Hello.
I have same troubles with different versions of Notification Centers - Notification Center mod and YaNC.
Sometime notifications stopping to come to watches. When I starting NC in this situation, I received a message "service is not started" - but really it is checked. After re-checking this mark, service activate but stop working again after some unpredictable time. See screenshots for a reference.
Can you suggest some solution?

Did you update the application without being on 2.0 fw? I think that was causing a similar issue for many.
Try rebooting both devices. That did the trick for me with Pebble beta9 for Android.
On SDK 2.0 what worked for me was to uninstall the app and download the beta directly from dev's link --> https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/6999250/dialer/notification/beta/PebbleNotificationCenter.apk

I have this weird problem that only started occurring today.. If I open up the Market and update an app it will attempt to download & update the app over and over in a continuous loop. The only way I can make it stop is if I kill the Market app.
Figuring that something may have become corrupted I just did a complete reinstall and I'm still seeing the same behavior! I just updated an app and it download & installed 6 times repeatedly before I killed the Market app! So annoying!
Anyone seen anything similar? I'm at a loss at how to fix this, I've already reinstalled everything.
OK I'm beginning to think it may be a server problem, but it would be great if anybody could provide some input.
I posted a logcat on pastebin, it captures me waking my phone up, opening the Market and updating the app RepliGo Reader.
http://pastebin.com/UswHrLKK
I have highlighted a couple lines which I think are of interest, from what I can tell the app installs fine, then CheckinService sends a checkin request and receives the following error:
Got ApiException from async request: Error from backend. Request=com.android.vending.model.GetAssetRequest, Response=INTERNAL_SERVICE_ERROR
It's at this point that D/vending states there is a download pending and attempts to download/install again.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Do a search, there are atleast 4 threads on this. One here.
I have a stock Bionic and lately I'm having an issue where I can no longer install non-market apps such as the Amazon app store. I do have the option checked to allow non-market apps in the settings and I've tried toggling it as well. When I try to do the install it goes to the package installer screen where it shows the required permissions and prompts you to press install or cancel. When I press install nothing happens, no error messages or anything, it just stays on the package installer screen. I had this same issue recently when installing apps from the Amazon app store and reinstalling the app store seemed to fix the issue, but tonight after I removed the app store I wasn't able to reinstall it. Any suggestions?
The only thing out of the ordinary I can think of that might be related is that I typically purchase each daily Amazon free app, and I let it download but I don't always install them. Not sure if that's causing some type of issue with a buildup of pending apps in the install queue or what.
I'm able to install Market apps with no problem. Thx!

I found out the issue was being caused by the app "Screen Filter." I use it at night because even at the lowest brightness the screen is too bright for me. As soon as I disabled the filter I was able to install apps again - weird eh? Anyone use a similar app to dim their screen that doesn't have these side effects?

Wow!!! I was having the same issue and by searching the forum I found this thread, and was able to fix the problem by toggling my screen filter off....so weird, but think you so much!!!
Hi all.
I am sure this question has been asked again and again.
But I am having troubles with push notifications working for some apps
I.e. Pushbullet, kaokaotalk
They don't work unless i open the app.
WhatsApp and Facebook seem to be working fine.
Anyone have an absolute fix?

They have been setup as protected apps etc already

Try adding them to the memory whitelist.
Phone manager>system optimization (paintbrush)>settings (gear top right)>memory cleanup whitelist
My understanding is apps in this list will not clear the memory when you "kill" the app. I could be wrong. Please respond to this post if this fixes your problem or not.
Two important settings, under Battery (protected) and under "Apps" (ignore optimization). Also try to put CPU to performance

Solve -> Problem with Pushover notification on lockscreen
my notification did not show on notification and lock screen.
1. Phone manager>system optimization (paintbrush)>settings (gear top right)>memory cleanup whitelist
2. Setting>advanced settings>Battery manager>Power plan> Smart or Performance>
3. Setting>advanced settings>Battery manager>Protected apps> Turn on for Whatsapp and Pushover
4. Clean Master < I think this is the culprit causing problem > Ensure Tools>Notification Cleaner is disable. My was enabled. and it cause notification not to show on the Lock Screen.

I have a note 8, but emui 4.1 is pretty standard across the line. Having the exact same issue. Have tried the PNF, whitelisted google play and whatsapp in the memory whitelist, protected apps, ignore battery optimizations etc.
I can repeat the error. So it seems that it ignores the whitelist like you suspected.
Steps. Clear all apps.
Open quicksync manually sync accounts that i want to show up.
Notifications appear.
Go to app task manager view with the square button, kill app.
Send message. No dice.
Have even tried using the PNF heartbeat fix, but to no effect.
Now i have one odd issue. When i received the device, google play services was already installed, but some how it was in the system folder despite the phone being locked. Not sure if that is an issue, since if anything i would suspect that would be helpful instead of harmful, but i have no way of removing it to test since bootloader is locked , and the play services is persistent over a factory reset.
Anyways, any other solutions i have not thought of would be helpful, huawei makes such nice devices, but if you get stuck on a chinese rom, it can be a nightmare for some.. went through the same headache with mate 7 but managed to solve its notifications issues.
Go to Settings-->Accounts-->Tap on the Menu button at the bottom-->Check[?] Auto-sync data

Yes I have tried that. For now I think i will just add my chat clients and aquamail to the locked status on the task manager and keep them open... I have tried all iterations of power saving, etc.. so I think it may just be the build unfortuneately. Hopefully EMUI 5.0 will be a bit less invasive, as they said they are going back to a more stock android vibe to compete in international markets.
Hello, I am in the exact same situation. Did you get some luck?
I updated mine to emui5, but nothing changed.
Do you have a AL10 chinese version? I am thinking that this might be the point.
Thank you.
I have a tmobile note 8 and ever since I upgraded to Android 8, push notifications are coming in delayed and all at once at random times. Take outlook for example, an hour might go by and then all of a sudden dozens of notifications hit all at once. I checked if maybe battery settings were messing with outlook but it is not blocked and my phone is in performance mode. Seems like my phone is going into a deep sleep and not doing push notifications as they come in. Any idea what is happening?
Same thing happened to mind after update. But seems to be resolved now. I think I went into Apps then pressed the three dots in the up right corner and chose reset app preferences. I also messed about in the notification menu somewhat prior to that.

Factory reset. A good practice after a major software update.

Disable the GOOGLE app in app manager. It should ask you if you want to go back to the factory app. Just agree to this. This is assuming you checked to make sure Battery Manager wasn't turning off your app or the data saver wasn't killing your app data access. If you have done these things and your app notification is still delayed it is being caused by the GOOGLE app. Listed as "Google" in app manager. Hope this helps someone else.
UPDATE: I should have mentioned for a permanent solution and to allow you to continue using the GOOGLE app you can go to the Google Play Store, find the installed GOOGLE app, click uninstall to revert to the factory GOOGLE app, once uninstalled click the three dots at the top right and Uncheck the Auto Updates to the GOOGLE app. This will allow you to retain the factory app functions and should resolve this notification issue at the same time.
There was a prompt for an update of the Bixby Vision app and upon updating, I launched the app via Air Command and opened it and it followed with 'accept terms and conditions' like the first time launching the app and then it goes black and says "can't check for updates" and then it closes without launching the app. I've tried uninstalling the update and reopening Galaxy Apps to update and even just running the app without the update and it still closes. Any thoughts on this subject?
I have no issues using it.
Mater of fact i had to add it to air command to mimick what you did.
I was prompted with the accept Pinterest and google legal, then i had an update,. Went to samsung store to update and i had no issues. I also had to accept that bixby vision needs access to photos and other sections on the phone.
Maybe reset permissions , phone cache as well
The version you have is the latest version at the time of this writing.
I'm on the same boat. I JUST got my Note 9 a couple of days ago and I was playing around with it today. I was setting up bixby and when it FINALLY was done, it told me to update. Then, it just kept checking for updates. I called Samsung support and they couldn't figure it out either. I'm waiting for their reply and will update here once I find out what's wrong, but it's likely a global issue.
I'm pretty sure then there will be another software update to fix the issue, just like there was a software update on the day of the launch.
There was an update released today that fixed it from closing the app and now it works again.
