The only way is, after Relock Bootlader, root your phone on Locked Bootlader and install recovery and then when you are on Locked Bootlader with Recovery you will use the Recovery to backup what you need.

Fix the phone with flashtool? Means flash the firmware ftf file?
Yes this is i think the best to do now.
But do it if you are sure.
It can maybe brick you device

Use flashtool, it won't brick your device if you don't do it on purpose. He has a boot loop on the animation so he is not hard bricked. If he can access flash mode then he can restore his device. He just needs to flash the ftf that is for his device
Never update your unlocked boot loader phone with PC companion and over the air as it will brick your device. Flash new Sony updates using flashtool
With the official flashtool they want to prupose update for unlocked.
It still on beta but sound promising

Flashing an official ftf for your phone via flashtool cannot brick your device
Hi,
I have Sony Xperia t2 ultra dual D5322 with android 5.1.
Once I unlock the bootloader,
If I flash stock rom (ftf)via flash tool, whether my bootloader still in unlocked mode or in locked mode??
if it's in unlock mode, installing the custom recovery and flashing superSU package will lead BOOTLOOP or not
I am asking you only because I install the TWRP and update superSU in locked mode.which results in system hang on bootlogo.
Is custom recovery can change the file system permission from readonly to readwrite if yes how??
Please answer me,
thank you.

Xperia Z ROM Problem

I rooted my phone, installed recovery and i installed custom rom,but that rom doesn't work properly (The phone is just restarting all the time). And everything i can do is to put my mobilephone to flash mode, then Flashboot recognize it,but i don't know what to do then(i tried to flash some kernels but the problem is in rom),can anyone please help me?
Is your bootloader unlocked? You need an unlocked bootloader to flash a non-stock based custom roms. Since you can connect it to flashmode, download flash tools and flash back a stock rom. You can unlock your bootloader if you want flash flash a custom ROM.

[Q] Rooting 4.3 Problem

Hey guys i know there is probably an answer in here somewhere but ihave looked everywhere and tried all possible options to get this working. After my pc companion nagging at me to upgrade i bit the bullet and upgraded to JB 4.3 10.4.B.0.569
Afterwards i then found out that it had relocked bootloader and unrooted my phone..
So i went through the sony normal way of unlocked bootloader first of all... this is where i've hit a snag.. first time the Command promp told me it had failed then itried again with my KEY and it said DONE.... now my phone was stuck in a terrifying bootloop. So i then flashed 4.3 firmware using flashtools, and repaired my phone through sony center.... again.. tried to unlock bootloader and was stuck in boot loop. I have re flashed about 4 times and tried to unlock 4 times... still getting boot loops....
Any one care to shed some light on this?
Many thanks
Chris

Is bootloader unlock allowed?
Have you tried relocking it again using flashtool?

Hey
I was playing around with 4.3 all last night and managed to get root on my Z with locked BL,
Here is how I did it..
(Locked bootloader, skip unlocking if already unlocked)
- Flash the .67 firmware via flashtool
- Root 4.2 as you would have
- Unlock your bootloader and Backup the TA partition to relock this without losing any DRM keys
- Using flashtool flash the new firmware .569 (4.3)
- Then flash Doomlords advanced stock kernel
- Boot 4.3 and power down
- Using the recover installed with the kernel flash a superSU.zip from somewhere around here.
- Reboot and you now should have root
[Locked bl]
- Reflash ONLY just .569 kernel from the FTF
- Power on and Restore your TA partition to relock your boot loader and return everything back to normal..but with some root
As for your bootloader not unlocking properly i would first check to see if an unlock is allowed
when i try to flash 4.2 67 firmware..i just got bootloop..please someone help me..what have i done wrong..i still in LB..
Wipe data when flashing.

Just unlock your bootloader through Flashtool when on newest firmware, flash advanced stock kernel, root, flash back stock kernel and re-lock your bootloader. should be working for you, and it wont take that much time :good::good:

If the warranty and features such as Bravia Engine 2 are important to anyone, please don't just follow this. Your DRM keys that allow BE2 to work and your warranty will be permanently lost.
Follow the earlier post in this thread and downgrade, root and backup your TA partition BEFORE unlocking the bootloader.

rooted now what is the next step

now im downloading kitkat 4.4.4 to flash and then i will root with the new tool ,, i need to what is the next step to flash recovery and custom firmware and mods
i read about dual recovery , fastboot ,flashtool , boot loader , unlock boot loader but i dont understantd so if anyone can help me in this !!
If you root with the newtool it will install recovery as well.
Dual recovery is just a recovery package that gives you the option of 3 recoveries
You do not need to unlock the bootloader to get recovery, but you do if you want to flash a custom kernel.
i rooted now using the new tool from this topic and nw i have recovery .. can i flash custom roms ?

From the development section yes.
If you want to flash custom roms from the original development section you need to unlock the bootloader

yes you can flash custom rom base on sony stock, not AOSP (CM, PA, AOKP...)
i didnt get it !! what is the difference ? and how to unlock boot and is it dangerous ?
The difference is the kernel. Locked bootloaders will not boot on a custom kernel. In order to unlock your bootloader just Google "Sony unlock bootloader "
