[Q] Liquid smooth - RAM usage problem - Galaxy S Advance I9070 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am having problem high RAM usage after continuous usage of phone for 3days, phone became very slow.

try supercharger and automatic engine flush every 24 hours - it forces the system to get rid of some unused cache.

I tried liquidsmooth rom its performance is not good at all now i changed to pa3.99 its much more better in terms of performance

im using liquid smooth rom but i think its really really good, it has all the features and ram usage? i get a minimum of 300mb free at all times except when im heavy multi tasking!!! But battery sucks. Battery goes down very fast when using the phone and also when i leave the wifi in deep sleep.

i dont look at ram usage because performance is good ( same as 17/11 build of cm10.1 if u used it ) i have some apps working like fb , messenger whats app , viber and some other apps and still performance is good and no significant lag the rom doesnt have all the features of liquid smooth it have halo and some other customizations ( actually i didnt use any of liquid smooth except halo ) and yes it have transparent lock screen but i didnt try it

In one word, no.
Performance and battery wise there is no better rom than mebiteks continuing work of Psyches rom.
You can beg to differ as much as you want but i've run them both and i'm not saying, i am TELLING YOU that the difference is like night and day.
There is no doubt amongst anyone with or without benchmark results that EmanonV5 is one of the slower roms and that mebiteks is the uncrowned king of performance.
All that while being the most stable rom there is..
Yeah, you got it right, i like mebiteks rom.

Just used mebitek... So i think emanon is better. If you dont care about customizations.

I, on the other hand, think we are well served of ROMs and top developers! Much more than many other devices out there.
Besides mebitek e parasmi, we have squadzone (which is my favorite).
And in a war of tastes we don't go anywhere... Let's just thank them all because all of them make our devices better and increase our choices!
Yes you right. But ROM performance is very important thing.

I have nothing to complain about squad's RC5.7 performance and stability at 806 MHz.

But battery??
Sent from my GT-S5570 using xda premium
Not a concern at all. I'm to say that its life dropped very few from the stock ROM.
And another thing: I stopped worry about battery the moment I bought a smartphone, cause you can't demand a smartphone to have the same battery life than the olds Nokia 3320...
And one hour or two hours less, is acceptable, since your daily use varies a lot from one day to another.
But no, I don't charge it every night to use the other day, for my use it last more than a day.
Truly cm7.2 by squadzone is fantastic. Use antutu powersaver app for long life.It really works!!!!!

I'm not here to tell you that you are wrong.
If you prefer Emanon, use it.
Hoewever, Mebiteks rom IS considerably faster than any other ROM there is.
And more so for Emanon than Squads.
About Sqauds, with all the settings it is still slower... without a single script mebiteks is faster, I'm going to go into dev mode so there will be a few weeks offline, i'm going with mebitek.

mebiteks outperforms stock with 33% in battery life at a clock of 786 in heavy use.
Without external tricks that actually slow down the cpu regardless of your own setting.

Jellybean is a little bit unstable and still Alpha, but damn, the battery life is really good. at the end of a day my phone is still at about 30 - 50%. Very good.
But for the best battery life of all, use a gingerbread based rom.

It makes the phone use all pins of a usb cable connector for power only, so that it gives more juice at the cost of no data connection through the usb cable.
On topic, my experience is also that slim plus semaphore gives best battery life but experiences may vary.

Well, personally I like Slim ICS as it is, with the kernel that comes with it.
I also used Semaphore for a while with Slim ICS, it has more customization, but didn't really notice a any significant battery life change.

edit: wow.. triple posting, sorry for that, xda went down for a while.
I too am running on Slim ICS + Semaphore 1.3.0s kernel, i am getting a pretty good battery life with combination of Smartass v2 governor + Deep Idle enabled + Juicedefender + low screen brightness settings. I cant give you any numbers right now but lets say that if i unplug my phone at 12am and have a moderate usage ( phone calls, texts, browsing, fb, whatsapp, maybe a little bit music) i will have +- 50% battery left at 12pm

How fast do you need it to be? I've used the 4s and the 5 and, while they are excellent handsets (yeah - I said it! ), they are not better or faster, in my opinion, just different. the latest JB ROMs are impressive, in terms of overall usability and functionality. Try them

Try different kernel and different combination of scheduler and governor. Every kernel have a "performance" governor.
Btw don't forget that the benchmark are not really representative of the true performance of a device.
It is always good to have some big numbers, but some benchmark apps can be hacked easily to show to incredible scores (and in particular Quadrant).

Did you install CM nightlies? I heard they are more bug-free and has better performance than RC versions.By the way, don't expect any custom ROMs to be faster than stock ROM for the moment, most of them has a lot of bugs or performance issues, stock ROM is the best choice for now.
