Custom recovery for the T759 - Samsung Galaxy Exhibit 4G

so got this Samsung galaxy exhibit 4g T759 from a friend and i have rooted it using zurgrush but now im tryin to flash roms but i am unable to find a custom recovery for my model, keep finding the newer model T679, can somone help me out here?

Sorry!
Sorry. I researched and I don't think you have any recoveries. I don't think you can get roms on it. Why don't you download ROM Manager and see if it detects your phone as a different phone and maybe you can use that recovery. Example...My infuse 4g was recoveried with rom manager but I selected SGH-i9000 since the infuse wasn't supported.

I checked ROM manager but there was none, the device has a thread and ROMs in it so how can it not have a recovery? My device is the picture of the thread

If you are referring to this forum that you posted on, then yes it has your picture, why? No idea, that's xda's mistake

Thanks again. Just one more question: how to flash? I have a first GB 2.3.4 for CDMA (ported from GB Sprint, I believe so) flashed with Heimdall but there is no correct CWR installed. Should I install Galaxy Cubed 3 or similar ROM first? Or how to install this ROM using Heimdall? Sorry but I can't find the answer on the forum mentioned above....
I've asked some people about how to flash this with no help. And as you can see no one really cares to much about the VZW SGT, well the SCH-I800 anyways. Rite now i'm happy with just having root.

Is P1000R same as P1000?

Hello, my dad has Rogers Galaxy Tab P1000R from Rogers, and he wants me to root his Tab and put a custom ROM on it.
So I searched "How to root P1000R" on Google and only found how to on P1000
So I'm wondering if Galaxy Tab P1000R is same as P1000 and if I can simply root the same way as P1000 and put a P1000 custom ROM on P1000R.
Thanks in advance
yes, the "R" is the same as P1000 but carrier branded

What's the difference Galaxy Tab P1 and P1N?

I have cyanogenmod 9 for p1 installed to my galaxy tab, i installed also goo manager, when i checked updates it found an update but it says P1N.
I use stable cyanogenmod 9 for p1, can anyone tell me whats the difference?
Did i install wrong rom on my tab or not?
I bought it in Netherlands, its wifi and 3g model.
Thanks in advance.
Check what is printed at the back of your tab.
Is it P1000 or P1000N
The N/L is the version sold in Latin America.
It has different touch screen driver and need specific kernel or cm9 p1n build.

[Q] Need to re-root the tab?

Hi I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 GT-P7300 3G version which originally came with Honeycomb OS. About six months ago I rooted the phone using tutorials from the internet and the tab was working fine. Then about a month ago I flashed the ICS ROM using Odin (again using a tutorial from the net) The tab still works perfectly but I noticed that I no longer have root access.
Do I need to root the phone again and how do I do it?
Thanks in advance for the help

Hi
Thanks for the reply.
those are the instructions I used to root the tab originally. However as I stated earlier I lost root when I flashed the ICS ROM to the tab. Will this method work again on the ICS? Or is it only for the Honeycomb tabs?
Thanks

Wel.. This is actualy the first time I read about someone having a broken USB which really sucks when you want to root your device. With my basic knowledge, I don't see a solution atm.
If you have one, pleas tell us @JJEgan, instead of pointing to stickies every time. We're still here to help one another.
