4.3 Cataclysm on my Nexus 4 and 4.3 AOSPA on my Galaxy Tab 2. Because it's always good to have the latest. But I don't upgrade until a stable root method is found though.

Nexus 7 (2013) - stock and unrooted. It's so fast and reliable. I have no reason to root it currently. I am constantly impressed with 4.3 these days. So stable and fast.
Nexus 4 - PA with Franco kernel plus. Seems to be buttery smooth and exceptional battery life.
HTC One GPE - Slim bean with teamaosp kernel. Just a backup phone nowadays. I have always been a fan of slim rom ever since my galaxy S way back in the day. Full of features and is stable! Great rom I've recommended a lot!

about the music enhancements, download this app- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jsf.cmprojects.cyanogenmodappinstaller&hl=en
and install dsp manager using this app. then reboot to recovery and wipe dalvik cache. dsp manager should work then.
