Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but is there an app to replace the in-call app? I think it's rather ugly and it's the last thing I need to replace to get my phone looking perfect.
Thanks.

I already use GO Dialer, but when I hit call it ask to "dial out" and goes to the default android (in-call?) app. Thanks for the suggestion though

ok, no problems then
Hi all !
I'm on 12.1.A.1.201 (dipesh1502 version, rooted etc.).
I wonder why there are no quick actions (reply, mark read) in SMS notifications. I thought those where standard in Android 4.3.
I believe it might be because Sony's SMS application does not support them, so I tried to replace them with mms.apk from CM10.2, but it just crashes when I try to load it.
I also found an xposed module (SMS Xposed), but it is said that it is made for AOSP sms app also.
Any solution to have quick actions in my sms notifications ?
I do not want to use a third party SMS app though, I'd like o use either Sony's app or the AOSP app.
Thanks !
Edit : sorry, should be in Q&A section probably ?
No bro, at this moment there's no solution if you want to use stock messaging app.. Imo it's not a big prob.
Cheers.

OK thanks for answering.
Too bad, I really miss those quick actions... I guess I can live without them.
Edit : I just discovered that CM's messaging app was available on the play store. Very close to stock, and with quick actions, perfect !

I wonder how or if there is an app that can separate the notification sound for each app like What'sapp will play a different sound from the messaging app?

Don't each of those apps have a setting to choose the sound?.

Yes but as soon that I set one of whatsapp it set it for all of them , SMS email system, the same sound I set for Whatsapp.
oh. Whatsapp, messenger, hangouts all have different tones for me. Are you using a custom ROM or any other app you think may interfere with sounds? /

Now. At least you know that you don't need another app for what you are trying to do. :good:

You right. With Audiko, every time you set a notification for 1 app it change it to the main notification on the phone so the key is to go back and change it to something else then you get the ringtone in the list and you can reselect.
All of the above is correct but i use lightflow on most of my phones which manages all notifications individually

Go to settings > apps and permissions > permission management > choose an app and go to "Single permission setting"
I think the main one is "autostart", but i turned on the first few to be sure. Worked for me.

You also might change the battery settings for those apps. In settings - battery you can change the intelligent app management to more battery use in background allowed. This did the trick for me...
but

Eventually enabling "mobile data use always enabled" in developer settings might help. Or disable the stupid network assistant / intelligent wifi ect.
You have to disable com.vivo.pem through adb shell command. That process kills apps to save battery. After that all notifications will come without problems
