I have a KFHD 7, I installed Kitkat custom rom on it the other day. And now when I download Bejeweled 2 I open it and it says "this application is not authorized for this device" it was working before. Any help please?

Back it up with Titanium Backup, remove the app and then restore the app with Titanium Backup. See if that helps.

hi, i have 2 questions please. although i am a 9300 user i have a problem helping a friend with his 9000. just installed CM10(4.1.2) and all works perfect. My 2 questions are:
1. figured/solved
2. how can i install a "samsung type" of contacts app?
my phone uses the same 4.1.2 but it's a stock based rom, and he really needs the contacts app like in the stock rom.
thank you for any help. i have not posted in cyanogen topic because is not necessary "cyanogen only" related but apologize if i should have done so.
Your own phone is rooted? If so, Titanium Backup should be your friendly neighbourhood system app installer. Backup your own, apply the backup on your friend's phone

You can't install the original Samsung contact app even with TitaniumBackup. It needs the touchwiz framework to run.

I will be going from a rooted Galaxy 2 to a non-rooted Galaxy Note 3. In the past I've used Titanium but since I won't be able to root the Note 3 anytime soon I am looking at Helium. If I backup on a rooted phone will I be able to restore the app and it's data on a non-rooted phone? I couldn't find in the documentation where it addressed this. Creative Mobile Drag Racing and CSR Racing are the two of most concern to me.

How did you get the helium desktop to install? It tells me that I need dotnet 2 the link to download it takes me to dotnet 4 when I try to install it, it tells me it is already installed.
UPDATE: I got it working. Problem was the pc was 64bit Windows. Installed it and the drivers on my Windows tablet and it worked great.

For non-rooted devices you need to connect to PC and utilize a PC installed package as well while your device is connected USB to PC.

I'm not a noob when it comes to android but this KFHD is kicking my butt. Okay, I bought a Kindle Fire HD 7 Demo Unit off craigslist thinking it was a regular unit. I'm trying to use fastboot to install Cyanogenmod but it's not working. All drivers are installed. In Device Manager, it comes up as Android Device > Android ADB interface. In Device and Printers, it still shows up as TATE-PVT-08. My problems is when I run the code, "fastboot -i 0x1949 getvar product", it just skips to the next command line without listing my device. I attached a picture of my CMD below.

First thing is to download the SDK package and set your environment up.

I just determined that my Kindle HD 7 is the 1st gen from 2012. Is there any special way to work on it?

Have you tried to flash anything to it yet? There are Kindle topics on here. Make sure it's only for the firmware your our tablet is running.

What's the best firmware version to use?
My Kindle Fire HD 7" is not in a good way. I will power up and allow me access to the app screen, but that is about it. Any time I try to launch an app it goes to a black screen and I have to cycle power in order to get it back. I am not able to swipe down at all to get the menu to appear, so I have no access to settings at all. I have been bumping around on this forum and based on the fact that I can't turn on the ADB, I bought a factory cable to help me access my KFHD. Now what?? I would like to do a full system restore on it to see if that will help with the issue that I have, but the thread on this forum that discusses that has dead links.
I am very new to this (so call me a n00b), but I want to try to fight through this myself. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Some apps are not compatible with android lollipop.
Can you make it clearly what's the problem?
Which apps, rooted phone or not, what u restored, etc etc.
Btw, sometimes a fresh install will fix things... Just download and create ftf with xperifirm and flash with flashtool. Note that internal sd will be wiped then so backup ur photos etc.
After that, don't use titanium backup to restore apps, it may cause issues too.
The latest version of modern combat 5 and mc4. I tried also one another but i forgot the name. When I take the apk file,i click on install and it show me "installing" but at the end it say "cannot install ".
