[Q] Stuck in Bootloader and cant flash a ROM - Sprint HTC One (M7)

I think I totally messed up my HTC one sprint.I unlocked the bootloader, installed twrp and then flashed cyanogenmod 11 on it with gapps4.4.2 and It was running pretty smoothly but the battery life was terrible and no one could hear me when i was on speakerphone. So i tried to get it back to stock rom and now I am just stuck in the bootloader. When i go into TWRP there are no ROMs there anymore. I must have wiped them by accident. Additionally I was never successful in getting S-OFF i tried RumRunner like 20 times with no luck. Please help me
When i run the what I think is the correct RUU I get "ERROR [155]: UNKNOWN ERROR
The ROM Update Utility cannot update your Android phone.
Please get the correct ROM Update Utility and try again.

1) if you go into twrp and mount only data partition and nothing else you can plug it into the computer and place a rom on the phone
2) did you use the 3.05.651.6 RUU http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2576995

Read the FAQ, questions 14 - 16. Also question 26 for issues with Window 8.1.

It will not allow me to mount the "data" partition. When I click on it, nothing happens. The only partition it allows me to mount is the system.

[Q] Sprint HTC One UNFIXABLE! HELP!

My Sprint HTC One was working fine until i flashed the latest AOKP build and a kernel that must not have worked. The phone started rebooting and wouldn't stay in the system for longer than a minute. I decided to wipe everything, even internal storage so that I could adb push another rom onto it and install. I did this before but for some reason this time it didn't. My computer recognized when I'm in adb or fastboot but when I try to push a rom from adb or flash a rom from fastboot it says it can't mount data, cache, system, blah blah blah... I know I'm a noob at this rooting stuff with HTC but please could someone help me? I also tried RUU but my image version was higher then the RUU image version so that wasn't an option as my image version is 1.31.651.2 and the latest image version for RUU is 1.29.651.10. I don't have s-off and I am not able to obtain it because I have no OS and it can't mount. Can someone PLEASE HELP ME?
You can get into twrp..... try re installing the htc drivers or generic Android drivers. perhaps maybe installing the drivers on a different pc and or using a live ubuntuu disk and pushing the files over to twrp.

Your internal memory is corrupt. Flash a different version of TWRP. It should fix the errors. You will then be able to mount everything.

adb reboot recovery.
In TWRP go to Advanced > ADB Sideload

Updating and restoring to stock issues

I have an HTC One by T-Mobile, Our update was released Monday. I tried to update but when it rebooted it went to install and failed to install, I looked up some information that say usually the cause of the failed install for software system updates is because of an unlocked bootloader and custom recovery. So I've tried to restore to factory OEM settings but every time it fails to up restore to the factory update as well. I'm at a loss here and no Idea what to do. I can flash any custom roms I want and those seem to work and flash just fine but If I try anything else like reverting to OEM stock it doesn't work. Anyone have any Ideas?
Before anyone asks, I've tried doing a RRU restore from desktop and .Zip on my phone and neither work. Both fail.

Get s-off and restore any RUU.. After restore, better get s-off before you update, you won't be able to get it after the update.

I'm pretty sure you don't need to relock the bootloader for OTAs, you do however need 100% stock ROM and (a very close) stock recovery for that ROM.

Restart your computer, also update to latest HTC drivers and adb sdk.
Alternate method, use an OTG cable with a USB stick with a ROM.ZIP on it, and mount "external sdcard" (or whatever it's called) in custom recovery.

Doesn't CM11 need to piggy back off Kitkat? I always hear "CM for Kitkat" and when I go to Goomanager, it doesn't give me CM11 only 10.1
All I want to CM on my phone, Im rooted, have CMW premium, SUperSU and unlocked...
When I go to CWM, it doesn't work, when I try and DL from Goo, it doesn't work, when I try to download from CM app, doesn't work. I'm going to throw this phone across the room. I hve done custom roms before, but always using a toolkit for PC. I only have access to a mac for the time being

The Device must be unlocked and equipped with a Recovery,
you need a ROM.zip and optional GAPPS,the Download Links will you find here.
At first, make a Nandroid-Backup of your existing system!
When you first time flash the ROM or you changed from another ROM-Base,
do a Full Wipe via Recovery, flash the ROM, and then the GAPPS.
Restart to System, configure and enjoy CM11.

Before i relock i can load a cwm recovery.
In the recovery i try everything: cache, data, system wipe - factory reset (failed and reload everytime) - try via sideload to install a custom rom (loading the file to device but cannot install...)
After that i read more about the device and i want back to clean stock......but now the only working is fastboot mode to managed the device via PC.
One thing i wont to try was the install a nandroid backup via OTG cable....but this works only in a recovery - right?
It would be nice to unlock the bootloader again so that i came back to recovery...but how?

fastboot oem unlock can't be used on your phone version, you must use HTCdev.com if you want to unlock the bootloader.

The MD5 of the first RUU was okay.
It still does not work. Wrong imaging ....

1.28.401.7 is a downgrade and you can't downgrade with S-ON, you must use a ruu same or higher version installed on your phone (1.29.401.10 +)
So,
i downloaded your recommendation:
"RUU M7 UL K44 SENSE55 MR HTC Europe 4.19.401.9 R Radio 4A.23.3263.28 10.38r.1157.04L Release 353069 Signed 2-1"
and try to install but i get imaging error.
The phone shows the silver htc logo and aborted during pushing the files to the device with this imaging error message.....
MD5 matched!
Is this also the wrong RUU??
Somehow I can not get to the target Very disappointing ...
Any ideas?
I get the unlock code from htcdev.com.
Better work with unlocked device (recovery, sideload, nandroid backup option via OTG cable)???
I have solved the problem:
That's what I did:
Unlock the bootloader via htcdev.com.
Get the cwm recovery back .
Flash the current cwm recovery via fastboot (my recovery was a little bit outdated).
Flash via sideload cm11 Rom.
Device booting until the bootanimation :victory:
Back to recovery do all the wipe stuff.
And yes i have fully working device now
Great!
But unfortunately I have not a RUU to get back to the factory defaults ....
But there are still a few RUU or nandroid backups that I can try ...

All I want to achieve is custom ROMS.
I was using Hasoon2000's all in one tool.

I am able to flash and run a custom recovery.:good:
When the phone was running it said I didn't have root access.
I tried to install CM11.
Somewhere along the way things got messed up.
My phone will not boot past the HTC "Quietly Brilliant" screen.
I cant seem to get the stock RUU.zip to work.
I have not been able to sideload anything either.
I feel like I have tried everything.
Does anyone know to fix my phone?
Does me doing all this on 4.4.2 have to do with it?
Please help me, I'm about throw this thing at the wall, and that's not like me!!! Haha.
Thank you anyone that can help, seriously I need it.:highfive:
I used the CM installer to flash a custom Rom, worked brilliantly.
For you to have installed CM11 and run the Rom means you done everything right.
Remembering back to CM11 I had on the M7 root is not enabled by default, you turn it on within the Rom then good to go.
Are you able to reflash CM11 to get it back working?
Some roms will not boot up as well unless you have a correct/specific kernal or sometimes recovery too..

S-On does not mean much, ive never S-Offd a mobile.
Read up about flashing and making fixes there are plenty of help threads here.
I am not one to really hep, I destroyed my first M7, got another 2 and have one stock and the other i rooted and flash to custom rom via the CM Installed, have not had an issue with it since. Just do not wipe storage, i managed to wipe the firmware somehow and killed the phone. Side loading/pushing is pain in the but..
