I just got offered a flawless Nexus S for my Vivid (has a cracked screen). Do you guys think I should take the offer?

Depends of you're going to miss sense or not. Also, isn't the screen smaller?

I HATE Sense lol. I'm already buying the galaxy nexus and was planning on selling my vivid, but the nexus s is in really good shape! Guess I'll have 2 Nexus devices

Dual core for single core ???

Guess its a preference thing...I like sense...especially compared to touch wizzard and motocrap...sense is a little 'heavy' with 4.0 though..can't wait for damn bootloader to be unlocked...but that's just first hurdle..

I've seen sense clocks on many other devices trying to imitate the sense's look. Why not just try a custom launcher, you'll do that anyways on any other device

you can always flash a custom AOSP rom like virtuous inquisition or the wajee one and get rid of sense.
I have virtuous ROM, but I'm going ahead and trading my vivid for the nexus s.

Vivid Rocks man , anyday
I can't really find a phone worthy to replace my vivid yet. Of course something similar or a little better, yes, bu not that "wow" device. The direction some manufacturers go (no sd card or removable battery, even quad-core with lte) I guess I'll keep it for at least 9-12 more months.

I wanted to see how cracked is your screen is. Can you post up some pics of it...?
Edit: NVM found it...
you can always flash a sensless rom. then you might fall in love with the vivid again. once you rip out sense and att apps, the device starts to perform

Thanks, but already tried that! Its pretty close to the Nexus, but I still like the Nexus more I highly reccomend BOTH of these phones!
Let me start off by saying that I'm really enjoying my HTC one, it's great and phenomenal. I'm hoping HTC will make a great comeback with this phone, but here's a question: What would they name their next phone? Maybe they'll just go with HTC Two, but that sounds pretty silly. Hopefully they won't take a step back either to last year's models.
HTC One+?

Touché.
As we know, the double membrane Mic is going to be swapped because of it being exclusive to Nokia. HTC said it would go through the stock of current mics and then switch to a different. is there a way to tell which your phone has?

Hello every one.
So everyone heard about motion gestures.
I have sense 6 toolbox, and there is an option to have the same features.
But unlike m8, this will use the actual touch screen while the screen is turned off.
Which means that the touch screen will always be activated (24/7)
My question is : will this damage the touch screen? Or its normal for the screen to be activated all the time?
I would really like to have this feature but I'm afraid that it will damage my phone.

On the M8 how do you think is working without the touchscreen? It's not having nothing special, the touchscreen is on even on M8.
And Yes you will not broke your touchscreen.

I'm asking this question because in HTC's website, it says that it works by built in sensors...
But it doesn't make sense, so I created this thread...

It's working with touch screen on and with the Accelerometer on M8 (to force you to put the phone in vertical position).
What HTC is telling us is only marketing, publicity........ and so on.
Why do you think that they don't put this feature in M7? They must say that the M8 is more advanced because is having some magical new sensors only to sell.
