Ubuntu Touch on C93 aka ZT-283 - Ubuntu Touch Ports to Android

Has anybody been able to successfully install Ubuntu onto a Zenithink C93 (aka ZT-283)? I do know that it can be done on Cortex A9 devices, but it is a matter of unlocking the bootloader for fastboot. What am I missing? Perhaps I need a step-by-step. Please help?

it depends on how you got into this situation, just because your phone is qhsusb_dload mode, does not mean it can be recovered.
A) phone shutdown by itself all of a sudden / in the morning it didn't turn on -> most likely a hardware problem
B) you were flashing something -> maybe recoverable
in case A, it could show up as a Modem device in Ubuntu,
in case B, it should show up as a Direct Access device

You posted this in the HTC one section. You have an HTC one max.. Your partitions are different so what unbrick project did you follow because following the wrong one will lead to a brick?

x98 plus ii c2d6 - need stock image to flash

i bricked my tablet.. does anyone else hav ea stock image of the c2d6 build? i found c2d4.
also - can anyone assist with figuring out how to install only android and completely elimate the windows partition on the plus II??? [email protected]
Hi,
I'm in a similar situation. On techtablets.com you will find a thread about the C2D4 variant of the X98 Plus II, but there is also a link to the C2D6 images. You will also make windows unbootable by using the android recovery procedure. Even though it is for the C2D4 it is worth to read the whole thread, since it covers also information about how to setup windows and stuff.
Would be interested how you will succeed. Please keep me updated here.
Update: have just reinstalled Android with the downloaded package. It works as long as you do not have blanks in the path to the files.
2nd Update: the win installer does not contain network installation, so you will have to add it manually.

i own a moto g4 xt1624 and though about rooting it for all the reasons why people root.
Got the bootloader code unlocked the bootloader and installed twrp recovery file.
Went ahead and followed all the steps to install Lineage os 14.1 steps from their offical site.
Done all Flashed the file and the device is stuck on a screen now Saying :
Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted.
ID:bad key
Tried every forum on here the device doesn't seem to connect to pc . No showing up in device manager also
Installed all moto usb and qualcomm 9008 drivers .
The device just doesn't enter into fastboot mode no matter what i do
Pls. suggest something .

Question Anyone had a stock rom for clone C20 RMX3061 with MT6582 chipset?

Anyone had a stock rom for clone C20 RMX3061 with MT6582 chipset? My friend had a CP that is stuck on logo. I am trying to see if I can flash the image but it seems to have a different chipset for some reason? Does anyone have a copy? If not, is there any chance I can load a different image on this device?
Are you sure about that ?
You can try mtkclient to check it
