I Need the TV app/apk for the HTC one.
I know for the s4 ....peel apk and
"Watch on" apk is the name for there version of the ir blaster remote app.
Can someone link me to the apk.. Or direct me to where I can find the stand alone Tv apk for the ir blaster.
I want to install it on a ROM that does not have it.

The HTC TV app is THE best. I found an apk but it fails after install
Hey guys, I've been trying to find the best IR remote app lately and I'm not finding what I'm looking for. I usually just use the stock TV app which works okay, and just recently I got the Smart IR Remote for HTC One and it's nice looking, has some good features. Mainly, I'm looking for an app that works like a harmony remote does. So I press "Watch TV" and it turns every thing on that is needed and changes the inputs to what they need to be on.
Does anyone know of an app like this? It would be great! I could totally eliminate my Harmony Remote for good!

Not sure if it works with it but Logitech released a harmony app. Search harmony in the play store

Yeah I saw those, they only work with their Harmony Connect hardware or Harmony Link hardware.
Thanks though*

Do you recommend Smart IR Remote for HTC One? I like the stock one but I don't want any of the channel or guides as I don't any of those services where I live.
Can you make Smart IR Remote for HTC One to learn commands from other remotes? I want to use the One for controlling my AC units in the house as well
Thanks!
Icontrol is free in of the thread in xda... It works well.. Even with my pedestal fan....

I don't think it's possible hardware-wise. HTC One doesn't have an infrared receiver. It's only got a transmitter. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

You're wrong, it's the S4 that can't learn codes. The stock and Smart IR can both learn codes, and from what I've heard Smart IR does have amazing support.

Wow, I wasn't aware of that!
I stand corrected.

The stock TV app does learn codes. I'll give Smart IR a try.
The iControl app can be downloaded from here.

Hello and thanks for listening...
I've got an HTC one, global model. I recently flashed over to Cyanogen mod 10.2, and so have lost access to the HTC infared remote control app. I'm just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for either a decent app on Google play I can download, or knows how to get the HTC remote control app.
Anyway thanks in advance.
Dangerous Dave
Depends if they have fixed the IR blaster yet. When I decided to go to another Rom, it still wasn't fixed yet. (2 weeks ago)

Oh I see, so Cyanogen probably haven't sorted out the IR blaster yet? That's a pain. Cheers

You either need to edit the apk or install modded policy. Check my camera no sound thread
link?
May I have the link for your silence camera? I can't find it

Only for mk7
Easiest way is to follow link to policy as I only modded for mk7
Thanks! ! It is working now I did it with the alternative and there is no more sound when the watch is on vibtate (witch it is 95% of the time)
I installed lineage 14.1 in my htc m7, but now IR is not working, it used to be my remote control for TV. How can I make it work again?
Thanks

Try other apps then. Some should work

Anymote and in settings you have to activate "use alternative ir commands" and select the android ir blaster. Dont know why this app doesnt know this by its own.
Universal remote for HTC
Working just fine
