Active notifications pin unlock screen - Moto X Q&A

Hi, whenever I unlock my phone through active notifications, the lock screen looks like this.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I would like it to look like this, however.
I can get it to look like this by tapping outside the white square in the first screenshot. This screen also shows up when I wake up my phone using the power button instead of using active notifications. Is there a way to have the lock screen automatically look like the second screenshot I posted when I wake up my phone using active notifications?
I'm rooted, my boot loader is unlocked, and I'm running stock 4.4 with xposed.

I've read in other threads that this is due to the active notification "prompting" for the unlock in a popup style window, versus you turning the screen on and entering the PIN without executive a task like going to the app in question.
I don't believe there is a way to change it except for pushing the power button instead of swiping the active display.

Wish we could change that. It makes it a pain to use the lock screen icons. You have to tap somewhere outside the PIN entry screen to access a widget.

Hiding items on today screen when in landscape??

Basically the message subject says it all... I have a bunch of things in the today screen but when I slide open the phone I want some to be hidden so there is no scrollbar on the side (really annoying)....
Is this possible and if so how do I do it??
Thanks.

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
You probably have large start menu installed.
Heres an image of what I am talking about.... I dont think its the start menu because when I am in landscape the start menu automatically creates a section called "more..." for the items that dont fit.

I think this may have something to do with the Quick launcher which has 5 icons for my pictures, task launcher, camera, music and phone.... this cant be seen in the image but is there a way to hide this program in landscape???? I dont see any options for this.
Thanks.
ADDITION: I was able to make this somewhat more tolerable by un-docking the HTC home plugin... still wish there was no scrolling though.

[MIUI] ICS Lockscreen 4.0 [Got it]

Before you say "SEARCH THE MIUI LS THREADS, THERE'S LIKE 3," I know.
I've tried a few, but none of them have what I'm looking for.
What I want from this request, IS that ICS lockscreen, but with a different notification system.
As you know, the ICS locks we have for MIUI have 4 shortcuts; Camera, Phone, SMS and Unlock.
When you get a text/call, there's no on-screen notification telling you, until you press on the lock-ring, then you see the number of missed whatever.
That's not bad, but I'd like to see notifications before I hit the unlock, then find out I have a text..
If someone could tweak the ICS lock to where it still shows the number on the icon, when you press the lock, BUT have it show elsewhere on the screen, so when you wake the phone up, you can see immediately.
So this is what I want:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I made a little mockup of what I mean, in case I'm being too confusing.
Notifications to show on-screen (as well as when pressing lock), so you can see easily if you've missed something.
BUT ONLY show them when I actually have notifications.
If possible, could the '0's' be taken off the icons too, when you press the lock?
Just have nothing there, unless I get notifications.
Please and thank yoooou.
EDIT: NVM, I made it myself lolz.

Does anybody know how I can move the clock from the far right to the middle?
When on the lock-screen, I can pull the top bar down, shouldn't that be.. locked? I can pull it down and plug in my USB cable and connect without having to even unlock the phone. Any way I can easily fix this without being a knowledgable developer?
How can I enable haptic feedback for the phone menu/back buttons? There doesn't seem to be any options for it anywhere.
One last thing I would like to know how to change, when my phone boots, about 2 seconds after the lock screen appears, the screen turns off, how can I change it to wait longer on the lock screen before turning off? Is there a file somewhere I can edit the timeout delay? It just isn't enough time to unlock the phone after it boots, so it boots, then the screen turns off, and I have to turn it back on, then unlock it. Very annoying.
This is the ROM I am using, it's just vanilla/stock CM10.1 with no additional scripts or mods.
If this isn't the correct forum for such questions could a mod please move it to the right place? Apologies and thanks in advance.
1.) It can be done by editing the statusbar layout..but as for u..try this (https://play.google.com/store/apps/...wxLDEsImNvbS5jYWxzdG8ub21lZ2Euc3RhdHVzYmFyIl0.)
2.) Its an android 4.0+ feature..
3.) Its not enabled by default..may be u can try an app from playstore..
4.) That should not be a problem according to me..it just happens after boot..not after that..

[Q] Lock screen time display gone whack!

I had set time to AM-PM format and when I set it back to 24 hours, the hour display clock on the lock screen remained stuck on AM-PM format. Refer to screenshot - observe difference in hour display in the top taskbar and the time display on the lock screen. :-O

Only difference I see is that the lock screen time is missing the 0 in front. The same happens on my phone; it's 12:19 AM right now where I'm at. When I set it to the 24-hr mode, it shows 00:19 in the status bar and 0:19 on the lock screen. I think that is how it's supposed to be though.
Same here

Thank you for the reply guys. However, I distinctly remember the clock on the lock screen displayed 09 until I deselected 24hour mode, and the zero in 09 went missing after I re-selected the 24hour mode. Though this does not affect functionality, it really annoys me. Hence checking for a solution!

how to disable Facebook Messenger type Calling head?

Hi, I'm having a weird problem
When I call someone or in a call and I press the home button, the calling conversation turns into a round icon and goes to the top left side of the phone like facebook messenger chat head. It's very annoying as sometimes I don't know if the call is going on or not.
I've looked everywhere but haven't found a solution to disable it.
Please help if anybody knows.
It ia a feature of the dialler, not an issue.
If you see the round icon, the call is active. It will dissappear after the call will end.
Is there a way to bring back normal version of knowing if call is active i.e. the notification drop down menu? This round icon thing is very confusing. I feel as if the call has ended but sometimes its going on...
Just do not update the Dialler, or install different one. I didnt find any way to disable it.
