solution is mostly the same for all of the problems.
Do full factory reset.
Setup Google account
Don't install any apps just yet.
Try if problem still exists
In most cases this will help.
What I've learned since my first android device, all of the custom ROMs etc, is that the updates are causing loads of problems.
Once in a while, especially after version upgrade, is worth doing full reset just after updating.
This doesn't apply not only to android, but pretty much every single device on the market.

Thanks for the suggestion, But by full factory reset do you mean the hard reset from the recovery menu or just the factory reset from settings menu -> factory reset..?
facing same issue please help
i am facign the same issue please help me out
Still no solution for the problem...I have made an habit to turn speaker phone on and off immediately after calling .
Try Macrodroid app to set an automatic task, to turn speaker off 1 or to seconds after receiving call.
I am also facing Same issue, can any one give suggestions
Somehow that happened to me when I just got the phone a few months ago. I think that was still on 8.0.
But tapping the speaker phone button 2 times everytime I have a call became nature for me and eventually after a few days, I no longer have that issue.
Are you still having that speaker phone issue now?
Yes...but while it was consistent on 8.0 it has become a random occurrence after 8.1 update
same issue
factory reset solution is not acceptable.
